Dynamically Producing New Text Boxes In Form

I've been ask to produce a new upload form that can allow multiple files to be uploaded with each article i was thinking of adding an upload form field than when text is added to the text field an extra file name description and upload text box would appear on the page via javascript.
So the more files that add to the form the more dynamically produced form text boxes are added, i have been looking to find if this could be done or what way is better, if anyone could help with telling where to look or how to dynamically produce more text areas. Or could you let me know another solutions to this.
I have seen it work on my mobile when added new contacts, you type in mobile number and then the home text box appears below it, then you type in home number and then the work text box appears. etc..

As part of my form I have a box for the user to input the number of text boxes needed. I already have the page creating the textboxes but do not know the IDs of each text box. Once the user adds textboxes they can click add again to create more. If the user previously added 3 textboxes and now enters 4 I want the program to just add one more instead of 4 more.

I am doing a website project and in that currently I am designing a product page. I have to design add values to text boxes and drag and drop the text boxes in the workspace and delete the text boxes the user does not want and have to draw a graphical line between the text boxes which are in order.I have designed and coded everything except the graphical line part.
I am a learner in javascript and Can we draw a graphical line dynamically between the text boxes in the webpage? If we can draw, can anyone let me know the tutorial for that so that I can learn and start coding as I have to submit that project soon.

I have a form where a user enters a number in a text box (txtTickets). When that number is entered, I need to create an equal number of select boxes. I've found code examples which show how to dynamically add or delete options from a select box, but I have found no examples which deal with this specific scenario. The select options do not depend on user input -- that is, I do not need to populate it dynamically. I need to create them dynamically. Has anyone created something similar to this?

I need to be able to add dynamically multiple "Date Picker" input boxes to a form. I wanted to use a simple dynamic textbox added form which will easily add or remove date pickers.
I already have a Date Picker which works well also I have a very dynamic field added.
is it possible to use another JavaScript inside another script as one seems to corrupt the other?

I am trying to test out a basic xhtml form using radio buttons and text boxes. I want a user to select one of the radio buttons and have the focus change to the relevant text box where they can enter in the title of their choice.

Im working on a backend panel where i populate a simple table with a few text boxes in there so they can update some values. I also have at the end of every row in the table an Edit, Delete & Save button. When i hit the save button i would like to update that entry in the database.
My Problem is that i need a value from the table before hitting a submit button, and the element names are dynamically created meaning ill likely need a variable sent from php to javascript and once i have the value in javascript ill need to send it back over to the php to manipulate and send to the server.
From wat i can gather using 'document.form.element.value' is the best way to go, hence why i posted this in javascript when most of my code is php.

I've got 3 'alternative' boxes, only one of which I want displayed,
according to the value of an earlier select (so I'm using the
<htmlelement>.style property from javascript).
One is a div containing text, which I amend as appropriate with innerhtml
One is an image.
One is a div containing 4 input text boxes, which are disabled or not as
appropriate.
I've tried .style.visibility = "hidden" / "visible" (correctly leaves
blank space, which I don't want)
I've tried .style.display = "none" / "block" (works for moz, ie treats
as visibility)
I've tried setting .style.height & width to "0px" / null (doesn't work
for ie).
Any suggestions as to how to make the thing disappear and occupy no
space (dynamically) in ie as well as other browsers please ?

Each time I dynamically load the options of a select box and then try to do anything with it (such as clicking it or using other JS code on it) I get the following Firefox error:Error: Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount = NS_ERROR_DOM_INDEX_SIZE_ERR

I'm currently working with a bit of javascript to dynamically add
<option>s into a select box. My code currently works fine in Internet
Explorer, however in Firefox the dropdown only displays the first
option in the list, and when clicked the other values aren't displayed.
Here is the code;

As I said - fine in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox. I did
discover some discussions about this, which were talking about an issue
and workarounds but I couldn't get any of them to work. I have also
tried simply using the document.write() function to output the HTML in
the correct place. However this is just hte same, works in IE but not
Firefox.

I have 4 text boxes that are supposed to load 4 seperate values of data from one field in one table from a database. The field is called interface_cropsettings (from the interface table) and these values have been concatenated and comma seperated in this field.
Code:
Once the form is filled out and saved, the data is inserted into the database and the values from these 4 text boxes are concatenated, comma seperated and inserted into that one field correctly.

If the 4 text boxes have the following values:

However, if the form is closed and then re-opened, each text box displays the entire database field rather then each value seperated in the corresponding text box.

I already know why the data appears like this in the form, my problem is that I'm not sure how to write the javascript to seperate the values into the correct corresponding fields, assuming javascript is what I should be using!
Also, this is kind of irrelevant but just in case you're wondering, this form is part of a cold fusion application!

The code below allows the user to hover over 1 object and it not only replaces the object but also shows an additional object between the buttons.It works great in Firefox, but does not in Internet Explorer.

I have two js scripts running on my project at the moment, one is uses mootools and the other uses jquery-1.2.3min, both work but not if they are on the same page.The mootool adds the pop out effect to a form box and the jquery enables the nav switch for 2 boxes that contain different form fields for a search engine. Now I've been reading up on the two and have decided to favour jquery which means I have to reproduce the same effect in mootool but with my limited knowledge it's proven rather hard.The mootool code:

i have a multiple page form where on one page i ask my user to enter a number into a textbox. i would like to know how to get some textboxes to appear on the next page in relation to the number they enter on the first page. i.e. if they enter 10 in the first text box, 10 textboxes appear on the next page for them to enter data into and then press next to go onto the following page.

I have a table of textboxes which is dynamically create (based off the number of users and levels in my db). I want the sum of each row to be 100 - the easiest way to ensure this is to update the row sum after any change in the textboxes.The kicker is that I need to keep the user/level associations so that I can upload the new numbers to the database. Was thinking of using name="L5-U1" (level 5 - user 1) as the name attributes for each of the textboxes but unsure of how to sum the boxes using this method.After some further research, I think the best way is to assign the same class per row and add up all the textboxes in that class. What code would I use to auto-select the affiliated class? (e.g. I can't have a specific class listed in the function since they are dynamically generated, need to use "this" or pass the class name via onkeyup)

I have 3 texfield boxes
1. firstname
2. lastname
3. username
When a person enters in their firstname and lastname, I want the
username field to fill with firstnameLastinitial.
Eg. Firstname = Adam, Lastname = Apple, Username = AdamA
I want to do it dynamically so as they're typing their firstname, it's
filling in the username field. And when they fill in their lastname,
it does it, but it would only have to do it for the first letter then
go out of the loop.
I don't even know where to start on this one.. onChange is the event?

I know this is probably a real simple one, but I'm obviously missing

I'm building a function that I'll use throughout a website in the situation
that I have two text boxes - the two text boxes will generally contain the
same data. After the user completes the value of the first textbox, I want
to onChange the value of the first textbox into the second textbox UNLESS
the second textbox already has a value.
Here's what I've done so far...

I have a large form, that has text boxes of numbers in rows and
columns. I need to sum the values in the columns, and put the total at
the bottom of the column. But I also need to sum the values in each
row, and put the total at the end of the row.
What is the javascript to sum the values to a few text boxes, and how
would I write the script for these totals to run all at once?
