Mouseover Image Effect Thumbnail To Large Image Different Location On Page
Oct 27, 2009
I have gotten my script to do exactly what I want it to do with one exception. I have some thumbnail images that people can mouse over and the actual image is 100px by 75px. That is what I use for my thumbnail and they reside in www.website.com/images/thumbs/image1.jpg. I have the large version of the image that resides in www.website.com/images/image1.jpg. Its actual size is 640px by 480. When I mouse over my thumbnail, I don't want the thumbnail to appear for the larger image, I want the large image to appear instead? Let me know if you need ellaboration.
Javascript
<script language="JavaScript">
function Change_Big_One(thumb){
document.getElementById('BigOne').src=thumb.src.replace("_th","")
I have a webpage with a left navigation bar and a content box with thumbnails in. I would like to be able to click one image and have all the thumbnails hide and show the larger version of the image in their place.
I am trying to use facebox on my site where when a thumbnail of a image is loaded, the large image appears on top. Currently when I select the thumbnail link it goes to new page with large image. I have done the following but still doesn't seem to be working.
I have downloaded css and jquery files and places in relevant folder, also given images. <a href="<?=WEB_PATH?>/images/large/<?=$Row['file_name']?>" rel="facebox"> This is where my large image files are saved.
i'm making a clothing website and i was just wondering.. if i have a bunch of thumbnail sized images on the page atm, how would i go about so if people put their mouse over the thumbnail, it would load the full sized T-shirt? I obviously have the images on my computer and host for the Thumbnails and the Real-image sized shirts.
I want to have a big image and say 5 small thumbnails underneath. When the user clicks a thumbnail, the image loads where the previous big image was. Is there a standard way to do this?
In this webpage drshama.bravehost.com/documents.html
I like to create on mouseover on text the image should display in one frame box. on second text i mouseover, it should display the image in the same frame box... like that on all
I am trying to put together a purse shopping site - I would like to have the various views of the same purse in thumbnails under one image then when the customer clicks on the thumbnail the larger image will go into the viewing area. The general layout is like this page - [URL] So when someone clicks on the smallest image I would like it to replace the other image on the page and the larger image becomes the thumbnail. How is this accomplished?
I have a page that contains thumbnails for a photo gallery. On this page is a link to upload more images. When you click the link a modal opens that contains an upload form (jquery colorbox in an iframe) which will allow you to upload one image (plus its name, caption, etc) at a time using PHP. When the form is submitted the image uploads and the page refreshes in the modal to allow for more uploads.
Since this modal is sitting on top of the existing gallery thumbnails I'd really like for the user to see the new thumbnail added to the page after it's uploaded.
I'm looking for a very simple image gallery solution (no lightbox or something other fance) with a large image and a x amount of thumbnails at one off the sides, where the big image change whenever another thumbnail is clicked, without page refresh. ( a fade transition would be nice)!Which Plugin, preferably as light as possible, is the most suitable for this task?
A script that will take an image and have it rise up out of any location on the page. Example would be a monster rising up from some bushes on the page. I would also like it to have a time delay as well.
I've been looking all over the place in order to find a script like they use on Foliostars, where you see a sliding semi-transparant text layer over a thumbnail image when you hover. how to achieve this using JS or an Ajax framework (preferably JQuery)?
Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.
A bit of my research:
-I found this---but havent figured out how to implement it in my scenario:

how can I make simple mouseover image tooltip on the little cubic image in the first column of every row - when it's mouseovered, the image of current book, which is in that row, should be in tooltip.The name of every the image in folder "slike" is exactly the same name as the value of "slike" in xml for every book(knjiga)!
I'm failing to get a pure CSS way to achieve this, so trying JS. Several small images in a row, each different. Want mouseover to:
1. change each image to different image on mouseover (each image has its own mouseover image version).
2. produce different paragraph of text below row of images on each mouseover.
I can achieve it with mouseover on text links or on an image, but not with the two events, viz mouseover image swap + mouseover text swap. Would also want to be able to style the text.
I've been using dreamwevaer to automatically do rollovers for me, and i dont really understand them that much, but i need to create a rollover image which when hovered another image would appear to the right of it. Would anyone know how this is done?
I am trying to put an image on the front page of my website that changes to one of two random images on mouseover. This part was easy, and has been done (I got the code from [URL] But what I am finding difficult is to make each image link to a different page. For example, if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs up' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs up' page. And if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs down' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs down' page. The site is here: [URL] I think using 2 arrays is the way to go, but am not sure.
My jQuery is set up so that when I click on a thumbnail, a div opens up with the bigger image. I also want the thumbnail of the next image to appear in the same div. So if I click the cat, I want to see the large cat and the pig thumb. How do I tell it that I want the next IMG inside the next A inside the next LI?
I have an issue where I have a background image wrapped within an A tag and upon hover I want a different image displayed which is a few pixels larger.This is for an intranet so needs to be IE6 compatible
I'm using joomla to build a website and I'm stuck to the point where the user is supposed to click a thumbnail and load the large image into a div where it shows another image. The code I have now is below and I'm sure something is very wrong:Here's the jQuery code:
var $j = jQuery.noConflict(); $j("a").click(function() { $j("#imageBox").html($j("<img>").attr("src", this.href));
[code]....
How am I supposed to load the image from the link to the div?
I have a table with 2 colums, the left column is to preview image and the right column is for 4 small thumbnails. Iwant the preview picture to change when clicked on the individual thumbnail.
I'm woking on a simple image replacement thumbnail gallery using jQuery and am trying to get each image to fadeIn when the thumbnail is clicked. My (stripped down) code looks like this so far:
I would like to create a photo page using 'rollovers' however am finding it increasingly hard to find any information.
I would like it to display around 10 thumbnails all leading to one big picture so when you hover over the image with the mouse it displays the picture in big.
I have searched the net, however have only found info on 'rollovers' for one image.
