Mouseover Popup Image - Not Working?
Feb 11, 2011I am trying to add the functionality of having a mouseover popup image with multiple different popup images. I have found the code seen below and altered it for my uses and was hoping to find out if someone can tell me why I am seeing the same image with each mouseover.

Mouseover Thumbnail = Full Image Popup?
Oct 21, 2009i'm making a clothing website and i was just wondering.. if i have a bunch of thumbnail sized images on the page atm, how would i go about so if people put their mouse over the thumbnail, it would load the full sized T-shirt? I obviously have the images on my computer and host for the Thumbnails and the Real-image sized shirts.

Open Popup Window With Image?
Jun 23, 2009I need to make a image open a popup window, I know how to do it like this:

then on the link just have it go to javascript:load2()
But I have a ton of different links and don't want a bunch of code in the beginning of my pages. Is there a way to make the first part just the dimensions of the new window but then when I actually make the link, I could put where I want it to link to? Like javascript:load2(pictures).

However, when clicking on the image it opens up in a whole new window.Pathetic sitelock.com will offer no support in getting this in a popup window.I need some help please in getting this to open in a popup window that I can resize to any size I want and to only have the address bar showing up top, no toolbars or anything else.My website is in joomla and I have a plugin called 'sourcerer' that will allow me to insert code anywhere i want.Here is the code that sitelock.com gave me:

Mouseover Image Effect Thumbnail To Large Image Different Location On Page
Oct 27, 2009I have gotten my script to do exactly what I want it to do with one exception. I have some thumbnail images that people can mouse over and the actual image is 100px by 75px. That is what I use for my thumbnail and they reside in www.website.com/images/thumbs/image1.jpg. I have the large version of the image that resides in www.website.com/images/image1.jpg. Its actual size is 640px by 480. When I mouse over my thumbnail, I don't want the thumbnail to appear for the larger image, I want the large image to appear instead? Let me know if you need ellaboration.

Jul 3, 2003I'm creating a tabbed menu navigation for a site. I'm using javascript to to give the tabs a mouseover effect. I also have a function that decides whether the tab has been selected or deselected by the user, and uses that info to determine which image file to use in the img swap.
The page works fine in IE 6, however in Netscape 6.2, when I mouseover the tabs, a thin border quickly flashes around each image as it swaps. It looks like the placeholder that's displayed for a broken image in IE, only with only the border and no red "x". I'm not sure why this is happening, as all the images have been preloaded.
The markup is XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Here's the js I'm using:

Mar 25, 2010I've tried the tutorials but I have never worked well with those -- I've always found it easier to actually be working with someone. But anyway. Basically, I need something sort of like this [URL] -- you click the thumbnail and the image appears in that predetermined spot. One thing, though: the images have to layer over each other. Like, you click image A, and it appears in the spot. You click image B, and it appears on top of image A. It'd be even better if when you clicked Image A it appeared and then you clicked image A again and it disappeared, but I'm going to try to start small.
I've gone through the tutorials and have a sort of ish understanding about what some of the parts of the codes do, and I've been told I'm a fast-ish learner, so I think I'll catch the hang of this quick.

You know when you click the file option in your browser's toolbar, and a drop down menu appears? It can be just like that, but instead of save as and open, links will be there to places within our intranet opened in a new window. This has to work for IEX 7+ because that's all our company decides to use. I tried to submit a chang erequest for them to move to a better CSS/Javascript supportive browser such as Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome... but they're way too fixed on IEX for some odd reason.*edit* colors dont matter. It can be the default colors used in a basic drop down menu. I figure javascript would have more options though.

Jul 26, 2010I'm trying to use javascript to load an image on a webpage when another image is clicked on, just like an image gallery and just like this except I don't need any text: [URL] I copied the example above but when I click on the smaller image to load the larger one it works for a fraction of a second (I can see the image load in the right spot), but then the browser goes to the URL of the image instead (showing it on a blank page).

Dec 3, 2005I used an image map because i have 5 bracelets in one picture, all with different styles. I created the mouseover images so that when your mouse is over one of them, that bracelet will highlight and show the name of the style. But the mouseovers are not working at all.
All the .gif have been uploaded into a sub folder named bracelets. I do not want and ALT tag or an onclick, an no link associated to each bracelet. Code:
DIV Disappears On Image Map Mouseover?
Aug 24, 2011I have a map with hotspots, and when you hover over a hot spot, a hidden DIV appears. The only problem I'm having now is getting the DIV to remain open while I move my mouse from the hotspot to the DIV. As soon as I move my mouse away from the hotspot, the DIV disappears. I need to put links in the DIVs, and users will need to be able to move their mouse away from the hotspot to click on the link, but currently can't.
I experimented with setTimeout, but didn't get too far. I really need to get this working.
