JQuery :: Counting The Number Of Times The Same Image Appears?

I have a need to count how many time the image ok.png is displayed within a div. this is for a dynamic sys req. check where 1 of three images will be shown in a row. If the endusers browser doesnt meet certain req, it will show either an alert, question or an ok.png.I need to know how many oks there are, specifically I need to check that all five images are the ok.png so I can show the rest of the content.I am able to get the number of images with a simple var totalgreen = $("#wrap img").length; But im stuck after that.

I have created a script that checks through fields in a cmc and finds any opening and closing divs. What i want to do it count the number of times the opening/closing div appears in a field.

I'm trying to display the same image several times using javascript. It can range anywhere from 0 to about 50. I'll also have its' location determined by the user click and each image will timeout after a short period of time. I figure i'll have to create a new object for each image that is added and remove it after it times out, but my problem is I dont know how to tell the HTML code inside the <body> tag to display the same image for each click I make.

I am trying to figure out how to make a random number I can plug into a script count down from that number at certain times of the day until it reaches 0. I would like it to reset itself at midnight every day. I'm trying to make it work with a script I found on here that resets itself at midnight every day. So instead of it counting down too fast, it would count down to the next number after a randomly generated number of minutes until it reaches 0. But it wouldn't necessarily have to end at 0 at midnight. It could go from 845 to 323 at the end of the day at a slower pace. Is that possible?

I can do this using Java, Vb.Net or C# .. Now, I am currently studying javascript but I don't know how to do this... I want a looping number, the number will start at 200 and it must end at 900, the loop format is like a.. from 200 it must increment but 1 every second and stop when it reach the 900, the counter must start when the page is loading or after loading.

I just want to create an array of numbers counting from 1 to a given number.
At the moment I have the for loop running like this:

This outputs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
How can I put this output into this variable: 'var ids' so I get out

It would be nice to be able to sort plugins by the number of times voted on. I know you can see how many times it has been voted on after you go to the detail page but it would be helpful to get that info as a sort field on the "Most Popular Plugins" page because then you could tell wether a 5 star has been voted on once or a 1000 times. I personally would rather get a 3 1/2 starred plugin voted on 1000 times then a 5 star voted on once by the developer. Don't get me wrong I would vote 5 stars on my plugin too.

I have a function that I call a variable number of times and I need to know when the calls have *all* been completed. How would I build that? As I understand the deferreds, the $.when syntax is as follows:
$.when(dfrd_func1('a'), dfrd_func2('b'),
dfrd_func3('c')).done( function() {
console.log("All Done");} );
will send "All done" to the console once each of the functions are complete.
So, I have the *same* function that I need to call a variable number of times with different parameters, i.e. :
$.when(dfrd_func('a'), dfrd_func('b'), dfrd_func('c'), ...).done(function() {console.log("All Done")});
So, is my approach wrong? Is there some way to build an array of functions that could be executed?

I have a table of ingredients and a number of times they appear in a product. The table looks something like this:

I was wondering if anybody can provide me with high level suggestions as to how to do the following in javascript.I want to record the number of times a piece of javascript is run across multiple disparate machines.To do this I was thinking that the javascript should open javascript a webpage every time it is run. I can then count how many times that webpage has been called which in turn will be the number of times the javascipt has run. However I don't want the webpage to open in the users machine as this will be really annoying for the user.if you can think of a better way to complete the overall goal.

I have a JavaScript function for swapping the values of rows in a table. I have a hidden field in each row to carry a record ID. As I switch the rows the function will update the hidden field but doesn't do it correctly if I switch a number of rows. I dynamically set the values to switch when the page loads but how can I change these values when the rows are moved.The idea is to change the order of a recordset by clicking on an up or down arrow and then save the values on the record id and sort order, the two hidden fields in each row.

The fade effect on IE causes that the image shadow.png appears black on border for a while, fade effect is too uggly, firefox and safari works fine. Now I have to set fade=0 only to support IE7.

I am using a very simple search-type page to enable users to input a model number and its page appears in a inline frame. Its not a true search as it is simply relying on a person entering the correct html page name to find it. But this works perfectly in my application.The problem I have is that I cannot get the type box to accept enter key as a submitt, only a click of the mouse will submitt the request. If enter is pressed the box loses the users input but no action is taken.I think this may be a javascript issue. I have posted the code below.

I'm creating a tabbed menu navigation for a site. I'm using javascript to to give the tabs a mouseover effect. I also have a function that decides whether the tab has been selected or deselected by the user, and uses that info to determine which image file to use in the img swap.
The page works fine in IE 6, however in Netscape 6.2, when I mouseover the tabs, a thin border quickly flashes around each image as it swaps. It looks like the placeholder that's displayed for a broken image in IE, only with only the border and no red "x". I'm not sure why this is happening, as all the images have been preloaded.
The markup is XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Here's the js I'm using:
