View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working with a template I purchased that will loop a series of header images. I like to stop the image series from going back to the beginning once the series of images cycles through.
For instance, if there were 3 images in the sequence; currently the script cycles through all 3 images and then starts from the beginning. I would like the script to stop on the last image (so that image stays displayed) and not start the sequence again from the beginning. I couldn't get any support for hacking this script from the developers.
I have this loading.gif image that is 750px, when it should be 32px. The reason it's huge now is because my original solution was displaying two images: one 750px version of the loading.gif image and one 32px version (in the center of the 750px) of the same image. Now I'm at least down to one image, even if it's the wrong version.Click any of the thumbnail images here, and then again on the thumbnail at the top of that popup product gallery to see what I mean: need that huge loading.gif to be 32px like it should be, and then expand to 750px once the image is loaded. I've tried a bunch of solutions, but nothing has solved the problem.This is the code I have at the moment, although I'm working on the issue now so it may change.

I have created a party-events website. Which displays a lot of dates of events. As you might understand this page takes some time to load. Therefor I want some of loading image to be displayed while the page is loading. Anybody has an idea how to pull this of? I don't know how.
In detail: People come to my website. They click on "events" and a loading.gif pops up and and makes the background darker. After the page has completely loaded the loading image disappears and the website shows.

View 5 Replies View Relateddo the following: I have a thumbnail image that on rollover swaps to another image. At the same time i want to do a fade out/fade in animation between the images. Most of it is working but when the page loads for the first time there is no swaping of the image but just a fast opactity effect on the first image. Then if i try the rollover for the second time it does work as expected. Is it because the image that im loading doesn't load fast enough and the whole animation onRollover doesn't happen? I also have a problem when Rollover fast on the thumbnails. It just stays on the second image but doesn't go back to the first original image? For some reason the animation gets confused between the Rollover and Rollout states. Here is a link to see the example

I have just changed the original HTML and CSS then just barely touched the JavaScript to edit the width, height and the different image urls. As you can see in the sample URL below only 1 image is being loaded and rotated.[URL]

As such the images/javascript effects take a little while to load.Basically i'd want an animated gif to act as a loading image and then once the website has completed loading the whole page fades in (this includes all images, text, javascript functions etc etcI can do it when loading an image but am stuck with how to do it for say a whole website.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to create an animated gif that is shown during the content of my page is loading - in order to do so, I created 2 div-containers one with an id of loadingbar (default: display:block and including my img src....) and the other with an id of main_cont(default:display:none and including my content which consists out of some huge images for testing purpose)
so I thought all the magic would be:

i have following problem: When the user on my website presses a image link, I prevent the default behaviour, and toggle some table rows (show or hide them, depending on the the image src (closed.gif / opened.gif)). Since I got a lot of rows I run over and toggle, the function takes some time to process and the browser "hangs" in the meanwhile. Due to this I want to show the user that the operation is still in progress and want to change the image of the link to a load spinner until it is finished. So I thought that I just have to change the src URL of the image in advance and then start the function, but jQuery is ignoring the line and I don't know why? Here is the code I am using:

I've created a jQuery canvas slideshow to apply image an filter while running the slideshow. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I apply the filter to the image, the slideshow doesn't load other slides and keeps loading the same slide. To have a look at the problem follow the link: [URL].
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've implemented a photo gallery using Galleria and jCarousel on my site, and have chosen to use custom thumbnails instead of having Galleria generate them for me from the source images.
As far as I can tell, there may be an advantage in conserving bandwidth with this method, but the page also degrades to a nice set of thumbnails that link to the larger images (which is very nice, IMO).
Everything works beautifully, however when viewing this gallery for the first time, instead of the large image fading in nicely as it does in the Galleria demo, it almost kind of "slides" the image into view like it's rendering pieces of it as it loads in the container. This is definitely an effect i would like to avoid, but I also thought that one of the benefits of Galleria was that it pre-loaded images in the background, right?
So why does my gallery appear to be loading these images "on-demand"?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to apply stop() to a function which cycles an animation.The animation changes the background by fading in, pausing, and fading out a background div.For smooth effect the animation needs to stop on completion of the fade out.

I have a text box where a user can press enter, tab (keypress) or click out of it (focusout) and an action happens. The box then gets removed. The problem is, the user presses enter, but that event is fired and then as the text box is removed the focus out is firing again.
How do I prevent removing the text box from firing the focusout action? I can remove the action totally but the text box could be returned to the document later.

But since I'm using it for multiple instances, is there a way to have this time out after a few seconds? Or stop it so that it doesn't have multiple instances running at the same time?
