JQuery :: OnClick Prompt With Buttons For 'Ok' Or 'Cancel' Without A Plugin?

I'm sure this is really simple, but I can't figure out how to prompt a user before they delete an entry in my database-driven website.
I have this:

alert("Are you sure you want to delete this entry?");
});
But the only option there is 'Ok'. I need to set this up with a 'Cancel' option as well, but don't want to use a plugin like Impromptu to do so as it's overkill.

Doing web page with ASP/VB.NET. Have text boxes for UI on page. Two command buttons - Submit (for db update) and Cancel. I need the Cancel button to prompt the user to verify cancellation. Need OK/Cancel buttons on alert. If user selects Cancel-no action. If user selects OK then I want the text boxes cleared of user text input and focus returned to first text box. I think this may be the code but do not know how to apply it.

I have a password script that prompts users for a password, the script works perfect, however, when you click on cancel, it begins the loop again and you can't exit the prompt unless you know the password. It's an internal site so I don't care if it's not that secure. What first occurs is the user clicks on the submit button in a text form, when that occurrs, the password prompt apears, I need the user to be able to click on the cancel button, which will also cancel the submit request and then gets redirected to the same site, like a refresh. I'm not that great with if and else statements, so it may be the problem, or I may need a entire new script.

I'm trying to make a code for something on a forum. It will prompt the user for a yes or cancel, then save a cookie with their answer. Then the next time the script is called, it will check for the cookie. If there is one saved, it won't prompt and use that value.
Here's my breakdown (hope this is right)
1. Have a popup box that prompt for a 'yes' or 'cancel'

2. Save a cookie with the answer. I really don't have a clue other than the fact that you use setCookie(name, value, expire). I'm guessing that there will need to be something special in the value section.
3. When the script is loaded, it will check for the cookie saved and do whatever was save. Again, I know I'll need the getCookie function, but I don't know what else.

I've found articles/posts on creating custom confirm pops utilizing hidden <div> etc,
but adding 40 odd lines of code just to offer Yes or No buttons seems absurd.
Short of creating a complete confirmation div and script, is it possible
to EASILY change the button values of a confirmation pop-up?
For Example, "There is a related value not selected in the form.
Would you like to select it now?"

I don't want to use the cancel button functionality of the ratings plugin (version 3.12) so I don't want it showing in front of the stars. I was expecting to find a configuration setting for this, but didn't (did I miss it)? I added a line [control.cancel.hide()] to the draw() function in the source code on line 256 which did the trick, but I was wondering if there is a better way to do this (preferably through configuration)? My source code now looks like this:

I have a problem to add confirmation function to my script. I have a table with data from database. "Delete" button is in each row of table to delete whole row from database (based on ID).I need to after click on "Delete" button there was confirmation to delete it or cancel. I should warn, i know almost nothing about javascript. i've been trying read sample scripts and examples on how to modify this script; but I just don't know enough. I have a script that pulls data from an array, and copies it directly to the clipboard when a user clicks on it. The problem is this only works in IE, because Firefox doesn't by default allow that to happen. I'm trying to change it so that when it is clicked, instead, it takes what was going to be copied to the clipboard, and puts it in a Prompt box for the user to copy and paste. I had other scripts that do that, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to learn from it!

i have a page with an iframe. once an item is deleted from the iframe, i need the main page refreshed.its seems like i can only delete or refresh, but not do both actions together. let me further explain. The confirmation popup message does appear and the refresh is done, but the file is not deleted. if i just use confirmation() on the onclick, it deletes the selected file, but if i use (confirmation(),refreshPage()) the file isn't deleted if they click yes. but the page is refreshed.

I have a form with several submit buttons. I've used $(#myform).ajaxForm(options) method to make the form submittable with ajax. the problem is that no matter what button I click the form data is the same and <input type="submit"> element is not included into the form data, as if it were not a "successul control". so at this point form doesn't work as expected. is there a way to convey information of which button was clicked with the form plugin?

Safari 4.0.5 and FF 3.6.3 have this problem IE and Chrome are ok The first time when i click the link, two instances of close button shows. If during the same load, i click on another item, the previous clue tip hides and the new one shows with only one close button (right behavior). Image attached. Property closePosition "top and bottom" both have this behavior. closePosition value "title" only shows one close button but it is not clickable.

I am using an ASP panel for a 3 step registration, on the page I have used jQuery to validate the form (#form1)

The validation works as expected but regardless of whether the form is valid or not, the button takes me to the next panel. I think what I need to do is add something to the jQuery that will run "btn_P1_Next_Click" but only when form1 is valid, otherwise it will keep me on the same panel. Also within the jQuery I would need to account for the current panel, e.g. so if I am on panel1 then run "btn_P1_Next_Click", on panel2 run"btn_P2_Next_Click"...

I have a row of buttons that are made by innerhtml using this code:

the function can only run once, so the idea is that the button either runs it the first time or reloads the page.
at the moment, the way it's working is that the button that's clicked changes its value to "Reload Page" but the others keep their original value, even though it reloads if you click them.
So I'd like a way to change the value of the rest of the buttons when one is clicked. Is that possible?

to be able to make the default onclick event for the buttons on my page
to display an alert since the buttons won't work yet. Is there an easy

I have a form that has multiple radio button groups to allow the customer to build a custom product. I just want to figure out how to send all the CHECKED radio buttons (name="flexikits[1]", name="flexikits[2]", ect.. ) when the customer changes just one of the radio buttons. The goal of this is so I can update the price for the KIT right then.
I am easily able to set the onClick for each radio and have it send that particular radio button, just no clue how to send more.
