Jquery :: Cluetip Plugin - Duplicate Close Buttons Showing?

Safari 4.0.5 and FF 3.6.3 have this problem IE and Chrome are ok The first time when i click the link, two instances of close button shows. If during the same load, i click on another item, the previous clue tip hides and the new one shows with only one close button (right behavior). Image attached. Property closePosition "top and bottom" both have this behavior. closePosition value "title" only shows one close button but it is not clickable.

I've been using the most recent version of cluetip 0.9.9.c and I have overridden error function in the cluetip, but I was wondering how I
can hide the actual cluetip? I tried $(this).isActive = false but this didn't work.

Basically I got a check in the error function that checks whether to show the error or redirect to the login page in case I have forms
authentication. So how can I hide the tooltip?

I am using a jquery plug in cluetip.Link is given below. [URL]it is working well.Here the Clue tips is closed only by either click the close button or leave mouse out from it.I want to close the same clue tip by a javascript function.ie when I call aother function , i need to close this clue tip.So how can I do it.When I use a modalbox, I could close the modalbox by calling a function like $.modal.close().Is there any function for it ?I found a function cluetipClose(); in its js script. But when I called it from outside it is not working.

I have installed the jQuery cycle plugin onto my website and I am looking for some information on how to duplicate part of the plugin.I am looking to have this type of image slide but I am wanting two of the navigation bars in the same area.

With my very limited knowledge of both jQuery and JS i made a small script (with a little help) that duplicates a tablerow when a button is clicked. This works like a charm, however, i would like to add a datepicker to it. This also works well, but just once and not on the copied fields or visa versa. It's probably because the datepicker "thinks" there is just one field.I found several sources to solve the problem, but again, with my newbie knowledge, it's just to hard. I am playing with this for almost two days and can't get it solved.

I have this code which when you click the delete button of a particular row, it shows up the div .delete over that particular row, and when clicking on the cancel button on the .delete div, it'll close that the .delete row revealing the .row div again (the .row div doesn't actually hide, I handle the overlay with z-index). However, I want it so that if one .delete div is already shown I want it to close it before revealing a new .delete div, so you can never have 2 .delete divs open at any given time. ere's my code at the moment:

Using the very good and efficient jquery cycle plugin. I'm using the implementation to show 2 images at a time, using the code below:

<image 2>

<image 3>
<image 4>
</div>
However is it possible to scoll 1 item at a time but show 2 images, so at first show image 1 and image 2, then scroll left and have image 2 and image 3 show and then scroll left and have image 3 and image 4 show.

I've used the cycle plugin on several Wordpress sites and it works great, except that when I run it the background is visible between transitions. Instead of a smooth fade between images, there is a long pause between images. Even when I use the default values, there is still a noticeable delay between the slides.

I'm using the most basic functionality of the Fancybox plugin. All renders fine in FF 3.5.9 & Chrome 4. Wouldn't you know it, IE 7 has a problem, it does not display the close box and doesn't honor the location of the title. You can see the problem here: [URL]

Exclamation Javascript problem with submit buttons placed close to each other.there are two buttons which have been called by a javascript here. Both have been coded to redirect to different pages. However, when I hover my mouse on the Regret button it automatically highlights both buttons and when I click regret it redirects to the page where the Confirm button is supposed to redirect. The Confirm button itself is working fine and taking me to the desired page. where the problem is with the Regret button. Basically each button should redirect only to where it is supposed to as I've specified in the Javascript code.

I would like to open an overlay DIV onclick or onload, much like thickbox or shadowbox does. Here's the hard part - I would like to have it animate and shrink it to the top right corner of the page when the popup is closed. The reason for this is so that the user will know how to get that popup window back open. The popup will animate and minimize to the top right of the page, where the button to re-open the popup (ie. overlay) will be located.
[url]- I would like the "current issue" graphic to be clickable and open the "subscribe" popup with an animation to zoom it from 0 to full size and center it on the page.

I have a monthly listings calendar for a nightclub and need to make web-flayers appear when the user scrolls over each particular date. I'm trying this Cycle Plugin, but whenever I load, lets say I have 5 images in the rotation pool, they all show up (briefly) whenever the page reloads, and then they dissapear (starting the rotation). Is there any way to avoid this? The images I'm using are 960 x 220, so it pretty much fills the screen before it hides.

I'm using the jQuery form validation plugin along with the fileinput plugin which hides the initial input area, but uses <divs> and some styling /javascript to show the file input field.The issue I am having, is that the 'this field is required' text that is meant to show on submission, doesn't come up for the file input field, nor some checkboxes that I have in a table. I am guessing that this is because the code is needing the label to be RIGHT next to the element (in this case the file input or the checkbox) in order for the validation message to show..Are there any work arounds that anyone knows of so that I can get the error message to show?Is there a way to show the error message for required fields when they have a div wrapping them or anything wrapping them?

I'm new to javascript and im trying to add a close button function to my certain pages of my site. I use this code:

to create a hyperlink which closes the window. However with pages which
display data retrieved from a database using PHP i use a form to submit
a search on the page which displays results. At the bottom of the page
is the close window link, however it fails to work once a form has been
submitted on the page. It only works when the page first loads.
Any ideas guys on how i can get a close window option that works on my
results page after submitting a search?

I have a form with several submit buttons. I've used $(#myform).ajaxForm(options) method to make the form submittable with ajax. the problem is that no matter what button I click the form data is the same and <input type="submit"> element is not included into the form data, as if it were not a "successul control". so at this point form doesn't work as expected. is there a way to convey information of which button was clicked with the form plugin?

I'm sure this is really simple, but I can't figure out how to prompt a user before they delete an entry in my database-driven website.
I have this:

But the only option there is 'Ok'. I need to set this up with a 'Cancel' option as well, but don't want to use a plugin like Impromptu to do so as it's overkill.

Just discovered ClueTip and it looks exactly what I need. However, I have a question about how to implement it.I have the following bit of code where I create a <div>. I'd like to attached a ClueTip tooltip to each div I create.Here is my code to create a div. I actually create many divs in a loop via an ajax call to retrieve info from a database...so, the id name and coordinates are retrieved and the new div is appended to a enclosing <div> named "jpanel".

I've just downloaded cluetip 1.1.3. After opening index.html in the demos folder with Chrome 12.0.742, I've noticed that when the ajax tooltips popup they don't contain any content. The other tooltips (title and local tooltips) work fine. I've tried opening the demos in IE8 and all the tooltips are displayed fine. Strangely, when I try the demos on the official page [URL] using Chrome everything works fine.
