JQuery :: How To Focus Or Autoselect Tab After Validation

While loading this JSP page I got the Tab 1 (Default selected) & Tab 2 view.
Scenario : I have a save button which is common to both the tabs. I entered some input fields in Tab 1 and trying to save the page. I am doing a validation in java script save button which checks the values in Tab 2... if it is empty I want to focus the Tab 2 to user.
Tried : For this scenario I tried $('#container-1').tabs(2);
after my java script validation alert. Its not throwing any script error as well not working...

Mar 15, 2011I'm using a jquery autocomplete (plugin v 1.1) in an older application. It works fine. I'm now writing a new one and I'm using the jquery ui 1.4.4 version of autocomplete. In the 1.1 version, if I typedizzaand the only match in the resulting list waspizza, thenpizzawould be highlighted and clickingenterwould select pizza. The newer version will not do this.Pizzawill show up alone in the list but I still have to arrow down, or click it to select it. Is this a lost feature or is there a property that activates'auto-select'?

My current state can be found at http:[url]....The checkbox is not being enabled with my approach. I can enable the checkbox if I explicitly set scrollTop to a value, but then I'm not able to scroll anymore at all. So I am guessing it probably has to do with the scroll check not working properly.

Jan 19, 2010In a form, I have multiple checkboxes which represent products whose values are the product prices and names are the product names. When a user clicks submit the next page processes it for cart/purchase purposes.
I need to pass the names of each checkbox to the next page as an array, and it seemed the best way to accomplish this would be to have a hidden input which automatically generates that array in the page then gets passed to the next (via POST) so the application can manipulate the data.
My server-side language is PHP on Codeigniter.

Based on them being checked I need to add that value to an input (which will be hidden) to be passed as a form parameter. The input they are added to is wrapped in xml tags. Currently it is simply overwriting each value, not adding them to the string. One value "IKNTK" needs to be passed regardless.

Using an alert the cookie text looks fine but when I go to retrieve the values the only one it can find is the value for user. I've a few different things and none of them seem to work. Oct 21, 2010I have the checkbox validation. I have it set onClick, this works perfectly with both the mouse click and also if the space bar is used to select the option, which is great. However if a user simply 'tabs' over the option it doesn't validate real time. The solution I came up with was adding a onKeyDown event to trigger the same function.
