newBox.setAttribute("class","custom");

But I need to change the type of the button to "button". Every time I try to change the type to either "button" or "submit" my browser just freezes. but If I change the button type to reset it works fine. Is there another way to change the type other than button.type = "" and button.setAttribute("type","")?

Dec 1, 2010I want to create a custom radio button. Basically I would like an image to act like a radio button. When selected the image border changes to highlight it. When a different image is selected it's border becomes highlighted and the previous selected image's border returns to normal. Only one image may be selected at a time. A value would then be passed in the form when submitted. I am wanting it to act like the way in print preview you can select the page orientation (portrait or landscape) by selecting the appropriate icon.
This is the code I came up with. It seems to work well but I thought someone here might know a better way to do this. To test subsitute your own images with file paths.

Aug 13, 2009I was able to edit it and then download the personalized altered code. BUT I can't figure out how to edit it to get the information to submit to me. I really need to get their resume and information. I dont know if it should submit to my webspace or my email. Email would be easier but either is fine so long as I can read them. When I downloaded the zip file for the application form included a CSS, Images and Scripts folder also an index html page. In the Scripts folder was a file titled wufoo.js which I think I read right to be JavaScript. You have to pay a montly fee to wufoo.com inorder to have your form information sent to them.

Dec 23, 2007I am trying to put together a proof of concept. What I am trying to prove is that a back button affect can be accomplished using DHTML and an IFrame. Here is the concept, as the user changes data, that data can be written to an IFrame. Then, when the user hits the back button, contents can be taken from the IFrame using history.back() since the IFrame should remember the content written to it just like a page would.
Here is my problem. The below code writes the content entered into the text box into the IFrame. But when I click the button to execute the history.back(), the value returned is undefined.
I think my problem might be that the code which writes the contents of the text box to the IFrame is doing that dynamically, so the page is not caching it. If this is correct, how can I write the dynamically entered content from the text box to the IFrame so it can be cached by the IFrame window? Code:
