How can i add a function to all links which share a same class on page read? I want to add this addClassSub(); to all the links with a class name 'sub'.

I found a jquery image slideshow script but the images have no links to them. When I manually add the links to the image urls, these work only in IE - when I click next, the picture updates and is linked to the correct URL. In other browsers (Firefox, Chrome..), the last url becomes the clickable link for all the images. I have tried to use the .wrap option and I'm sure I'm on the right track, except I have 4 images and I want it to go to 4 different urls.it sought of works, but only the first url is picked up and becomes the link for all the images.How can I get the link reference for the url to iterate with the original loop of the image?

On my website, I have random logos appear on the home page as products that I recommend. I would like to make these logos into links to the website they are from, so that when one clicks on the picture, it directs you to the site, but I can't quite get it to work, and I know very little about Javascript (as you may know from my previous question about Javascript).

I know I need to add an array with the website links, but then I'm not sure how to implement it into the html, I've tried various things I've found on here but I'm not getting anywhere on my own. I know it's something pretty simple (for someone who knows what they're doing) but I just can't seem to grasp it.

I'm working with a javascript/jquery framework that allows me to build crossbrowser plugins.What i'm looking to do is add a floating DIV onto every page the browser loads. I know that to add css onto a page, normally you need to grab a class or id. However, in this case i do not know what classes/div's are available.What would be the best way to add css onto a loaded page after the page is loaded without knowing any classes/id's?

I think I may be way off here, and or trying to do something bizarre, but what I am trying to do is change only part of the the url for all of the links on a page. So say I want to change:
href="/something/something/all"
to
href="/something/something/specific"
I think I need to use each() in combination with attr but I am not exactly sure how. This is what I have so far (with no luck):

$(this).attr('href').replace('all','specific');

I've successfully changed part of a single link based of it's enclosing div id, but if there is more than one link in the div, it replaces the entire href of all the other links in that div to be the same as the first one. So that's why I think I need to use each(). But again, I'm not sure how to do this properly in this case.

However, my code only seems to work in Firebug after everything has rendered. I assume that the links are changes when the Document is Ready but before the server address is attached to the links.
what I want to learn to do is have a feature on my website: [URL] where under the portfolio section there are multiple links (product, packaging, identity etc) I want different carousels to show up on the .index page when you click a certain one of those links. In old school HTML I believe you would use a frame but I know there is a better way to do it using jQuery. [URL](work section) does exactly how I want it to be except I don't need the fancybox feature.

then an alert(document.getElementById('testDiv').style.display) will of course give you "block." But, if you give the element a property through an external CSS file, the same alert comes up empty!
This is causing me big problems as I've discovered and is ridiculous. Can javascript read properties from external CSS sheets?
