I want to activate an image slider that is placed in a div loaded through an Ajax request. I'm using the JQuery Plugin Anythingslider. I've tried to use code similar to this without success:[URL].. The slide script works if loaded together with main page.But how do I activate a slider placed in a div that has been loaded through an Ajax request?

Ok save it and test it out. I am writing this kinda fast so if it doesn't work pm me or reply to this topic. Ok we will go over what it does now.
1. First it gives you the prompt name then age. It checks whether they are both filled in and if they aren't it says to reload. Otherwise it writes down the link. Next we will go over the link.
2. Here is the infrastructure of the link.

3. The tag that defines a javascript page and its name is dp. "javascript:dp"

I'm using jquery/ajax to create some links with window.open method. Here's the relevant code:

Basically, when you click a link a function is called with a parameter based on the particular link you run. Then the code runs through an xml file, and if the parent of the nodes I've cyling through has a value equal to the parameter past to the function, that node is used to create a new link with window.open function attached to it.It all works, or seems to, and when I alert what is being built, it looks right to me, yet the links don't work.I've attached a copy of one of the alerts of one of the links as it's built.
I searched, but couldn't find answers--probably because I'm not sure what this is called... Anyway, I have about 50 web pages and I want to have some JavaScript that will read in a list of keywords, scan the web page and create links on any of those keywords... Is there any way to
do this sort of thing?
I'll admit to being a newbie with JQuery, XML and Ajax. I'm trying to create a page which pulls dynamic links from an XML file. Here is the page: [URL] Here is the link to the xml file: [URL] I can get the url to pull as text, but I cannot make it into a link, no matter what I seem to try. I'm sure it's a syntax error - but I just don't know enough to know what it is. I'm also going to need to pull a URL for an image, and I am guessing that the process is similar.

I am working on a page that will load in other pages using AJAX and the .html method. Something like this :

Unfortunately this does not seem to work, entirely. It does trigger the click event but it messes up the post for some reason. I have played around with it for the last 45 minutes or so and it seems like the click event trigger is what is messing things up, if I comment it out it works fine. When the index.html page loads up, the page01.html loads into #mainview. And when I try to click on the <div id="clickme">Click Me!</div> inside page01.html to load page02.html, nothing works. Just can't figure out what's wrong...

There is no HTML for the thumbnails; they are generated via .js. Can this be done? .js file attached.
Better yet, if it's not too difficult, I would love to switch out the text with some cool .js code so all the functionality could be contained within this single page, instead of linking to individual HTML pages (like when you click another thumbnail, the text slides up and out of sight, and the new text slides up from the bottom to replace the former text) but I fear this may be over my head. It's very similar to Multi-Tab functions of Firefox/IE, when opening a page in one tab, then any links in that Tab will open in another new tab(after setup from pref), i want to know this principle(how to implement this). After deployment, sometimes access server, the page was load incomplete, such as logo image (.gif) disappeared, and JavaScript error appeared. But after press on Refresh button from browser (IE), the page is loaded completed, all images are loaded and the JavaScript is gone.
