JQuery :: Select - Unselect Radio Buttons
Jun 15, 2009I have a very long form full of items that the user rates from 1 to 3. There may be 100 items that the user needs to rate. For each item to rate they are given three radio buttons for 1, 2 or 3 for them to choose from. Now initially all the radio buttons are unchecked, but each item to rate is required. So this process can take quite a bit of time having to check each radio button. I need a way at the top of the form to have three master radio buttons for 1, 2 and 3 to where if they click 1 it will select/deselect all of the radio buttons for the rating 1 and the same for 2 and 3. I would like to work off of the CSS class selecter for this so I will be giving the radio buttons classes of "radio1", "radio2" and "radio3". What's the best way to go about this?

What I want to know is that how is it suppose to be coded so that the user can only select the same amount of buttons as the number from the drop down menu? For example if the user selects the number 3 from the dropdown menu, then if the user clicks on a button, it will highlight the button in a color (lets say green) but the user can only have three buttons selected. If an additional button is clicked then that button would not be selected.
The additional button can only be selected if the user unselects a selected button and then selects the button he wishes. This means that only 3 buttons can be selected at maximum. Also only 3 buttons minimum can be selected, if more or less buttons are selected than the number 3 then it should come up with an alert. Is this suppose to be done in Javascript or Jquery and how can I use css to change the color of the buttons to green if selected or back to grey if unselected?

Select 2 Images To Display Without Drop Down
Feb 7, 2010New to Javascripting, new to forum. I searched the forum, and tried to adapt, to no avail. I am building a store and want users to be able to see how two items look together. I have it working, but it uses a drop down. I would like to display many items and have the user click on one "image", from the display of "top" images, to display it on top, and from another section of "bottom" images, click another image to display it on bottom. Nov 28, 2011I need to create a page containing five image tags, two buttons, a <select> and a <textarea>. The images tags will each contain a picture of one of six possible outcomes for the dice portraying the numbers one through six..
The first button: When the user clicks on the button, all dice are rolled once. For each die when rolled, the src of its image tag is replaced with a random one of six possible pictures -- each picture being chosen with equal probability (1/6).... I HAVE THIS DONE
The select: The user may select any of the numbers one through six. Whenever a picture is clicked upon, then that die takes on the value shown inside the <select> THIS IS WHAT I NEED HELP WITH
The textarea: Results of the dice rolls should be kept as a running log (a cumulative history) in a textarea at the bottom of the page. With each roll (initiated by the click of the button), we should be able to see the complete history of all current and previous dice rolls. You need not consider changes brought about clicks on individual dice in conjunction with the <select>....I HAVE THIS DONE
The second button: A button below the textarea, should allow the user to obtain a report (overwriting the current contents of the log in the textarea) which tabulates the frequency of each of the six outcomes plotted separately for each of the dice. The frequency tabulation should show how often each die was rolled, as consistent with the data stored in the log..

Using jQuery I have set it up so that the user can select individuals individually (using the file browser) and then upload them all at the same time bty clicking 'Upload'. However, this is not really good enough...
What I need to happen is that when the user browses their machine to select their images, they are able to select multiple images through CTRL+click. At the minute they can only select one image at a time.
As I already have the upload process working perfectly, I would prefer that I was able to keep this intact and simply add some javascript which allowed multiple images to be selected by the file browser at the same time. I would also prefer, if possible, not to use flash.

Apr 14, 2011I am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.

Dec 10, 2010Iīve just launch my website-portfolio, well itīs not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result Iīve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesnīt happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.
