I've hit a little bit of a road block developing this site: [URL]. I'm attempting to use the thumbnails to load a new video in the main object. I've used this:

To replace the attributes in the object, but at this point, the source has the new arguments, but it needs to reload as the actual element still contains the old video. Should I somehow use AJAX to refresh this div? Should I reconstruct my jQuery somehow?

Not quite.Below is the js and basic css that i'm using. Shouldn't this be applying a different class on each img element based on the height/width values? They're all getting the same class.Am I needing to do some sort of loop function for this instead?

I saw code on here yesterday (actually it was from March, but I just found it yesterday and can't today) to do it, it showed two images at different times but I couldn't get it to work and don't know enough about java to add more time slots.

I am using wordpress for my site and I would like to display images of my jewelry based on tags.I have 160 images total. Different kind of material, color, shape and type. . I want to have a default image load first when you arrive on the page, then that image will get updated based on what tag you select. Like with color, there is black, white, red and green. For type it's necklaces and earrings. So I would have the same necklace, but there is a black and a green version for example.So say by default I have a black necklace that loads when you go to this page.If you press the green tab, then I need to fetch that same necklace in green. I have my tags set up right, I just need to be able to call up the correct image.Ideally I would like to have an image in the middle of the page, with icons of options on the above, to the left, right, and below the image.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to figure this script out for awhile and I've hit a wall. Basically, what I want to do for my organization's website is to use JS to display an image containing our hours and have it change each day of the week.
The hard part (for me) is that there are certain days we're closed. Ideally, I'd like a separate "We're Closed" message to overwrite the image carrying our hours on specific days (major holidays like Xmas, New Years, Vet's Day, furlough periods, etc. etc.).

For the most part, this code works just fine. However, if I jump my system clock to December 24, the "closure.png" comes up appears ALONGSIDE the hours image for that day of the week. In other words, I've got two images appearing right next to each other - that's not what I want.
How can I work the code in such a way that when a closure date comes up (in this case, 12/24), just the "closure.png" image shows up by itself?
What you can see is that I have a bunch of images which form a chart, each of the images has multiple classes.I want to write a function which when called fades in/out images dependant on whether all related checkboxes are checked or not.Checkboxes are related to the images by id on the checkbox and class on the image, as I'm sure you can see. I will be calling this method each time a checkbox is checked.

Image (size about 500x280) should change every second (or at least every 5 sec).
Example: If I enter the site at 15:00.07, first image i would see would be Image 0007 which changes after a second to 0008 and so on.
If entering the site 17:59.59 Image would number 3600 and next would be 0001.

I'm reasonably familiar with PHP (I use a lot of it to do simple things). I'm a Web desinger and do custom CSS Websites (I'm fairly new to that too couple of years or more working with CSS and I've never done a table based layout.

But when the button is clicked, nothing will call the showCaption() function again, and I can't figure out how to call that function as the images advance. I have tried a lot of things with a lot of weird results, one being the tne next caption will display in a blank browser window, without the Webpage! I'm not sure why that happens, but I have a clue.
Is there an easier way to do what I want to do? I only want to show a few lines of text that will describe each image. Seems simple enough to me, but I'm just too new to make it work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.

I´ve just launch my website-portfolio, well it´s not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result I´ve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesn´t happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.

However, I want to be able to place images in the Images directory without having to make sure the files are named the same as in the code. I'm having difficulty loading images via Ajax on a site that I've been working on.I'm performing the ajax by using the Request.HTML object of the MooTools framework. Basically, I'm just passing some parameters to a php script which outputs some image tags and then I insert that HTML into a pre-defined content div. For some reason though, it seems that big images don't seem to load consistently when using this technique. Usually, they will just show up as broken images, but when I navigate to the url of the image that is 'broken', it displays just fine. Also, occasionally after navigating to the actual url of the image, my browser will cache the image and then it will display just fine when loading it through Ajax.

I tried even with image border propoerty and image style properties both border and padding as 0 20px. Both not working properly. The style padding property is working fine in firefox and google chrome. But it is working in IE 6.0
