What I want is if I click on the small 'Contact Us' div, it should open the contents in the bigger one at the bottom of the page, same applies for the other small divs, and by default I want the Contact Us content to appear in the bigger div when the page is loaded, and then replaced as and when clicked on other divs.

So I wish to be able to click on a small thumbnail (small_tn1.jpeg) and a bigger picture pops out in a new window. (big_tn1.jpeg).I have looked at lightbox-versions but they are to complex with code.I want to use one function openBig() to be able to use on all my pictures on the site. So all my pictures will be named; small_tn1.jpeg, big_tn1.jpeg, small_tn2.jpeg, big_tn2.jpeg...I haven't found any that full fill my request. The closest code I found is for only a single-image. http://www.pcurtis.com/popup_advanced.htm*It's a school assignment, so I can not use jQuery or target="_blank"*
I am trying to include Dock MAC style Menu in my page which is floating. Here I am facing a problem is, when we hover on menu icon, without scrolling page at bottom, the menu iconsare not getting bigger in size, as it should be.And when you reached at bottom, moving scrollbar down, those icon gets bigger when we hoverI have placed the script just before the end of body tag. I also tried placing the code in starting of body tag, then the reverse thing happen. The icon gets bigger without moving scrollbar down and when we move to bottom, or scroll, the effects lost.
so obviously the href attr adds the link. Is there something I add to the onclick to make it open a new window instead of loading it in the existing window?
Also, I want to have getJsonDate(); execute when the page loads, how can I achieve this?
I'm looking for a toggle script that is much like this one. [URL]. Only I am in need of 5 links and have so only one div or element is open at a time. So by clicking one the other closes.

my relative wanted this star trail effect on the site: URL...I did similar effect below but I couldn't make smaller stars on trail, how can I achieve this?
See these demos here [URL]. I want to do the same thing (red on error and removes red upon correct entry) but only with one simple input (a spam question). All that jquery for one little thing seems def overkill. Anyone have a custom little script lying around or know of a example?
I need to know when the select element's dropdown list is opened (as when the user clicks on the arrow or does ALT-downarrow from the keyboard). Similarly, I need to known when the dropdown list closes.
The closing of the dropdown list can happen without changing the dropdown, hence the onchange event is not a sure way to determine that the dropdown list closed.
Is there a way to use javascript to increase the overall document text size, just like if you click View->Text Size->Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, Smallest? This is on IE browser.
I have successfully installed the datepicker jQuery plugin...works great. Here is what I am trying to do, and have not been able to figure it out. I would like our clients to be able to select any date that is past the current date, BUT, if the selected date is within 72 hours, I would like a popup javascript alert with a custom message.
i.e. Today is 7/30/2010...Bob selects 8/1/2010 from the calendar. It returns the date in a MM/DD/YYYY format to the form...and an alert pops up letting Bob now that availability may not beguaranteed.
Update: I have been playing with the code a bit....One way I am attempting to create this is by setting the 'defaultDate' to +3d and trying to create an IF statement that will alert if the selectedDate is smaller than defaultDate.
I've got a quick and little jQuery script set up so that when I hover over a div (#meatHome), a smaller div with a play button pops up (#playVideo). When you hit play, a div with a youtube embed comes up and plays (#promoVideo). Everything works, save for the fact that once the video comes up, I don't want the play button to come up anymore when I hover over it.
Here's the code:
When the play button is pressed, show the video player
Now, I have also tried using this for the function on lines 15 thru 18.
Which succesfully hides the #playVideo div permanently but fails to show the video div. If I swap out ($("#promoVideo")) with a simple string of text, it appears to work just fine. Can anybody shed some light on my plight?
make my script smaller by creating a function that controlls every textboxes instead of one textbox. See below my code that I want to make it smaller...
OK so the basic stylesheets comprise about 800 lines of code and look about as fragile as Trump's ego; I don't understand what most of these CSS selectors actually refer to and I'm intimidated about breaking something.I need to make a smaller (less width, 230px wide to be exact) version of the audio player.[URL]
