I have a page here [URL] I can add the rows now dynmically. My problem when submit I want the locations to be selected and the location cant be same. I have put this <select class='required' but is not workning either too. Secondly I want to make sure the dwell time column is fields in hour:minute format.
I'm having a problem with this script I'm working on. What I want to do is check that a user has entered only numeric characters in a text box. If not, an error message should be displayed telling the user that this field requires only numeric input.
It seems to be hitting that part of the function, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong that the form is still posting back. Here is the code:
In homePage(1 photo) and in Gallery(9 photos) at [URL]... I setup mouse rollover functionality > bigger photo...but bigger image appear below smaller...what to do appear next to smaller, so top side of both photos are on same line?
I have a webpage with a world clock. On the clock page are 12 buttons (World Cities). When the user clicks these buttons. The time for the relevant world city is displayed. (The time is updated by an on.click function for each individual button. That either subtracts or adds the hours from GMT. For example. If the time is GMT 18:00:00. The user clicks the Paris button and the function adds 1 hour to result in 19:00:00)
However. If the GMT time is for example 21:00:00 and the user clicks the Tokyo button (GMT+9 hours). The time displayed is 30:00:00. So I have been trying to work out how I can stop the time adding past 23:59:59.
I am using a validating form plug in for jquery and I have a question about it. Let this function will be an ex.:
[Code]....
'e' is the name attribute of one form element, but can I choose more elements using jquery (CSS) rules like this: input[name*=e] or how can I do something similar?
Don't know if am in the right section to post this, but I want to create something in html as defined in the attached image.
What I want is if I click on the small 'Contact Us' div, it should open the contents in the bigger one at the bottom of the page, same applies for the other small divs, and by default I want the Contact Us content to appear in the bigger div when the page is loaded, and then replaced as and when clicked on other divs.
I'm using the original lightbox script, took the code exactly as it was given but it doesn't look like the demo: [URL] What do I need to do to put a background behind things like the caption and to give it a bigger boarder? Example here: [URL]
So I wish to be able to click on a small thumbnail (small_tn1.jpeg) and a bigger picture pops out in a new window. (big_tn1.jpeg).I have looked at lightbox-versions but they are to complex with code.I want to use one function openBig() to be able to use on all my pictures on the site. So all my pictures will be named; small_tn1.jpeg, big_tn1.jpeg, small_tn2.jpeg, big_tn2.jpeg...I haven't found any that full fill my request. The closest code I found is for only a single-image. http://www.pcurtis.com/popup_advanced.htm*It's a school assignment, so I can not use jQuery or target="_blank"*
I have calendars on my site where tenants can make reservations for shared rooms. The start times are listed in a drop down starting at 8am and going through 5pm at one hour intervals. What I'd like to be able to do is make the drop down be populated 1 hour from the current time. For example, if it is 8 now, I'd like the time in the drop down to start at 9. Is this something that's possible or wishful thinking?
I am trying to include Dock MAC style Menu in my page which is floating.Here I am facing a problem is, when we hover on menu icon, without scrolling page at bottom, the menu iconsare not getting bigger in size, as it should be.And when you reached at bottom, moving scrollbar down, those icon gets bigger when we hoverI have placed the script just before the end of body tag. I also tried placing the code in starting of body tag, then the reverse thing happen. The icon gets bigger without moving scrollbar down and when we move to bottom, or scroll, the effects lost.
I am trying to roll out a 24 hour event, where at the top of every hour one div is swapped out for another. The code I'm using is:
onload=function(){ var rightNow = new Date(); var day = rightNow.getDay(); var hour = rightNow.getHours();
[Code].....
But, it only works with two instances of it...for two divs. If I put the code in three or more times, to swap out 3 or more divs, it doesn't work.
I'm thinking I should be able to write everything into one block of code, but can't figure it out. Any suggestions? I'm sorry to bother people with this, I just can't find any info online and I want to test it out ASAP so I know if I have to abandon the effort and try something else. I would just like to avoid having to build it in Flash too.
I am trying to create a script that will load an image based upon the hour of the day... Ultimately, the script needs to function as follows:
- A user navigates to the URL - An image is displayed that is 2 hours old
I have a camaera/utility to upload my image files by hour and updated every 10 minutes. So I have 24 images with a consistent name based upon the hour they where captured (e.g. 12.jpg, 13.jpg, etc...).
Therefore, all I need it a script that will determine what the current hour and display the image that corresponds to two hours previous. I know I can use the javascript math functions to get the 2 hour delay, but it's actually outputting the images that I'm having difficulty with.
I'm thinking I need to use the javascript "Switch" function, similar to the following, but I just can't seem to figure out how to make the script output an image instead of text. Code:
I have a countdown script I'd like to modify so that the countdown ends at a specific hour, and not on a particular day at midnight. I'm new to coding (Ruby), so still trying to get the hang of Javascript:
var current="Expired" var montharray=new Array("Jan","Feb","Mar","Apr","May","Jun","Jul","Aug","Sep","Oct","Nov","Dec") function countdown(yr,m,d){ theyear=yr;themonth=m;theday=d var today=new Date()
works ok, but my alert box comes in really slowly, then bounces. I want it to appear faster and to also appear after exactly one hour. I don't think that works right either. What do I need to change in order to do this?
I have some time for selection on my form, 30 minute time slots by default, what I would like to do is if a user has checked 1 hour then the selected time along with the an extra 30 minutes is selected
<% set Rs1 = objconn.execute("SELECT * FROM tEvents ") %> <select id="eventTime" name="eventTime" onchange="checkTime();"> <option class="xxx" value="1">Please Select start time</option> <%Do While NOT Rs1.EOF%>
1. i want to get the current time, possibility no from client computer ( sometimes their time is wrong)? i dont know whether can achieve but if cannot, then never mind, just get from client computer.
2. for example now is 1:25 am, i want to generate dynamically every half an hour timing from 2 am(round up) till for example 11 am

I'm having a little trouble with something a bit ridiculous. I have an image in a div, let says that the image's width is 100px (but in fact 300px, resize with em) and the div's width is 75px (it's an absolute div created by a plugin). I tried to do $('img').width() naturally, but it gave me the div's width. I tried some natives javascript methods (clientWidth, offsetWidth and scrollWidth), same things (but Firebug is saying that clientWidth is 100px, not 75px :'( ).
I am modifying a java script that has a function to validate a numeric value. I am attempting to update this function to validate numeric ranges for example =>0 to 35000.
Drawing a blank here on how to do this.. Any help would be greatly apprecaited. I have included the function that I am changing.. Code:
