I found an answer to my earlier problem: [URL]. By using this code: [URL] Now I have another problem. I would like it when the mouse is over the image that it stops moving, magnifies by 10% and onclick it will bring up a page in a new tab. The problem I have now is that the images are behind the background. Here is the site, all the source code is viewable: [URL]. I also need to have the ducks stop from going below the ground.
I used to know the coding for image rollovers in html but forgot and I am dealing with a php script this time. Can anyone help me with the code to have it switch images when you put your mouse over it and change back when you take your mouse off of it? they are jpg extensions. I have 2 buttons to link to different websites.
I am trying to use this JQuery Loupe effect to magnify small images on mouseover, but would like to be able to click on those magnified images to open a lightbox or to link to another page, but I can't seem to make it work!!
I tried to make a drop down menu with rollover image... with the drop down code that I found in this forum some days ago. I can finally make it but can't find how to make it rollover not hover with only colors. I want in like rollover menu but with drop down, but can't find how to make it rollover.
Javascript code Code: var timeout= 500; var closetimer= 0; var ddmenuitem= 0;
// open hidden layer function mopen(id){ // cancel close timer mcancelclosetime(); .....
In homePage(1 photo) and in Gallery(9 photos) at [URL]... I setup mouse rollover functionality > bigger photo...but bigger image appear below smaller...what to do appear next to smaller, so top side of both photos are on same line?
I have navigation buttons that I'll call primary buttons. I also have secondary navigation buttons that I'll call secondary buttons. If you rollover a primary navigation button, it should make secondary navigation buttons 1,4,and 5 go to rollover state A. However, if you rollover secondary navigation button 1,4 or 5 they should go to rollover state B.So the simplest way I can explain it is that the secondary navigation buttons need two rollover states possible.
Before, I had an iframe, and when I moused over a link outside the iframe, it would load a page into the iframe. Background image was part of the page loaded, as well as the text and what not. The problem was, the image took too long to load. I've been learning how to do javascript and I came across some code for preloading an image before the mouseover so there was zero wait time. For the past few days I've been trying to figure out how to have the preload image appear BENEATH the iframe (now with no background image or color) with the allowtransparency attribute set to true.
I've figured out the code to do both individually, i.e. I have the code so that when the link is moused over, the new image will appear; AND I have the code so that when the link is moused over, the page with load into the iframe. Both work, both do what is expected, but they don't do it together.Below is the script. Here's where it's confusing. If I have the "setupImgRollover..." first inside the if statement: the page loads into the iframe, but there is no image. If I have the "setupImgRollover..." after the "document.link..." commands in the if statement: the image appears but the page does not load into the iframe.
HTML Code:
window.onload = rolloverInit; function rolloverInit() { for (var i=0; i<document.links.length; i++) { var linkObj = document.links[i];
I have some simple rollover code here where I take the rel of an anchor and show the corresponding html ID.
I would like to set the location of the appearance of the tooltip using jquery. So, basically I want to secure the mouse location and append it to the CSS.
I am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.
I am curious if it is possible to use jQuery to simulate a rollover event after a page has loaded entirely.
Essentially, if you had a navigation menu with dropdown lists, could you make the lists drop down in order, one after another, each for 5 seconds, after the page has finished loading entirely?
Ive scoured the internet for scripts that make a <div> follow the mouse, and have found one that seems to work well. However, I want the <div> to stop moving when the CTRL or the SHIFT key is pressed, I dont care which. Hopefully, I can have a div that follows the mouse at an offset that contains some click-able items, so a menu is always by your mouse. Ive tried now more than a few times to put together a piece of code that can achieve this, but none have worked. Can somebody write a script that can achieve this, or point me in the right direction?Current JS for mouse follow:
var divName = 'mouseFollow'; // div that is to follow the mouse // (must be position:absolute) var offX = 15; // X offset from mouse position
here is my complete code when i mouse over on popupcontact div it show the divtoshow div over it and it has one link of name rahul when i mouse over the link it hide the div name divtoshow.my div should hide when i mouseout not when i mouseover the link.

I have a requirement....I have a timer on a page. If the user leave the page (mouse goes off of that page) the timer starts and continues...and when the user comes into that page(mouse over that page) the timer goes off/STOP....Is this can be done?? using javascript?
I created an accordion menu with rollover sub menus. My question is there a way to stop the rollover effect in the sub menus until the accordion animation is finished? When I click on a category link on the accordion the sub menu links flashes until the animation is done.
I've got to have a typo somewhere, but i can't seem to find it. I need a new pair of eyes to point it out for me. background: trying to code a mouseover link for a nav bar. everything is working( hyperlink, normal image shows up) but when i mouse over the image swap doesn't happen.
I have 2 parts of code. 1st preloads images and does the swap function. loads in <head> See below:
I am in the process of developing a website. I would like to use some images. The image should zoom on mouse over and mouse click i.e the image should zoom to h:100*W:100 on mouse over and on mouse click it should be zoomed to h:1000*w:1000. Also I would like to change the mouse over image and mouse click image before zooming.
I'm trying to make a simple page where I can move a div around by hovering the mouse over the different links. My problem is it wont stop once activated.
I want to create something similar to what they achieve with this script:[URL] I know I could just download their script, but it's for a website that will be commercial in nature, and my cousin doesn't want to pay 29 pounds (which is a lot in AUD!) for it. I can use a rollover to display a larger image next to it, but I'm not sure on how to make the image move like that one does.
I have this rollover script (original done by Old Pedant) which I have modified making it 5 sets of 2 images. Although it seems to work I have a feeling it's not the best way of doing it. It seems clumsy to me. Could it be made more concise. (or just made correct)
<script type="text/javascript"> function linkOver(link){ var image = link.getElementsByTagName("IMG")[0]; image.src = image.src.replace("Off_1.png","On_1.png"); image.src = image.src.replace("Off_2.png","On_2.png"); image.src = image.src.replace("Off_3.png","On_3.png"); image.src = image.src.replace("Off_4.png","On_4.png"); image.src = image.src.replace("Off_5.png","On_5.png"); }function linkOut(link){ var image = link.getElementsByTagName("IMG")[0];
I've been using dreamwevaer to automatically do rollovers for me, and i dont really understand them that much, but i need to create a rollover image which when hovered another image would appear to the right of it. Would anyone know how this is done?
I'm writing a flickr API driven match game like program right now and I'm running into a lot of issues where one button needs to fire off 5 actions but Js starts executing action 4 while 3 is still going and then I get some nasty bugs. The first example is this piece of code:
Second Question: For some reason, the menu is appearing behind a table row when it expands, thus hiding a good portion of the menu. Here it is: [URL]
Try clicking on 'Products & Services', and then clicking on "Centerfire Rifle Suppressors" from the dropdown menu. When it takes you to that category page, click the menu again and you will see that the menu hides behind the <h1> table row.
I've installed the jQuery autoscroll [URL], for my web page. I'm using it in a div tag for a news feed. The problem is that it is looping. Is there any way to make it stop at the bottom? And if its possible, is there any way to make it being able to scroll upwards again?
