I'm using jquery treeview [URL] menu in my website and I have a little problem: when I open a page from the menu tree, menu expands completely and items aligns to the left side for a while, the time that page is charging.

So when i click on home, i need the left side vertical menu to slide and open and the home in the left side should get highlighted. How do i do this in javascript?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using the JQuery Cycle plugin on my website and love it! It has so many options and seems customizable to do basically anything. My question is about the previous and next buttons. At the moment I am using next:'#next2, .pics img', prev:'#prev2', to make previous and next arrows underneath the image as well as use the image itself a "next" button. I would like to remove the arrows underneath the image and just use left and right halves of the image as a previous and next button. Previous being the left half and next being the right half of course. I've been searching for this being posted before and have not found any discussions on it. Is there a way to incorporate this type of button in JQuery Cycle? It seems easy enough to make the image a next button I feel like dividing it between the two shouldn't be that much more difficult.
I have an ASP.net page where I load a record set server side and upload it into a listbox. I'm trying to do all the movement functionalities of the listbox items client side. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to copy selected listbox items from one listbox to another -- on button click. I've searched for a while, but every example that I found moves the actual item into another listbox, I just want to copy the selected item to another listbox.

The problem is, that if the last menu is near the end of the browser, than the sub - sub menu will go off side the browser.

As can be seen from above posted code there is a line "<div id="' + menuSlider + '" style="display:none">". Appending that -- AFAIS -- the .append is automatically (????) adding "</div>" which closes the statement. That breaks my idea of the whole concept! The menu part isn't included in the 'menuSlider '. QQ: How to change it -- NOT to have that "</div" added to it??
The purpose of the code is to slideToggle open one of two hidden sub-nav bars when either of two different menu items are clicked upon - instead of a drop down menu. What doesn't work is the hiding of the div that is not required, if it is already open. Viewing in firebug shows that the appropriate classes are being applied - I suspect the reason is that slideToggle has been somehow set and cannot be unset via another object - but perhaps that is not it at all?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently started on a tree-folder display and used the Yahoo treeview control. Again it works very well and I am happy with the results. However, after seeing the treeview folder structure, my client asked if it would possible to add a right mouse click context menu to allow users to modify the folder tree -- add new folders, upload files, rename folders, delete folders, etc.
Updating the tree with the new elements is simple enough, but my attempts to implement the context menu have failed miserably. I have studied the Yahoo documentation and I can identify the name of nodes and the label of the element clicked on. But I can't figure out how to add the right-click code to the nodes the YUI Treeview generates.
I have successfully used various right-click Javascript scripts in the past -- but in those cases I was adding the function to an actual HTML element. The YUI elements are generated by the script, and I am at a loss as how to add the code to the generated node elements.
The application is part of a corporate intranet, and will only be used with Internet Explorer 6.0+ on Windows. The new context menu would completely replace the standard Windows context menu.
I am tempted to hack the YUI Treeview script to see if I can add a right click function similar to the Expand, Collapse and Clicked node functions, but I suspect that there is probably a simpler and easier way to do it.

If they are the same this character is written to outputString, in the same position. If they are not the same a character is lifted from the same position in altString and placed in the same position in outputString instead. I hope that's clear!

However, the line of code within the if statement outputString.charAt(count) = nextLetter; keeps generating an 'Invalid assigment left hand side' error message.
I'm busy creating a website and I've implemented a gallery of sorts using this script below to make it move the images, however when it gets to the end of the cycle of images it reads the last image as the last one to reach the left hand side which is obviously quite unattractive. So all I would like to know is if there is someone who can alter this code to make it so the last image is read on the right of the block thus resulting in no blank blocks. I'm looking for a jQuery plugin, which could create a flyout of a container from left or right side of a page on some event (onClick or onMouseOver).
The example can be found at [URL] when the page loads some shopping ads slide from the left side of the browser screen (it's shown automatically only once, to see it again you need to delete this website cookies and reload the page - it would be great if the plugin had this cookie-based feature).

I have been trying to get a similar menu to work (anylinkmenu), but it is not very good, so I want to use this one instead.
