DOJO - Remove Selected Items In The Grid2 To Grid1?

I am fetching dataitems(store1) from the json file using IteamFileWriteStore and IteamFileReadStore and storing these items in the EnhancedGrid G1.

After Fetching the data from the grid1 of store1. Now, I need to Remove the Selected items in the grid2 to the grid1. After Removing the Selected items to the grid2 that items should be Added from the grid1.

As shown in the picture below, you can see the word "Chinese Swimming Club" in the dialog box
Why is the quotation marks there ?
Is it possible to remove the quotation marks and just display the pic + the words Chinese Swimming Club ?

I'm creating a combobox using the Javascript and the DOM.
If the combobox exists, i don't want to create another one. I want to empty all the values and put new values.
I was able to create the combox and create the lines of code that deletes the values in the combobox (well almost) .....

i'm adding items to a select list like this:

I am having difficulties to deal with a simple remove function.
I have an item list with "listitem" css class. I placed a button on each item to delete it. I am now trying to use the remove function to erase it from the page. I thought $(this).remove(); will work but it doesn't. I also tried something like this: $(this).parent('.listitem').remove(); but it didn't work.
When I write $('.listitem').remove(); it erased all the items of the list. I m just trying to be able to erase just the one clicked.

I have a form for taking customer details. Part of the form will allow the user to select some upgrades for their selected product. The upgrades will be displayed in a drop down list with their additional cost. The total cost of the product being ordered will be displayed on the page.
Could someone please advise me on the best way to automatically update the total cost displayed on the page each time an upgrade is selected? I am using PHP for the site but I'm assuming that javascript is the best choice for this.

I have a multiple select list

Then I have a string of id's that I want to set to selected like so.

I am a beginner with JavaScript. I have modified a script or two, but have no real JavaScript knowledge. Others with more knowledge than I have suggested that I check here.
I am building a website for my daughter. She wants to put up a list of items (groceries). The visitors would select the items they want to buy, and then print a shopping list. If there is an available online coupon, that may also be printed. There would be no need to remember the information after the visitor prints. I will be getting a JavaScript book(s) to teach myself something about the language, but for this project, I don't know where to start?
Do I need to have the items in a database, or just program a button in front of each item?
Do I need two different (or more) scripts? One to select items, one to display the items, and one to print (or use the browser print)?

i'm after some script to display some html depending on what is selected in a list box
the html i want to display are checkboxes so it's more stuff for a form i'm using lotus notes, so i have to use javascript.
i can get it to display a checkbox if a particular item is selected but it won't show up in place, it loads a new page with the check box the only thing on that new page.

Is there a way to make a form label change color when, eg: a checkbox is checked, a menu/list item selected, or a radio button clicked?
Let say the label was dark gray and then will change to green when it is selected.
The bad news is I do not have the slightest clue as to how this is going to happen or if it is possible with Javascript. I searched Google but nothing Is this possible?

I am looking to create a set of three combo boxes with around 15 options in each. If an option is selected in one of the three boxes, it is removed as an option from the others.
Dropbox Box 1 Options: 1,2,3,...,15
Dropbox Box 2 Options: 1,2,3,...,15
Dropbox Box 3 Options: 1,2,3,...,15

So if the user changes there mind before submit, it repopulates each box with the proper items.

I have created a jquery accordion menu for a brilliant CMS called 'Concrete5' and all works lovely BUT I now would like the menu to stay open if a menu item is selected within the drop list.I have manged to create the following.....

I try to use the dojo datepicker and dropdowndatepicker widgets and I

The setDate methode does not modify the display.
The storedDate property stay undefined for the dropdowndatepicker

I am wondering why my DOJO Dialog box cannot appear in Firefox but can appear in IE and Google Chrome.
With Code JavaScript:

I thought my dialog box will automatically show in browser ? It is the case for IE and Google Chrome but not for firefox.

Maybe it isn't really best practice (as it turns out) to use both jQuery and Dojo in the same application, but there are things I like about both libraries (for example jQuery is faster with animations, while Dojo has interface objects I like better). Nonetheless, best practice or not, I use both and that seem to create some complications.
The first time I load content via AJAX with jQuery DOJO seems to properly parse the checkboxes, datetime pickers, etc. which are sent with the new HTML. However, it seems the second time the parser won't react. I'm calling dojo.parser.parse() every time I load content with jQuery's $.ajax call. So basically my code looks like this:

It's like when an ID has been treated once by Dojo it doesn't want to do it again. there's a way to let Dojo know it has to parse the same IDs again?
