How can I make it so that when you click on one image on the bottom, the top slider changes to the picture that was clicked?
When it comes to JavaScript, I am implementing a couple of Coda sliders onto a site, and as far as I am aware, you can have two sliders on one page, but for me this isn't working.

The first slider works well, but the second doesn't load properly.
does anyone know a good online resource that shows you how to do image sliders on a web page? For example, I have a image and a arrow (image) above this and the position of the arrow is dependent on a value (which I have).

I have recently been trying to create a simple login form with jQuery, and I was wondering how I would use jQuery to make the"<form>...</form>" "slideUp()" when the "Log in" button is pressed or when "enter" is pressed. Currently I am using "<input type="button" />" because a submit would refresh the page.
However, additional js is required for the "enter" keystroke with "button". How would I use a traditional form setup (i.e., POST, action="", submit, etc) with jQuery to: Slide up and hide the form area upon clicking of submit or enter keystroke POST form data to authenticate.php (which connects to a database, obviously) Return a boolean if there is a data mismatch Have the login page check for that boolean and return an error if err=1, in which case the error is a slideDown() of a div. Is a true login form setup possible here?
Also, should I use PHP or JS for the redirect upon login success? Basically, this is like any login form out there except for the sliding divs.
I need to have a series of images cycle in the background, and for each image, text should appear on the right or left side and slide into position. I thought this would be simple but can't really find any information about how to connect these two events. I've done plenty of background image cycling, but never tied a particular image to a particular animated effect. One, can this be done...if so, how challenging is this? And Two, would anyone know of a location of similar stuff. I've seen a bunch of sites that use Flash for this, but it seems like jQuery would be quicker and more robust.

The parsers in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome cannot seem to differentiate between the two scripts, although I tried altering various defined names for script control it didn't make much difference.
The problems are the controls of the first slider operate the second and only the second slider works. Also, I'm getting validation errors (document type does not allow element "li" here; missing one of "ul", "ol" start-tag) where the showroom (second) script content lies. Not sure if this is related or not but either way if I try to fix it the only working slider is broken.

I have a Nivo slider on each page of a site. The first page I put it on works fine, any other slider will not work the area that should be the slider simply appears as a block of colour.I initially thought that changing the id's would make no difference as each slider is on a separate page but decided to give it a go anyway as I had no other idea as to what it might be causing the problem.So, I have tried renaming the id's of the subsequent sliders (i.e #slider2 etc) and changing the call to the function at the bottom of the page to match this for example;

and also adding these id's to the CSS to ensure the styles are applied to the new id's but nothing seems to work see here [URL] Ignore the rest of the pages I have not implemented the slider on these yet.

which isprobablyeasy to tell, but I was hoping someone would be able to answer my question regarding the jquery accordion content sliders or point me in the direction of one that fits my needs.I am wondering if there is an accordion plug in out there that will reveal content based on whether or not you've moused over an image or clicked on it. However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.

I use an image button to post a form. Let's say the button is on A.php and form target is B.php. when clicked, B.php comes but with extra arguments in the url. As far as I understand they are the coordinates of the point I clicked on the button image.
