I'm building a website with a image menu like accordion, using jquery+easing+kwicks [URL]ith CSS, I can change the opacity of the element hovered (the opened kwick), but I'm looking to someway to change the opacity of the inactive kwicks (the images that close when you open a hovered image).I tried to do it with css, or hacking kwicks plugin, but I couldn't make it.

I have an ccordion menu, and each menu header has a little arrow img that changes when the menu slides down and up. The arrow img is a background image that is added to the detailsPanel div.This is the code so far:

This works fine when I toggle one menu item at a time.But say I expand one menu item, and then click on another menu header. What happens is that the first menu item slides up and the newly clicked slides down, just like expected. But the arrow doesn't change back on the menu that slides up. This happens because it's toggle function is still in the first state, and if I click on it again, thus removing the "detailsPanelSelected" class, all that happens is that the image changes back. Looking at the code, this is expected.how do I make it so that a menu items "detailsPanelSelected" is removed when another menu header is clicked? Can I somehow reset the pending toggle function?
Im using an accordion menu. i would like to have the sub-menu items in that accordion menu when clicked on display an image in a "viewing box" of some sort beside it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using the following function in order to change an image opacity on a mouseover and mouseout. This function works fine but does not handle a onClick. What I mean by this is...... How can I create/alter the function to handle an onclick? I want to be able to click on an image (one of many) and have that image opacity change to 50%. There are other similar images whose opacity would need to remain at 100%. If one of those are clicked, that images opacity would then change, and the previous would restore to original value of 100% I thought about passing the clicked images id to the function but I can't find a way to compare an image id VS a passed image id.

The script itself works fine only I do have some unwanted behaviour.
I do use a tablecell object and the mouseover/mouseout to activate the
script.
In the same cell are some links listed and when you move the cursor
over the links the image starts to flicker. This is because of the
getElementById that identifies each link as an object.
Anyone knows how I can solve this behaviour? (Below is the sourcecode I use)
I have a 10 checkboxes. Along with these 10 checkboxes I have 10 images that are associated with each checkbox. What I woudl liek to happen is when I click on one of the checkboxes it selects a class for the img object that will make the image go dim using opacity filter in css. When I untick the checkbox I want the image to go back to being opaque.

What I don't know is how to change the ActiveItem onclick to just bump it over to the next image as if the next image had been clicked. As of right now it opens the image source in a self window. I don't want that. Can anyone give me a clue or maybe the whole answer on how to get it to click over to the next image? I believe the answer lies in the contentflow_src.js file.

1. change each image to different image on mouseover (each image has its own mouseover image version).
2. produce different paragraph of text below row of images on each mouseover.
I can achieve it with mouseover on text links or on an image, but not with the two events, viz mouseover image swap + mouseover text swap. Would also want to be able to style the text.

I have a page which is a large graphic sliced up into various pieces for better loading. It's a drawing of a bedroom and I need to have it set up so that when a user clicks on a link that is mapped to a frame hanging on the wall, it opens the doors of a cupboard. The photoframe and the cupboard are in different images.
I thought of using a Javascript image rollover but I can't see how that can be used to change a different image rather than the image that has the link in it.
I've done a little Javascript editing. Am happy to upload the code and images to the web if required.
I've create a jquery accordian using the code provided in the main accordian page. It all works brilliantly, except when I try to show an image that will link to another page, the image does not show.
For example, In one of the accordion content areas, the code shows:
