I have a page HTML. In HTML have 1 button, when click into button that'll appear 1 window. In this window, it's show 1 image and after 5s it will change the other image. I can't do this.

I have a page which is a large graphic sliced up into various pieces for better loading. It's a drawing of a bedroom and I need to have it set up so that when a user clicks on a link that is mapped to a frame hanging on the wall, it opens the doors of a cupboard. The photoframe and the cupboard are in different images.
I thought of using a Javascript image rollover but I can't see how that can be used to change a different image rather than the image that has the link in it.
I've done a little Javascript editing. Am happy to upload the code and images to the web if required.

I have 3 images(I call them 1a-3a).
when u click on image 1a u change" image x" to image 1a
when u click on image 2a u change" image x" to image 2a
when u click on image 3a u change" image x" to image 3a
So far Im in the game. But..
Then I have 8 other images(I call them 1b-8b).
So if u click on image 1a u change "image x" to 1a. Then if I click on
image 1b I want image 1a(the changed "imagex") to change.
(click on 1a-3a and change "image x"--> click on image 1b-8b -->
change the images 1a-3a) Messy? I know.

"Imagex" is a Box and the 1a-3a changes pattern. The other 1b-8b
changes color. SO it should be possible to first change pattern, then
change color on the pattern u choosed before.
Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.

Say I have 4 images. 1 main image and 3 menu images. I want the main image to change to a description of that particular link from a base image when I mouse over each menu menu image. So when I mouse over a part of my menu say 'Contacts' I want the main image to change and say 'Click here to acquire my contact information.

The image thumbs are showing up but the larger images are not. I changed the 'body onload' html tag to window.onload as I'm using two different javascripts on this page and I don't want them to conflict.I've also added initLightbox() so I don't know what's wrong! Is there just an issue with the images or is there something wrong with the script.

In one of my web page I want to show an image preloader. ie When I clicked on the small thumbnail in my web page then the main large image will load. My code looks something like this

I found this slide show [URL]. I got it to work on my website [URL] using Firefox, but when it is viewed in Internet Explorer it will not work. Second question, When the slide show gets to the last image, after the last image all photos disappear and it resets itself changing the format of the webpage. Any way to not have the images disappear while it loops itself or is there a code to have it stop on the last photo and not loop.

These images are best viewed at large sizes, but if all of them were large, the page would look terrible, so I have them set to take the large image, shrink on load, enlarge on mouseover, then shrink on mouseout.. the problem is, if users do not scroll down my page, and try to look at the second row of images.. Then the bottom half of the image is cut off.. So what I need to do is Figure Out how to get my images to either appear and center of page on enlarge, or to have the page scroll down on enlarge..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm making a bit of a weird site on a server with no php, mysql etc. To save me work, I've included the header and footer using AJAX but would like to change the relevant nav bar image to the rollover image if the visitor is on that page. My javascript skills are TERRIBLE, but I came up with this anyway and was going to put it inbetween the <a> tags where the image currently sits. Probably for a very obvious reason unknown to me, the page just loads indefinitely making nothing work. Here's what I've got:

I am trying to put an image on the front page of my website that changes to one of two random images on mouseover. This part was easy, and has been done (I got the code from [URL] But what I am finding difficult is to make each image link to a different page. For example, if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs up' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs up' page. And if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs down' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs down' page. What I want to do is change the border of several images on the page to show a 4px border. There are many images on the page so I just want to call the changeborder() function on the onClick event so as the image that has been clicked changes. However, I don't think using this.style.border to identify the element works when placed within the function. That is, how do I identify, from the function, which image has been clicked? My current code (which does not work) looks like this but I am sure its possible to gather what i'm trying to achieve:

What I don't know is how to change the ActiveItem onclick to just bump it over to the next image as if the next image had been clicked. As of right now it opens the image source in a self window. I don't want that. Can anyone give me a clue or maybe the whole answer on how to get it to click over to the next image? I believe the answer lies in the contentflow_src.js file.

Although I have done a fair bit of html coding after taking several HTML courses, I have never become involved in JavaScript beyond adding the occasional pre-made script for a particular function.
Which is what I am trying to do at the moment. I want to insert a slide show into a page and have tried 2 scripts from Java Kit Scripts. Both are similar and I am having the same problem with both.
The problem: Inserting the image path. They both ask for the image path (naturally) and give the following examples:

But there is no reference to an "image" folder. I have tried inserting the folder name: "images/iss-bunker-1tn.jpg",
I have also tried leaving the word "images" out and also tried saving the related images in the same folder as the html coded pages. I have also tried using "shtml" pages. But nothing seems to work.
