1.I want to change the image when the user click's over the image

I have a page which is a large graphic sliced up into various pieces for better loading. It's a drawing of a bedroom and I need to have it set up so that when a user clicks on a link that is mapped to a frame hanging on the wall, it opens the doors of a cupboard. The photoframe and the cupboard are in different images.
I thought of using a Javascript image rollover but I can't see how that can be used to change a different image rather than the image that has the link in it.
I've done a little Javascript editing. Am happy to upload the code and images to the web if required.
I want to have a big image and say 5 small thumbnails underneath. When the user clicks a thumbnail, the image loads where the previous big image was. Is there a standard way to do this?

Of course client-side. My default background-image is put in CSS file.

Document.write isn't solution. Another important thing is that the image have to be user specified(the user is selecting image from his computer like in uploading file).
I am looking for a version of lightbox that would allow the user to click on a single reference image and when the "lightboxed" version appears a strip of thumbnails would be available at the top or bottom of that image. Thus, the user could navigate between images within the lightbox by clicking on a different thumbnail. If such beast exists a URL would appreciated. Extensive Googling hasn't turned up what I'm looking for at all.

I have a page which has four images on it, one large with three below.I basically just need a piece of script which changes the large image to whichever small one is clicked.I don't think it should be that hard, but I don't really know much javascript so pretty unsure.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been looking for an "Ajax CMS" but decided to learn jQuery to learn how to code it myself in order to earn some geek-girl cred among my male colleagues. I've learn a lot about jQuery in a week but as you can imagine I still have a lot to learn.
I have successfully animated an image (move to the left and increase opacity) when the mouse hovers a div and reset the image (move it back to its original position and reset the opacity) when the mouse move outside the div. So far so good...
Here comes the question: What I need to do -and don't know how to - is when the user clicks on the div the image should stay in the hover position while still being able to hover any other divs and activate the animation normally.
When a different div is clicked the previous "Clicked" div should return (animate) to its original position and the new "Clicked" div should stay in the hover position. Content will be loaded when the divs are clicked but there won't be page refresh since I'm loading the content by using the load funtion of jQuery.

I have pool of images in a folder and I want to display one by default. When image is click, It will cycle through all the images in the folder one at a time everytime it is clicked.
I know enough to make an image change when you click on something, but not enough to do what I want to do.

The problem is that I want the images to only advance in the proper order. For example, if "Image2.jpg" is currently displayed, I want to make it so that only clicking on "Link 3" will advance it to "Image3.jpg" while the other links are still there but do nothing if you click on them.

Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.

I found it difficult trying to put a short and concise title for you all to understand.My problem: Basically, I have an image (its a + sign), when clicked I need this + to change to a -. When clicked again, it needs to return to being a +.Below is the current code I am using:

I am creating a firefox extension, and I wish to change the image of the cursor upon click of a button. Firefox has setCursor() but it does nto inherit the browser element.

I've been trying to have an image be placed during a mouse over or mouse click event. The closest to accomplishing this is having the image be replaced by the image I want to overlay.

1. Image appears on the parent page in a specified ID.
2. A "hidden" field is updated so that when the user submits the db is updated with their selection.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have four links that use graphics to create an unvisited and visited state (using CSS). The link actually changes a section of text elsewhere on that page, so the user doesn't leave the page. The clicked, visited graphic reflects what text you are reading. You can then select a different link, and new text reflects the link you clicked on. What goes wrong is that if you click all four links, you eventually get all four visited graphics showing.
What I want is this. You click on the graphic and the graphic changes to visited. You then select a different link and that state goes to visited but the previous link that is visited too, changes back to unvisited. Therefore when you click on any link, that visited state is shown, and all others always reset to unvisited. The results is that the visited graphic reflects the current text on that page.
I'm building a website with a image menu like accordion, using jquery+easing+kwicks [URL]ith CSS, I can change the opacity of the element hovered (the opened kwick), but I'm looking to someway to change the opacity of the inactive kwicks (the images that close when you open a hovered image).I tried to do it with css, or hacking kwicks plugin, but I couldn't make it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using ContentFlow from [URL] It is very well documented on their website. I got the whole thing working great on my site. What I don't know is how to change the ActiveItem onclick to just bump it over to the next image as if the next image had been clicked. As of right now it opens the image source in a self window. I don't want that. Can anyone give me a clue or maybe the whole answer on how to get it to click over to the next image? I believe the answer lies in the contentflow_src.js file.
