I try to connect on Youtube using the script below. But I get the error message: Access to restricted URI denied" code: "1012 Is there any way to bypass this issue ?
function login() {
var u = 'xyz';
var p = 'xyz';
$.ajax({
I want to put youtube video bar in my website... and i already found the way to do it. Using google ajax search api. Google already provide the wizard to generate the code. [URL] The problem is, by default it shows only 4 videos for horizontal view. I am really having trouble to increase the video number.
I have recently been trying to create a simple login form with jQuery, and I was wondering how I would use jQuery to make the"<form>...</form>" "slideUp()" when the "Log in" button is pressed or when "enter" is pressed. Currently I am using "<input type="button" />" because a submit would refresh the page.
However, additional js is required for the "enter" keystroke with "button". How would I use a traditional form setup (i.e., POST, action="", submit, etc) with jQuery to: Slide up and hide the form area upon clicking of submit or enter keystroke POST form data to authenticate.php (which connects to a database, obviously) Return a boolean if there is a data mismatch Have the login page check for that boolean and return an error if err=1, in which case the error is a slideDown() of a div. Is a true login form setup possible here?
Also, should I use PHP or JS for the redirect upon login success? Basically, this is like any login form out there except for the sliding divs.
I need to have a series of images cycle in the background, and for each image, text should appear on the right or left side and slide into position. I thought this would be simple but can't really find any information about how to connect these two events. I've done plenty of background image cycling, but never tied a particular image to a particular animated effect. One, can this be done...if so, how challenging is this? And Two, would anyone know of a location of similar stuff. I've seen a bunch of sites that use Flash for this, but it seems like jQuery would be quicker and more robust.
is it possible to write up a script that connects to your host admin cp?
Basically, i want to put a form up for signing up to email addresses. How can i do this without any human interaction? Right now, i have to log into my admin cp and create mailboxes manually, there must be another automated way?
I've been trying to add embedded youtube videos to the carousel but so far without success. The videos are all over the screen, even when I wrap them in div. Has anyone ever done this and could help me?
I have embedded youtube videos in my site. I have them show and hide using jquery. Is there a way to make the videos stop playback when they are hidden?
Its a long shot posting here but the task I'm using a jQuery Carousel that has a youTube video embedded on one of the slides:
[URL]
I have is does any one know a way that when the user clicks a new slide the youTube video pauses, turns off, or at the very least the volume of the video is set equal to zero.
I'm trying to find out the height of an embedded youtube-video (what I wan't to do is hide all embeds when I open a facebox and replace them with a placeholder of equal size). I (basically) tried this:
It always alerts 18, at least for the yourubevideos I embedded.
Looks at each paragraph and converts youtube and yahoo video links to embedded players.Example
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
I am trying to create a playlist from the youtube data api using jquery's getjson method. I can get other nodes from the feed, but I can't get the media title for some reason. This is the feed:and this is the code that I'm using:
I have this C# code that is connecting to database and creating a array(list)
Code:
I'm trying to pass it to a javascript function so I can then pass it to a silverlight page so I was able to create this easy javascript that show a aleart box on startup of the list(array)
Code:
But I want to do something like this and can't get it:
I review music clips and dance clips. I would like to see a "clapometer" tool which recorded my reactions as the clip progressed. It could be a thimbs up and thumbs down icons, recording a timeline of mouseover events as the clip progressed. This could be useful as feedback to the author, showing which bits were rated and which not. It could be a useful feature on music sites and sites like youtube.
embedding the youtube in my webpage by javascript.How the same can be done by java as there lot of API are given did any one done by using that tell me the step by step procedure for the same.
I have used this tool in order to display all my youtube videos.[URL]When you go over the thumbnail of one of the videos, you can see the title of each video (the title of the specific video in youtube).I want this title to be displayed before the thumbnail (above it).There are 4 JS files, 1 CSS and a small html code (all on the link provided).
I am trying to figure out how to use the YouTube embed code but allow the user to paste the specific url to the video he wants to show on the Flash player. I think that to make this work that I will have to either load the information into a SQL database and call it from there or have javascript write the entire embed code with the value video1 as the source but I don't have very much experience with either.
I'm a total javascript noob, and new to web development in general, so I'm not sure how to use the API for the YouTube Chromeless player. So far here's my code:
Quote: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Mary North Travel | Full Service Retail Travel Agency Specializing in Leisure, Corporate, and Cruise Travel</Title> [Code]...
The loadNewVideo method currently does nothing. According to the API I need to use the getElementById in order to call the API methods. How do I incorporate that to make the methods work? Also, the API says I need to have a javascript function called onYouTubePlayerReady on my HTML page, which I've tried to incorporate based on seeing it used in someone else's code, but I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right. How and where should this really incorporated?
I've been able to get the video to play when I exchange apiplayer in the URL with the YouTube video ID, and the play, pause, and stop links will control the video. However I'm having trouble incorporating the API methods loadNewVideo, cueNewVideo, etc.
I'm not using any framework so I'm not looking for any jquery shorthand. I just need to change the youtube video with a click.
Code: <script type="text/javascript"> function changeVideo(vidSrc){ var link = vidSrc.href + "?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"; var movie = document.getElementById('embeddedMovie'); movie.setAttribute("src", link); alert('SRC: ' + document.getElementById('embeddedMovie').src); return false; }
The alert shows that the source is changing however the page just goes blank and the src is not updated in the markup. I also tried updating the parameter along with the movie but still no luck. Does the same on all browsers. If I use the same technique for images it works so I don't believe it to be any DOM loading issue.
I have a YouTube channel with many videos. The links to these Flash videos are talking to a page within my web site. On the web site, the video pops up in a tiny window on entry of the page, and it closes when you click the close button or it will fade away after it has played its way through.
So the scenario is this: The site looks great, but it doesn't on an iPad. Because I am linking to a Flash YouTube URL, it doesn't load on the non-Flash iPad device. I have done a lot of online reading for a week and discussed on many forums. However, everywhere I turn, I read articles about how what I'm trying to do is not possible--that no YouTube URL will ever play on the iPad. Is this true? If so, why can they play on the iPad YouTube app? What is the difference between the app and my web page?
I found many articles and videos referencing this fallback: [URL]
However, my problem with this fallback is that my videos are on YouTube. I am using a URL to talk to it, more specifically an ID. The client has done this purposely to save bandwidth on their server. I have the start of the Javascript looking like this:
function loadPlayer() { var params = { allowScriptAccess: "always" }; var atts = { id: "myytplayer" };
[Code].....
Within the loadPlayer function, can I add fallbacks in here (after line 4)? If so, how do I go about writing one? I suppose I'm just lost on how to get the HTML5 video option to work with my project. I have heard YouTube is using HTML5 video in beta, and it may be running in a few months. Would this auto-correct my problem do you think?
Is there a way to find the native file in the YouTube channel and bypass the .swf reference?
I am embedding several youtube videos on a page, by default, youtube videos do not autoplay.
To get them to autoplay, one simply appends &autoplay=1 to the youtube url.
E.g. http://www.youtube.com/v/6YR0LGK_HHA&autoplay=1 (will autoplay)
As opposed to: http://www.youtube.com/v/6YR0LGK_HHA (will not autoplay)
Does anyone know of a cool trick for being able to do this when the client clicks on a JS link labelled Play Video (without refreshing the page)? Code:
