Page Working With Dynamically Loaded Iframe Sources Passed By URL?

I've been trying to get this page working with dynamically loaded iframe sources passed by URL, but I can't seem to get it working.Here's the relavent code:

I used the hidden form to change the url to text - advice from another website. I'm sure there are better ways to do it, but I'll explore them as soon as this thing actually works..The types are in a subfolder named types, as shown. The document.write was placed in as a debug helper, and it displays the proper file location of whatever I select with the combo box, but the iframe doesn't change it's src to the selected page! I've tired the last line of the last <script> with several different methods, none of them producing any effect whatsoever.

Loop Through Different Iframe Sources?

i am displaying a pdf using an iframe. i am going to be storing links to a lot of pdfs in a database. So i want to be able to loop through and change the iframe src based on a button click.

is there anyway I can do this?

For reference i am writing the code behind in vb .net. The pdf links will be directory links more than likely, I just need to be able to store whether or not a user was able to see a certain pdf, but thats another question for another day

I have seen similar problems in the forum, but none that match this issue exactly.

I am using Giva Labs' jNotify plugin [URL].I have a main page that dynamically loads content in a container.

I load jquery, and jnotify in the main page. When I call jnotify from thedynamicallyloaded content, I get an error that jnotify is not a valid method. If I include the <script> call for jnotify in the dynamically called content, it works. This does not seem like the best practice.

Is there a way to re-initialize jnotify afterloadingdynamiccontent?

On my webpage, I dynamically create an iFrame when a button is pressed, then load a html page from within my own domain into the iframe, based on what html page is loaded into a variable. My question is, can I dynamically change the font family of the loaded html page from the javascript of the main page? My code to create the iframe is:

the variable "subTxt" has the url of the html page to be loaded (always on the same domain). The code: document.subIframe.document.body.style.fontFamily = "Arial"; was my attempt to dynamically change the font, but it didn't work. Also, it should be noted that there is no font family set in the html pages which would override this.

I am trying use the Load function and it looks partly succesful:the script code is:

So basically, the flow is like this..

callback to 3rd party.
--> is third party connected = yes --> build iframe (in parent page)
---> is third party connected = no --> do nothing

I have some forms whose ID's are dynamically created via PHP by including a variable called "invno" as shown here:

As you can see in the "action" attribute, I'm calling this function:

The problem I'm having is that no data is passed to the PHP back end. I have verified that the variable invno is correctly passed to the javascript function, and have tested my .serialize() by using a hard-coded form ID, but I still get no data passed through.

Each time I dynamically load the options of a select box and then try to do anything with it (such as clicking it or using other JS code on it) I get the following Firefox error:Error: Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount = NS_ERROR_DOM_INDEX_SIZE_ERR

I'm having a problem with some dynamically loaded content.
1. Ajax request returns some content that goes in a div. Inside that content, there's a text box with the id "coupon"
2. Also inside that content is a script called add_coupon that sends another ajax request. Use pushes a button, function gets called, all is well.
3. Inside the function, "document.getElementById ( 'coupon' )" returns undefined.

i'm dynamically creating an iframe on my page. the source for that iframe is a php page that prompts the user to download an excel file. sometimes it can take a little while for this file to be built by php.

i need a way to determine when the php page in the iframe is completely done.

currently, this is what i have.

Code HTML4Strict:
<iframe onload="iframeLoaded();" src="report.php"></iframe>

the problem with onload is that it seems like it fires as soon as the page is even referrenced within the iframe...not completely finished.
