I want to create a link to an email conference which is on 2 servers. Some users will only be registered on server1 and others will be registered on server2. however I don't know which users are on which server.
Is it possible to create some kind of JavaScript function which attempts to open a link to server1 and then if this fails default to server2. It would be far more user friendly.

I have a page with three items that I want the user to agree to (a beta signup agreement).I want them to have to check off all three boxes before the "continue" button becomes active. I've searched and searched and found a few tutorials, but they only seem to get me halfway and then drop me off a cliff.I don't need this to be a submit form or anything, just click the three boxes and then you can hit the "continue" button.

I have a floating button that is on a webpage via a javascript call.For one customer whose site is aspx, it causes a spontaneous redirection to the home page on their site.This happens after about a minute on the page & only on IE(7 or 8), BUT not on every IE configuration that I've tried. I've watched it happen with firebug lite running and didn't see any console messages or anything.

I am attempting to redirect a page after a user clicks on a submit button.I have a button:
<input id="SubmitButton" type="submit" class="button" name="-Edit" value="Submit" onClick="toSubmitted();"
And a function:
function toSubmitted() {
document.myForm.action = some URL that has to do with a Filemaker Pro backend.
document.myForm.submit();
window.location = "www.google.com";
}
Supposed to submit myForm, which sends necessary data to the FileMaker backend, and then I am wanting to redirect to a new page immediately after that.
The "window.location = "www.google.com";" line does not seem to function in its present location.
