Using Forms Array On Single Page

I have a single form on a single page with some js that is supposed to take the first and last name entered and add them to the select list. There seems to be some kind of communication stop between the js and html, because nothing happening.
Here is the code:

I have a php page with java script embed in it, i have 3 forms in a single page ... namely form1, form2, form3 . form 1 and form2 have a text box , these text boxes get input from users. Now my task is to get the value of these 2 tex boxes in form3 when the user click the submit button, so that i pass the values in those text boxes to next page for calculation.
I tried the following code in form3 but it result in vain :

I have a JSP page with several forms on it. Some of these forms are
generated dynamically, and each of them submits some information to a
database.
Handling one form is easy, as I can simply make the form post to
itself, and handle the
data using a single bean. Since I have multiple forms, I now have a
problem. Several of the forms on the page handle the same type of data
(same input names), and a 'setproperty *' call for each of the form
beans would change data in several beasn, not just the form/bean that
sent the data.
I am attempting to write a separate JSP with a single bean that
handles a form submission. However, I'm not sure how to make this page
go back to the referring page from which the data was submitted.

It doesn't appear to be possible to validate multiple forms on a pages that only has a single <form> tag, using the JQuery Validation Plugin offered by Jörn Zaefferer. The reason I need to do this is because my pages are created with ASP.NET whose architecture generally calls for a single page-wide <form> tag. In my designs, I'd like to submit my data using a custom ajax call to a web-method, and link it to a click event on a button.
Below is an example:

I'm not sure that I fully understand the documentation for the Validation plugin, but it doesn't seem like this is possible, as the plugin seems to need a <form> for each form.

I have several forms on a page, one for each "product". Each form is essentially a row with product information. I have a "Add to Cart" button. Now, I want this to work so that when you add a product to the cart, it does it without refreshing the page (AJAX?)
I found this [url] and it works to an extent... it updates the DIV for the first product only (and understandably)

I have made a site with 5 pages, each page contains a form. Each form is a checklist with a dropdown to choose an answer for each individual item.
Here is a same of the form code:
I am trying to write a script that will be called with onclick event from the "Next" button. This script will collect all the "notOK" option value/names and send them to a document, concatenating the info from the next forms until a single report is created with a list of all the "notOK" values. One the user gets to the end of the last form, there will be a submit button which sends the entire report to a specific email address.
Here is the script I have so far, which pulls the "notOK" values for each page:
This piece of code works great for an individual page, but I need to expand it to send the data to a report instead of window.alert, and I need to add some way of concatenating the data from each form to a single page, doc, etc.

I am trying to make a JavaScript chat-bot
I was using this to answer a month questions and it worked fine for what is the month after

i have an array in an HTML form.
UserName[1], UserName[2]...
all the UserName r actually a checkbox.
now i need to disable them upon a disable button.
in my function i created a loop
for (Counter=1; Counter <=CheckMarkCounter; Counter++)

so i tried
to do the following, write the statment into a string and run it by using eval:

as for the string, its fine but still the eval gives me an error: document.Form1.Username.1 is null or not an object....

I am trying to develop a small web based inventory programme. In the programme, after orders are placed for supply of an item, the materials are to be recieved by the stores. For this a "goods received page" is used. On start the page loads items as per the purchase order in the database. Javascript is used to calculate the cost of each item and total cost of all items. since the number of items vary from order to order I use the following code to load the page. ( PHP is used in the server side).

My problem is that the above will work whenever there are two or more items and the variable qty is actually an array. But it does not work when there is only one item. In other words, it does not recognises a single element array. value of rsize is returned as undefined. Splitting the loading process with seperate naming for single items as rqty and multiple items as rqty[] is not possible as option to be given to delete items from a multiple item page. This may end up in a single item page eve n when there are multiple items at load time.

I have a choice when creating a new API that I would like other peoples opinions on. Do I use a single Array or Multiple arrays such as: array[1][1] = "ID[56]NAME[Hello World]START[10]"; OR
ID[1][1] = 56;
Name[1][1] = "Hello World";
Start[1][1] = 20;
The API is used for animations so is very heavy work, but would using around 15 multidimensional arrays be too much and a single one be preferable???

I have two forms with identically named arrays on each. I need to copy the values to the second form's array. Here's a simplified version of the HTML:

I'd like to be able to submit hiddenform with the firstnames array equal to ['Joe', 'Bob', 'Pat']. But I seem to be getting an awful lot of ['', '', ''] no matter how I go about it.

I have a form element that looks like this:

I know that within the function I can access properties of the field (e.g. theField.name and theField.value). But how do I access theField's index number in the form's elements[] array -- from the "this" reference that was passed to the function? I.E. if this field is elements[3], how can I get at that 3?

greetings i am using quite a few different js plugins for my websites, and recently i have come into a problem with my <li> tag i have two menus that are using it and need two distinct css codes for them.
can i make two different css for li or inline code them what are my options? problem in a nutshell. main menu with one set of css <li> gallery images also using <li> the css of the gallery is conflicting and completely ruining the <li> for the main menu.

Ok so i'm trying to write a Greasemonkey script to change all the hrefs on a single page. The href by default looks like this:
<a href="javascript:get('246154895')" class="postid">ID</a>
What i'm trying to do is make the number from get() appear in stead of "ID". How should i get this done? I started up with this:

But i doubt it will work, since there are other items with the class "postid" that aren't related to these tags i'm trying to change.

I'm poking at a small "single page application" (SPA), ala TiddlyWiki,
to act as kind of a local, single-user version of Twitter (no real
application, except to familiarize myself with JavaScript). Right now
I'm using a hidden field to hold JSON, which is currently my flat-file
database of posts.
Is there a better way to store JSON data in a SPA other than hidden
fields? I'm Googling now to allay or confirm my concerns, but I'm
worried that there may be some upper limit to how much data you can cram
in the value of one.
I'm using JSON mostly because (a) I really prefer it to XML in
JavaScript applications, (b) it seems (key word, "seems") smart to
separate my post data from posts (so I can show n-number of posts at a
time), and (c) I really dislike parsing XML in JavaScript when JSON
seems like a viable alternative. (Though, given my size/space if JSON
isn't going to work, I'm not averse to using XML.)

Is there a simple way to just hide some text in a page? Browsing the documentation I found the .hide() function. But how can I tell jQuery to hide all occurrences of a specific string? If I use the :contains() Selector I can find the text but can only hide the element that contains the text not just the text.
