May 25, 2009I created a slideshow using the cycle-lite pluginLINK. LINK TO SLIDESHOW The slideshow is nearly great. The first time you load the images it is a bit bizarre. The images loads and fades at the same time.
Is there a way i can hide the images until all has loaded then trigger the slideshow.

The whole script is within the document ready function, but somehow Google Chrome thinks the content height is 0 (zero), because it's so fast. When I set a timeout it works correctly, but I don't really like this solution because of the delay.

Check If Page Is Loaded?
Feb 15, 2011We have to login to a http page so that I can surf the net. But, that login page also requires me to keep that page open which is very irritating. The page have javascript that checks if the page is loaded every 180 seconds, it its not loaded, I am logged out.
I want to simulate a browser using a programming language like python or using curl or anything so that I am not forced to keep the webpage open.
How can I do that? I have uploaded the source code of the webpages of login_page, javascript and ajax scripts used.
I am not actually sure as to how it is being accomplished so I dont know how to simulate it. note the sendLiveRequest function in javascipt script.

So for this i am changing href attribute of the link tag on selection of the perticular theme.
Problem is that when i change the theme whole page gets messed up till the new css fileis fully loaded.

Because when an imgae can't be loaded the Jqzoom should not work, because the big image (which is for the zoom) could not be loaded. Check If All Elements Have FULLY Loaded On The Viewer's End?
Mar 10, 2010I was wondering if anyone has figured out a near-perfect way to check if the client has all the elements fully loaded? Not talking about all the css and text loading and the event triggers while the client is viewing images load: I mean the event auto-triggers after all the images are fully loaded, along with the css, text content, etc.
(P.S. Not talking about AJAX. Literally when somebody visits a page itself, the elements all completely load first, then the event fires.)

Mar 11, 2010I have created no flash pages and flash pages, but instead of creating a portal at the front of the site that leads you to a flash site and a no flash site id like to do it so the page detects flash or not, and redirects to whichever URL.
Is this possible, or do multiple browsers cause problems ?
Completely Copy The Content Of One Frame To Another..
Jul 23, 2005This may sound weird but I'm try to find a way to copy the whole docoument from one frame to another. It's sort of like stowing away the whole page to another frame so that user can use the main frame for other things. When done, the user then can pull back the previous page into the main frame. I tried the swapping with document.body.innerHTML but then it only copied whatever in the body but not the header, which contains all the javascript functions and css. I thought about just replacing the other frame's url with the current but it won't work because the current page contains a "form submitted" search & result. Loading its url to the other frame would result in a complete new search.....

However, in IE7 (or rather, IE9b in compatibility mode), it still leaves style="TOP: ;" on the element (as given by: alert($(element).attr('style'));). I know this shouldn't be a problem, but for some reason it's playing around with my element, which has external CSS settings it as bottom:5px;. The top:; is applied, but then I want it completely removed. However, there might well be other css inline, so I don't want to removeAttr('style'). Is there another way to completely remove the 'top' property?

Jul 5, 2010I'm trying to use cluetip jquery plugin inside a message_container div which will be updated once in a while through ajax. The plugin works just fine in any other div, but it seems that in message_container div the already loaded external javascripts are not present ie the plugin doesn't work. Do you have any ideas what would be a proper solution for this issue?
