I have seen working examples with the href tag (e.g. <a href="#" onclick="func();return false">), but nothing with buttons. I also can't seem to get the working href examples to work on my server.For instance, I cannot get this code to work, it just goes to js_required.html:

Using Arrows To Navigate
Oct 25, 2010I have done some research and cannot find anything appropriate. I would like to be able to navigate up and down the inside of a div (selecting A Tags) and directing to them when the user presses 'Enter'.
Effectively need a function that records the up and down arrows and the enter key. It is for an autocomplete, I know there are jQuery things for this but I do not want to use jQuery! I need it to be fully browser compatible.

Scroll Only Showing On Refresh Or Navigate Through Pages?
Apr 6, 2010I've added a scroll script to my site which changes the scroll to just a black box in a grey rectangle. When the page is visited it doesn't show but once you either refresh or navigate through the pages it appears. I'm pretty much clueless about js so don't even know where to start with fixing this. Aug 18, 2010So Im trying to create a slideshow with thumbnails the user can scroll through and use to navigate the slideshow. I'm a big fan of cycle so I wanted to use that as my main slideshow component and was planning on using jcarousel for the pager. So far it works great in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, yet in IE the thumbnails are not loading. I'm guessing it has something to do with how the images in the pager are generated and then jcarousel just isnt proccessing that in IE but I 'm not sure. I feel like I'm very close to getting this slideshow to work, yet I need to figure out why it is failing in IE.

JQuery :: Auto-Navigate With Zoom-in And Zoom-out Google Maps?
Nov 4, 2010On google maps I have several hundred markers for different countries and cities across the globe. It is just not practical to navigate through several hundred markers therefore I would like my browser to auto navigate to predefined multiple latitudes and longtitudes or cities, once the navigation for predefined cities completes, the navigation loop carries on. Also for certain cities or latitude / longitude can we set zoom level so when the browser is auto navigating it zooms in and zooms out for predefined cities. Is this possible, here is the code that I am using.

Jul 13, 2010I am trying to produce a web form to allow wedding guests to RSVP. The form allows them to enter a name and select from a radio button whether they will be attending or not. If they select the "yes" radio button then a further pair of radio buttons are displayed for their meal preference.
They can then click a submit button or they can click another button to add another line for another guest which operates in exactly the same way. I've almost got this working, but it seems that the checkbox change handler is lost for the current guest when a new guest is added and the checkbox value is reset. I've got a feeling I'm doing something stupid but can't for the life of me figure out what.

Feb 13, 2009I have it set up so that there are three frames (frames and the use of javascript are encourage for practice) "bar" on the left with navigational options, "main" in the center where the body of the drill is presented, and "feedback" along the bottom where the feedback will appear.
My issue is that I have everything working except the form! I'm not sure how to make it so that upon clicking the submit button the feedback is presented in the "feedback" frame. This was suggested to me but isn't working, maybe I have a mistake somewhere? Or is there another way I can do this?

Why Does It Sometimes Display 'undefined' - When Click On Button - Random String From RandomString Variable Appears Below Button
Nov 16, 2011What happens is that when I click on a button, a random string from the RandomString variable appears below the button. e.g I click on the button and it displays 'AAB' and then if I click on the button again it may display 'AAE' and etc.
The problem is that sometimes it displays 'undefined'. I don't wanit 'undefined' to appear but why does it sometimes display 'undefined' rather than a Random string.
