JQuery :: Plugin In Websphere Portal Which Uses Dojo - Error Persist While The Page Is Loaded

We are using jquery plugin in websphere portal which uses dojo, one objservation is both use $ sign to start the function.
We have tried following.
1) We have put statement for jquery conflick $j = $.noconflict();
2) Still error persist while the page is loaded.
3) After this we have find Replaced $ with $j in all plugin files still it says $j is undefined. Do we need to replace it at all places or on specific places? Please see below code how it looks like after replacing $ with $j and let us know if this is correct.

I have seen similar problems in the forum, but none that match this issue exactly.
I am using Giva Labs' jNotify plugin [URL].I have a main page that dynamically loads content in a container.
I load jquery, and jnotify in the main page. When I call jnotify from thedynamicallyloaded content, I get an error that jnotify is not a valid method. If I include the <script> call for jnotify in the dynamically called content, it works. This does not seem like the best practice.
Is there a way to re-initialize jnotify afterloadingdynamiccontent?

I'm using .load to load a snippet of code into a div on a page. This works fine, but IE won't show the div if there is any JQuery, or indeed and sign of <script></script> tags. The snippet I'm loading contains a form with a from/to date and needs some form validation, all of which I wish to use JQuery for, for instance:

Putting this script anywhere in the main body of my html page means that JQuery can't see the fields which eventually get loaded into the waiting div on the same page (even when using $(document).ready ). The field seems to be too deep in the DOM and loading too late for JQuery to see it. Anyway, this is why I want to include it at the top of the loaded html snippet. Is IE known to have a problem with scripts in .load-ed snippets? p.s.The reaction of IE is just to show a blank div.

I'm having a problem on a particular site I am working on.
The URL is [url]
The problem is that when I try to close the browser in IE on the main page I get an popup with an error which says: "An error has occured on the script on this page"
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
"Yes" or "No" (Buttons to Click)
I have to click the 'Yes' button about thirty times before the browser will finally close. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

I am working on a page that will load in other pages using AJAX and the .html method. Something like this :

Unfortunately this does not seem to work, entirely. It does trigger the click event but it messes up the post for some reason. I have played around with it for the last 45 minutes or so and it seems like the click event trigger is what is messing things up, if I comment it out it works fine. Could anyone tell me why they think this is? note this is an over simplified version of my actual code, but the structure is the same.

Maybe it isn't really best practice (as it turns out) to use both jQuery and Dojo in the same application, but there are things I like about both libraries (for example jQuery is faster with animations, while Dojo has interface objects I like better). Nonetheless, best practice or not, I use both and that seem to create some complications.
The first time I load content via AJAX with jQuery DOJO seems to properly parse the checkboxes, datetime pickers, etc. which are sent with the new HTML. However, it seems the second time the parser won't react. I'm calling dojo.parser.parse() every time I load content with jQuery's $.ajax call. So basically my code looks like this:

It's like when an ID has been treated once by Dojo it doesn't want to do it again. there's a way to let Dojo know it has to parse the same IDs again?

The jquery.validate.pack.js file found on [url] causes an error when run in IE6. I re-ran the packing process with the perl port of Dean Edwards' Packer found here [url] and the problem no longer persists.
Here is the command I ran on cygwin:
These are the safest settings I've found with jsPacker.pl. The packed file lost 2kb (.1kb gzipped) of savings, but it works now!

I'm trying to load a page using the .load(url) from an already loaded page, but nothing responds. Below is a simple sample page created to show what I want to accomplish. Also, I'm using JQuery 1.3.

When the index.html page loads up, the page01.html loads into #mainview. And when I try to click on the <div id="clickme">Click Me!</div> inside page01.html to load page02.html, nothing works. Just can't figure out what's wrong...

I am using the jquery form validation plugin [URL] to get some simple validation done on my form. It's working perfect so far. When I set a particular form field to have the class "required" that makes it so that it can't be blank and when the user tries to submit the form, JQuery displays a "This field is required." text beside the field and focuses on it. The text generally appears right beside the input element. I was wondering whether it is possible to actually control where the error text appears? Say like I set an element div element which I want the error to appear. Is there a way to make it the error text appear in that div element?

I'm using this great plugin, but the prob for me is that all error messages have the same class added to them. due to the layout of my form, i need to be able to move some of the error messages around in diff ways. there is a way to add a diff error class to elements based on their id or class or whatever, but not sure how to do so.

I'm using this star-rating plugin [URL] and the call back function provided to allow for submission of forms onclick of rating star.

I'm using the jQuery form validation plugin along with the fileinput plugin which hides the initial input area, but uses <divs> and some styling /javascript to show the file input field.The issue I am having, is that the 'this field is required' text that is meant to show on submission, doesn't come up for the file input field, nor some checkboxes that I have in a table. I am guessing that this is because the code is needing the label to be RIGHT next to the element (in this case the file input or the checkbox) in order for the validation message to show..Are there any work arounds that anyone knows of so that I can get the error message to show?Is there a way to show the error message for required fields when they have a div wrapping them or anything wrapping them?

I tried assigning 2 error classes to an error message (as a span), but when the empty field was fixed, the error message wouldn't disappear.
