I'm having a problem with my radio buttons. On FF and Chrome they work just fine, but in IE, they does'nt appear as sellected. In other words: they do their job, but when you click'em, they stay unckeched. The genetarion code:

java and i am having trouble getting radio buttons , check boxes and pull down lists to work in my form whenever i put them in there they just come up as undefined. And if i try to put any if statements in the hyper links stop working as the program cannot run. I found error... In POST variables passed to ajax.php I had 'content': content and content is probably jQuery reserved word (and this variable wasn´t define before). But I don´t know why that works in FF.
I can't get the radio buttons to work properly in my browser. If you don't press one the alert box does not tell you that you have to tick either male or female. Also I noticed you can tick both but it won't say you must choose only one, how can I sort this..

I've created a checkbox and radio button replacement plugin (URL...), and I'm trying to be as thorough as possible.One situation that I have yet to solve is if a button is given the attribute checked="checked" through some external function. I'm not sure of how to detect this event so that the replacement image is also updated. The .change() method only works when the user actually clicks on the button.The reason I am trying to work this out is because I am adding support for disabled buttons as well. From what I've seen, there are plenty of situations where a button is disabled until a user either selects something else, or fills in required info, etc., and then it is enabled (most likely through the removal of disabled= 'disabled '). If the developer has already worked that in, I don't want the implementation of my plugin to affect that. It should just work automatically.I do check the states on page load, but i'm not running any sort of loop to constantly look for changes.

I would like the selected radio button's value to be inserted into the href of the link, and if the user selects a different radio button that this changes. I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking to build an expenditure calculator. What I am having problems with is I am using radio buttons to multiply form field values
[radio1] = x 1 (week)
[radio2] = x 4 (month)
[radio3] = x 52 (year)
So if you fill out a field and select [radio2] it multiplies the field by 4. If you then select [radio1] it reverts to the original value. Using JQuery what's the best way to do this. The issue I am having is I need to know the previous selected radio as well as the new one so I know whether to divide or multiply.

I am creating a form for a registration that asks the participant if they have completed pre-requisite training. There are three questions they are asked. When they click yes, the text box for the requested information is enabled, when they click no, they get a warning that they need to register first.

I'm trying to get my form to show and hide various divs with radio buttons. There are multiple options in the second box of my example. When a user selects the first option, more input boxes come up. Perfect, that's what I want. However, if they decide they didn't mean to click that option and instead wanted another option, the original part that popped up doesn't disappear. I cannot figure out how to make this happen.
