View 2 Replies View RelatedI just don't see any possibility to change the height of a button. I am developing an application to list many articles. The height of the collapsible buttons/select buttons is therefore to large, i want the buttons to be as small as possible.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have 10 buttons on a page, and 10 more "onmouseover buttons" that correlate to the first set. Each button or onmouseover button is only 1-2KB! But I can still hold the mouse over a button for a couple seconds until it loads the onmouseover button. I'm using javascript to have the buttons change. The page does load a 2MB video. Could that be the cause? Can I tell it to load the buttons first somehow?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have multiple select controls with the SAME ID, like this
<select name="accommodation[]" id="g_accom">
<option value="0">Select Accomodation</option>

<option value="0">Accomodation2</option>
[Code]...
How can I use the above jquery to work with MULTIPLE IDENTICAL ID's ?
I'm still trying to get to grips with jQuery syntax,I'm working on an accordion-style menu and I'm struggling to get a hide behaviour to work.
Basically I want to hide all of the controls within my specified parent control which have an ID starting with "accordionBody_" except the first one. (So that the first pane is expanded and the rest are hidden on load.) I'm using the following:
$('#' + containerId).find("div[id^='accordionBody_']:not(:first)").hide();
But it's not working - it just hides all of the controls.
I have a page with a button and a container. When i click on the button, it should redirect to a page where we can create a new customer. On the new customer form ,I have textboxes, radio buttons ,buttons amongst others.What i wanna do is that instead of redirecting to that page. I wanna dynamically create a div with all the controls required in the Container i have on my page itself. So each time the user click the Add New Customer button, on the same page, the textboxes and all other controls is created dynamically.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get all my input values from this table:
I am trying to get all the input controls value from "myid_input_tr", anyone knows how ? Should be not very hard.
Let's put it this way.I have the following repeating DIVs:
<asp:TextBox ID="txtInsertComments" AutoPostBack="false" CssClass="expanding" runat="server" Width="400px" Text='<%# Bind("comments") %>' TextMode="MultiLine" />
<div id="commands" style="display: none;">
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="400px" id="tblCommands">
[Code].....
How do I use jQuery to determine which textbox control is being clicked and then show the div that relates to that TextBox? Again, both the textbox along with the div=command are all repeating. It could repeat more than just twice as showing in the example above. I need the jQuery to only show the div=command that the user has clicked on the TextBox for commenting.
I'm trying to use the following loop to loop through dynamically created controls on my web form:

case "is equal": Stmt += " = ";
[Code].....
I need to select all controls that have ared background color
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm optimistically hoping that someone has already created a plugin for my desired effect, I think I've seen it in the past but can't recall where..
Essentially, I have a 'website'/'book' being loaded by an iOS app in a uiwebview 'browser', which uses floating images for controls (back/contents/next)
I would really like for the controls to fade out when no scrolling has occurred for say 5 seconds, and fade back in when the screen is touched or scrolled.
I have been using the validation plugin for my form validations. The current scenario is thus :
1. I have a form.
2. There is an option for the user to specify a number (Any digit) in one of the textboxes.
3. Depending on the number , i create that many number of textboxes with a particular type of id and name [For Eg: txtEmail_1 , txtEmail_2]
4. Now, these textboxes (all of them) should have to be validated for 'Email','Required', etc.
How do i add rules to these textboxes dynamically??
I want to validate my forms when clicking only on submit button. Here is my code.
[Code]...
The problem is it fires the validation to every button in the form. how can I do the validation only for the submit button and skip the validation to other button clicks?
I am working with ASP.net and VB as my code behind. I tried solving this in normal JavaScript with no luck. I have a textbox that when it receives focus I want to make the next 3 controls visible. I have tried the included code with no luck. Here is the Head and Jquery.
[Code]...
I create buttons from an array of objects that such as:
buttons = [{ text: "button 1", action: 1}, {text: "button 2", action: 2}];
I then loop thru the array to assign the text and bind the click event after having created the buttons with IDs of "button_<index>".
for( var index in buttons ) {
$("#button_"+index).html ( buttons[index].text )
.click( function() { clickButton( buttons[index].action ) } );
}
The text appears correctly in the button, but every button defined only fires the list bound click, in this example the action equal to'2'whether I push "Button 1" or "Button 2".My actual case has four buttons, all firing the event for the fourth button.I've tried not chaining the .click(), going thru the loop twice once for the .html and once for the .click, neither of which made a difference. If I hard code each button .click, it works fine.
I'm building all my forms dinamically, calling a web service that returns me the field type, description and a set of rules for validation, all in JSON format. No matter how hard I tried, calling rules("add", ...) after adding the control to DOM does not work since I don't get the right format for the rules. Has anyone tried doing that (returning the rules with JSON and adding to a dynamic control)?
The rules come this way:
data.d[0].ItemRules
minlength:2
required:true
I have a slider set up that navigates fine using 'next' and 'prev' buttons. There are 14 slides and I have 5 buttons at top that I need to point to specific slides in the layout. Content is static and there will always be 14 slides, and the links will always link to the same slide.So I can manually set IDs for those slides and I can also manually designate each link to go to whatever slide... but I'm not sure how to move forward.My existing slider code is very basic:
$("#slider").cycle({
fx: 'scrollHorz',
timeout: 0,
[code]....
So, the slider is working great. I just need to create navigation that allows a few links to point to specific slides here.
I am building some video player controls and when I mouse over/out the volume icon, I want the volume slider to appear and disappear. On the mouseout, I want it delayed so what I did was this:
$("#mutebtn").mouseover(
function() {
$("#slider").fadeTo("fast",1);
});
$("#mutebtn").mouseout(
function(){
$("#slider").fadeTo("fast",0).delay(2000);
});
It delays but it puts the delay on the mouseover. So naturally I put the delay on the mouseover and then the delay was on the mouseout which is the correct behavior.
What I am trying to do is create a slider that auto scrolls 3-4 images from right to left with no controls. And if the user hovers over it, it stops so they can read the content that is featured. Everywhere I search there are bunch of plugins i.e. easyslider, s3slider, etc. that have tons of code that is greek to me. I tried using the easyslider code and changing things around for it to do what I want, but I was unsuccessful.
