JQuery :: Create A Slider That Auto Scrolls 3-4 Images From Right To Left With No Controls?

What I am trying to do is create a slider that auto scrolls 3-4 images from right to left with no controls. And if the user hovers over it, it stops so they can read the content that is featured. Everywhere I search there are bunch of plugins i.e. easyslider, s3slider, etc. that have tons of code that is greek to me. I tried using the easyslider code and changing things around for it to do what I want, but I was unsuccessful.

if you go to this home page you will see a form that scrolls down right away from the left.you cant miss it.the problem is it pops in fast. i want a user to be on the site for at least 5 seconds and then it pops in.here is the code;

I have a slider set up that navigates fine using 'next' and 'prev' buttons. There are 14 slides and I have 5 buttons at top that I need to point to specific slides in the layout. Content is static and there will always be 14 slides, and the links will always link to the same slide.So I can manually set IDs for those slides and I can also manually designate each link to go to whatever slide... but I'm not sure how to move forward.My existing slider code is very basic:

So, the slider is working great. I just need to create navigation that allows a few links to point to specific slides here.

Im trying to build on a script that I found on the internet and modified to my needs.urrently there are three images on the left, which, when clicked, change the image on the right depending on which of the left images was clicked.Simply, when you click the whisky link on the left you see a bottle of wiskey on the right. I want to do like that, I have a center point, when I hover mouse to left of that point, slider will move left and same with right

I've got a problem with a jQuery slider I'm using on a website I'm currently developing (temporarily hosted at [URL]. Generally it looks and functions as I'd like it to, but it seems to have a problem when you're looking at other tabs/websites in your web browser. When you come back to the slider having been looking at something else for a minute or so, the slider effectively plays catch up and quickly scrolls through the slides faster than usual until it catches up with the position it would have been in had you not have been looking at another tab and left it to run. This seems to happen in all web browsers as far as I can tell.

I have a page with a button and a container. When i click on the button, it should redirect to a page where we can create a new customer. On the new customer form ,I have textboxes, radio buttons ,buttons amongst others.What i wanna do is that instead of redirecting to that page. I wanna dynamically create a div with all the controls required in the Container i have on my page itself. So each time the user click the Add New Customer button, on the same page, the textboxes and all other controls is created dynamically.

After upgrading from 1.5.1 to 1.6.1 the auto-play feature of this slider speeds up. I'm using this code: [URL]. 4000 milliseconds is specified in the script if you view source, however, if you let the slider run for a few minutes(I haven't determined a consistent time frame for this) then the slider begins to change one after the next almost immediately without waiting 4 seconds.
.attr() is used once in the script, but after reading the core teams suggestions regarding .attr() after upgrading to 1.6.1 it doesn't seem like I'm supposed to change anything.

I'm using jCarousel Lite to power a content slider on a site. It has been working great, but I now have the need for a pause button to pause the auto rotation of the slides. I'd like to attach the pause function to an anchor tag. This feature is not built into the plugin currently and my attempts to contact the author have failed.Here is the code on in my html...

I found a Java Script that will allow me to loop images without user controls. I am trying to find something that will allow me to add user controls like start, stop, rock, zoom, speed setting, etc.
I know of the AniS class of Java but I cannot seem to get that to work, so I am trying to use a script instead of an applet. I don't really know what I am talking about so if any of this makes no sense, I apologize.

Anybody knows how to do something like this using jquery?:All I've found only shows one image at a time and what I need is to show three images and keep sliding it to show a new one but still keeping the last two.The last example is using Mootools but I am using another effect in the galleries using jquery and they don't work at the same time.

I need the images (that have variable widths) aligned to right,not left...I have tried using some css variants and nothing works... float, text-align, right:0...then looking at the jquery.cycle.all.js file I saw a lot of "left"strings... maybe I need to change some of them, to make it align to right?maybe there is an option in jquery to change them to

I prefer jQuery over flash and not sure how to tackle this, so please advise as best you can. Trying to create a site that allows for images to go full browser and then have the ability to have the other images slide in based on a click.
I also want to float a menu that will allow it to pull in other media (video, that would slide in the same way). The best example I can share is this: http://j.mp/5U79i1 What he is using is flash based (slideshowpro director and slideshow pro for flash). Not interested in flash for this personal project.

I'm trying to create a horizontal carousel/slider that will display my latest Tweet.
I started with some code I found to pull in my latest tweets via .json. I got that all set up and now I'm trying to integrate the bxSlider plugin to cycle through these tweets one at a time.

I have a div that is set to overflow auto allowing the content to scroll left and right. This is because the content I am putting in it (a series of input boxes) is considerably wider than the containing div. The way it sits, when I start in the first input box and continually tab to the other input boxes, the focus goes from the left of the screen to the right. Once it hits the input box to the right of the screen, some of the input box is hidden to the right. As I tab to the input boxes to the right, each one has a portion of the element cut off by the view window.
What I want to happen is when I start at the left most input box and tab over, as I reach the center of the viewable part of the container, I want the input boxes to continue to center themselves until I reach the last ones. I think that telling each input box to center itself in the visible window of the containing div as it gets focus would work, I just don't know if there is an easy way to accomplish this using javascript I am using the mootools framework if that helps my case any.

I am new to using jquery and had a question about the slider that I use on my portfolio [URL]. The slider works perfectly but the one issue I have is that whilst it is loading you can see all the images that are used in it tiled vertically, overlapping the text and the rest of the site. It basically looks very ugly whilst loading so I was wondering if there is a way to hide the images whilst it loads, or if there is another alternative?
