Get Two Dropdown Box Combinations To Sawp Images In A Div?

I need to know how I would go about making it so that when people select an option like men it populates a different set of dropdown options in the second dropdown (and a different set of options if I select women, etc...), and then I can select an option like Hair Care Products and have it swap out the image in a div to show mens hair care products. I have code to do this for just one dropdown, but I don't know how to make it work with two dropdowns that populate different info based on the selection of the first dropdown.

I looked around for a solution but could not find one. I am trying to find combinations of numbers that can add up to a total. The numbers available and the total are different each time.
For example, I have an array that contains the following numbers:

I have a string "ajrdvbfomfkswkmbncrfu" where the 3 letters b,k and f can be in three forms: b,b',b" and k,k',k" and f,f',f".I want to find ALL the possible string combinations.Is there a simple way to do that in JavaScript? (probably with several for loops)

The code I will am including is far from finished, but some of what I do have works (the "submit" code does not work yet). I am able to prevent certain kinds of input including Shift-Ins pasting, but Ctrl-v pasting still works (and I do not want it to). Could you please tell/show me what code needs to be entered to my existing functions, or what new function I need to create (and call from my existing functions) to eliminate any kind of CtrlKey input?

I am having trouble writing this javascript for my work, normally I would do this in ASP or PHP, but the environment I am working with will only allow javascript for dynamic function.
The form has two different select boxes and based on your options selected for select box #1 and select box #2, the hidden input field "redirect" (which is currently empty) would then populate dynamically with the URL associated with that combination mentioned below. The hidden redirect input field (now containing dyanmically generated data) would then pass the new value via HTTP_POST to .net script that will handle the redirect processing step fed to it. code...

I have a project where I need a selection of one dropdown menu may affect the select of multiple other dropdown menus on the same page.First, a table is generated, and within each row, it contains a dropdown menu. Assume: Rows A, B, C, etc..., and Dropdown selection: 1, 2, & 3If dropdown in Row A selects 2, then I want the selection of dropdowns in rows B & C to dynamically change to 2.And if in Row C user selects 3, then the selection in dropdowns in rows A & B should dynamically change to 3.

I just needed a simple dropdown. So what better solution than jquery right? Well, when I finished it, I tested it out and it works until you try to click a link in the dropdown. It then disappears. Not sure if theres something overlaying throwing it off but I didn't see anything in firebug.

I have code for autosuggestion while typing in a text box written in Javascript and PHP. When I start typing a number I get a list of matching numbers and I'm able to select one of them with the mouse click. Now I have an other text box which should display a list of numbers based on the selection from the first textbox.

The first dropdown has some options as :
abc(a)
bcd(a)
cde(b)

On selecting abc(a) in first dropdown the 'a' must get selected in second dropdown,on selecting cde(b) second dropdown must have 'b' and so on,also the second dropdown value should be disabled(grayed out) for user.Need the code in javascript.

I have 4 strands of hair left... I have been fighting with this one for almost a week now. I'm trying to pass the value of this dropdown to a function and enable another dropdown(and in the future create the populated dropdown based on this choice). If the original 'Select...' option is chosen it will then hide that second dropdown. In the following code the function actually resides in a js file which has been imported and is working properly. I have tried this as text and as value and both seem to be passing a null value regardless of the option selected.

I have two drop-down prompt controls with month names. One has just one value (say "July") and the other has all the months of the year ("January".."December"). The first prompt control is hidden on the page. How do I set the default selection of the second prompt control to the value present in the first prompt control? So, when the page is run, the second prompt control should automatically show "July".
I was reading up on the selectedIndex property (?), but I know that it won't work because I want Index 0 to be selected in the first control and Index 6 in the second, and I expect it to change every month (next month it will be index 7 that should be automatically selected).

Ive searched this forum for a simple solution to this. I want have a drop down of countries. Only if USA is selected, it shows states, otherwise it is hidden. I have a function which is 'trying' to write the state dropdown to an empty span.

What I'm looking to do is have a folder of images that I have show up on my website.I'm also looking to pull from this folder up to 6 or 7 times on the same page w/ randomized pictures that do not repeat.Finally, I'm looking to be able to size and name these images based on which image randomly pulls. b/c it's not grabbing the images.

I have to do a slideshow with images of different widths... am using cycle plugin, which I like very much... I am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.

Iīve just launch my website-portfolio, well itīs not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result Iīve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesnīt happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.

I am working on a small gadget which downloads a series of images from the web and displays the images in a loop. However i am having trouble saving the xmlhttprequest to a file to use later in an array. I have read that it should be easy to save the .png using Scripting.filesystemobject but have been unable to find any information on how to do it.

i used setTimeout() function in my image gallery to scroll images , i used setTimeout("myfunction()",1) in my script. Now my image gallery is working properly but problem is that the speed of scrolling images if normal in firefox, but in internet explorer it is slow, and in google chrome it is very fast , Sir how to resolve this problem

I prefer jQuery over flash and not sure how to tackle this, so please advise as best you can. Trying to create a site that allows for images to go full browser and then have the ability to have the other images slide in based on a click.
I also want to float a menu that will allow it to pull in other media (video, that would slide in the same way). The best example I can share is this: http://j.mp/5U79i1 What he is using is flash based (slideshowpro director and slideshow pro for flash). Not interested in flash for this personal project.

There is a slideshow on my website that reads in the address of local images and puts them in a slideshow rotation to be displayed on the page. I currently have to "hard code" the addresses in, similar to the JavaScript below:
However, I want to be able to place images in the Images directory without having to make sure the files are named the same as in the code. I would like JavaScript to go out to a local directory, see what's in there, grab anything in jpeg format (regardless of the name), and put it in the slideshow rotation.
