i've got a drop down menu and an image fader. i need the drop down menu to overlay on top of the fader. currently it drops down under it. i've tried messing about with z-index but not getting far.
I am looking for a script that fades Text (description above and below a banner Banner) with Banners and hyperlink. A mouseoverstop would be very nice too. Here's an example of one of my Friendsbanners I would like to fade (all together there a 5 of these Friends Banners <font face="verdana" font-weight="700" color="darkgreen">Some Topic above <p> </p><a href="[URL]" target="_blank"><img src="[URL]" WIDTH="200" /> </a> Some Topc below</center>
i have a module in my site where there is a scroll of images.i would like to know if its possible to remove the marquee script and add images who are fading.
I would like to animate a number of thumbnails in a gallery. My idea is to have each thumb transit to another thumb, i.e. you put your mouse over a thumbnail, and it slowly fades to a different image. I have spent a lot of time trying to get this to work, using exhaustive combinations of fadeToggle() and stop(false, false) etc etc and I still can't get a smooth effect.
I have created my own fade engine using a variable that drives the opacity of the image that fades in/out over the other image. My issue is that I would like to get this into a function, as it works beautifully for one image, or if you simply duplicate the code for other thumbnails. The problem is there could be up to 32 thumbnails on the page, which means a lot of repeated code.
I have just inherited a website which has a javascript tab and picture fader on the home page. This moves through 6 states changing a tab and main picture beneath to make it look like you're flicking through the menu yourself. This works perfectly, apart from the fact that every time the picture changes the page flicks back to the top. Very annoying if you are reading things further down! I am a PHP man just starting to learn Javascript and don't understand why it is doing this,
Im a noobo in the world of Javascript but am trying to get my heard around it (shouldn't take too)Basicly what im trying to do is the following I have a drop down box that when changed will change an image, which i have got to work using the following cose
<HTML> <HEAD><TITLE>JS1</TITLE> <script LANGUAGE="JAVASCRIPT TYPE="TEXT/JAVASCRIPT"> <!-- image1 = new image(120,90)
I would like to know how to create such an effect using javascript. Example: This site (http://kreativity.ca/) , at the menu button (with the Home, About me,)
All i know how to do is using the mouseover effect, and then displaying an enlarged version of the image (thus creating a "drop down" effect). However, i do not know the code to make the image "drop down" gradually.
1) Script Title: Image Selector using selection list
2) Script URL (on Javascript Kit): http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/cut173.shtml
3) Describe problem: This script works great, however, I am using the script to show different color t-shirts. Each shirt needs to load a javascript file from the server (ie: you select Red and the Red shirt appears, but also calls the appropriate javascript file needed for the form to give you the correct pricing.
Can anyone help me here? I've got the javascript needed to load/unload the pricing info and I've got the javascript to change to shirt colors, but since the list box's value is already 'spoken for' to call the image, I don't know how to include the javascript to also change the pricing info.
I am trying to create a webpage. It has 3 frames (left, middle and right). I want to be able to drag images from the left and the right frame into the middle frame. Each time i try to drag an image from one frame to another , the image just disappears.
I am in need to drag and drop a image from a div to the form. But the original image should not be moved. It should remain in the same place. Only the clone of the image should be moved outside the div.
Is there a way to implement either a vertical drop down menu or a horizontal drop down menu on a "hot spot" on an image map where as when the mouse rolls over the "hot spot" the "hot spot" would change and the menu would drop and then would you be able to mouse over the elements in the drop down and go about your business?
I'm looking to take some images, and then once a mouse over a drop down menu appears, and it also changes the image of the button. Anyone know of a way to do this?
Something similar to the navigation menu on [URL].. You hover over a link and a box appears below that spreads the width of the menu itself. Friend of mine told me it was using actionscript but I have no idea how to create a drop down box (not menu). My friend told me Dreamweaver has the ability t create a drop down box but I have no idea.
Also does anyone know how to create an image slider similar to the one on that site? A slider that fades from one image to the next with the navigation arrows on the left and right side and the dots on top left?
I am playing with an idea I found, here is a demo, And while I like it's function, I would like to make a couple mods. 1) How do I remove an item from the built/filled image list
I have a problem with a drop down menu showing behind image slider (not flash), as the menu shows up behind the large image slider [URL]It only happens in FireFox.....
I have a drop down jquery menu with links and a image slide show with links. When I mouse over on the drop down menu, the drop down menu links go behind the image slide show [URL]
I'm using ul, li tags to create drop down menus. The images in my main nav bar change when mousing over the images. When I move the mouse over an image and go down to the links that appear in the drop downs, the image changes back to what it was before I moused over it.
Does anyone know of a javascript that will display the mousoever image in the main nav bar while mousing over the links in the drop-down menu?
I want an icon in my template that, when you click on that certain icon (image), a drop down menu appears. You know when you click the file option in your browser's toolbar, and a drop down menu appears? It can be just like that, but instead of save as and open, links will be there to places within our intranet opened in a new window. This has to work for IEX 7+ because that's all our company decides to use. I tried to submit a chang erequest for them to move to a better CSS/Javascript supportive browser such as Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome... but they're way too fixed on IEX for some odd reason.*edit* colors dont matter. It can be the default colors used in a basic drop down menu. I figure javascript would have more options though.
I have page here Untitled Document where when I select the drop down list value it will reassign the drag and drop function but it behave differently from this link Untitled Document where it drag and drop only on the picture and the drag image does not disappear?
