i have a drop down menu called DDvehAttr
there are 7 values in this drop down (which is preloaded via backend) and the values are 1-7.
when the user clicks on an image i would like to alter the selected value in the DDvehAttr drop down with an onclick event.
there are 7 images in total and i would hope to do something like the following:

below code seems to work perfectly with the exception that the background image isn't populated on select. Background color is working though.

I am implementing auto re-order drop down values in asp.net. My requirement is something: I have five drop down and each has populated using 1 to 5 values. when I changevalue from dropdown, other drop down values(numberordering)should change automatically.

It's not a must to change a specific option background color as is done in above line. I will be happy if, at least, is changed the drop box background color at IE, Mozilla and Opera, anyway to change it on a specific option value could be very good.
I have a dropdown menu and two checkboxs and when the user selects something from the dropdown menu I need it to change the text in the textbox field to 80. Then if the user checks off the first checkbox it'll add 20 to the total and if they select the next checkbox it'll add 30. When they change the textbox value it should uncheck the checkboxs and bring the value back to 80.

I'm building a website with a image menu like accordion, using jquery+easing+kwicks [URL]ith CSS, I can change the opacity of the element hovered (the opened kwick), but I'm looking to someway to change the opacity of the inactive kwicks (the images that close when you open a hovered image).I tried to do it with css, or hacking kwicks plugin, but I couldn't make it.

What I don't know is how to change the ActiveItem onclick to just bump it over to the next image as if the next image had been clicked. As of right now it opens the image source in a self window. I don't want that. Can anyone give me a clue or maybe the whole answer on how to get it to click over to the next image? I believe the answer lies in the contentflow_src.js file.

i cant get a caption specific to each image to display under the arrows when the image changes. it is especially hard for me because i have to edit the javascript which confuses the **** out of me. it seemed so simple....

If you need me to explain more I will try to do a better job. If I could be pointed in the general direction that would be great, I dont exactly need to be spoon-fed, although I do like spoons if you catch my drift .
I'm failing to get a pure CSS way to achieve this, so trying JS. Several small images in a row, each different. Want mouseover to:
1. change each image to different image on mouseover (each image has its own mouseover image version).
2. produce different paragraph of text below row of images on each mouseover.
I can achieve it with mouseover on text links or on an image, but not with the two events, viz mouseover image swap + mouseover text swap. Would also want to be able to style the text.
I want to make an moving image. In time it should change to other image with other button. Also it could be changed by user. The change should be dynamic like moving from left to right.
