what is the regular expression for a comma-separated list (in this case - IPs) ?My list looks like this: 192.168.0.1, 10.%.23.100, %.46.%.1So far I managed to create this:^[0-9%]{1,3}.[0-9%]{1,3}.[0-9%]{1,3}.[0-9%]{1,3}$But I don't know how to specify a comma-separated list of the above sequence.
I have a form which contains a few drop down lists. The contents of the dropdown lists are dependent on each other and are populated via php scripts which are called each time a selection is made or changed by the user. When the view results button is clicked in the form I need the user to be directed to a specific page based on the selections they have made. The url of the page they need to be directed to is really based on what has been chosen in the first dropdown.
The subsequent dropdowns form variables that I need to be sent to the page so that the data the user sees on that page is relevant.ie if the user has chosen bikes then a specific manufacturer then a specific price range the page they will be sent to will be the bike.php page with all the manufacturer specific bikes in their chosen price range visible. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about doing this please?I had thought about using the php header script along with an if statement but how do I then go about getting the variables sent to the page to be recognised?

I have a array called 'data' which is used globally as it is being used in other functions. Each data[i] has array of values like data[i]= "United States,Tennessee,Anderson"; I was trying this in javascript:
data=new Array(); function display(){ //window.open(_blank,'myWindow'); document.write("<table border='1'>"); for(var i=0;i<data.length;i++)
Working on a script that will add together dollar values in user selected drop downs and display on the page. I get the script to work if the total is to be displayed in a text box, but I want to do a document.write() to put it as a piece of text. I know the answer is simple, but I just don't have the experience to figure it out. I think it may have something to do with local/global scope of the variable.
i'm trying to build a small script for predicting Worldcup football winners. participants have to predict the teams in both the semi finals and final. a select menu with all participating countries will be given for 2 semi finals. suppose if a persons selects Argentina and Brazil for Semi 1, then the values of Final select menu should be Argentina and Brazil. Similarly for Semi 2, if Denmark and Italy selected, then the select menu for final2 should be Denmark and Italy.
my html (with only a few no. of countries is below:
[CODE] <b>Semi Final 1:</b><select id="semi11" class="select menufield_101" name="semi11" onchange="ChangeValue(this);"> <option value="empty">Select a SemiFinalist</option> <option value="Algeria">Algeria</option>
validation ' <strong>Email Validation for multiple emails (comma separated)</strong> ' for textarea. I am writing Regular expression but not able validating the given input with comma
The following form validation script works, currently if one of the five fields are completed, a message appears the remaining field(s) must be completed etc. Although the information the user has inputted in the first field is cleared. How can this information be available, if there is one problem in the form it doesn't make sense that the user must re-input all the information again. I look forward to hearing your response,
I want to be able to get the results of what the user has selected in all three drop downs and place it into a single text field eg. if a user selects Male then Dog then Australia. The text field updates either on change or on submit to what the user has selected.
With Java script when a user hits submit on a form on my site, is it possible to take the values from the form and submit them to another form on another Url without the user who submitted the form on my site knowing?
I have two drop down menus. I want two values to be added based on what they picked and then outputted to a text field to show a grand total in a dollar amount.
This is what I have:
Code:
Code:
Note I haven't did any type of code for the 2nd drop down menu just in case anybody says I don't see anything. I was working on trying to get started in the right direction.
I need to use Javascript or similar to do this, but not certain. I want to set up a form in HTML to sell photo prints. I'd like the user to be able to select a print size (eg 4x6 or 5x8 or 7x9) and as a result, two values are set:
1. the print size in text (eg Ɗ" x 6" print') 2. the price of the print (eg $5.00)
How do I code my form so that two values are set at once, and if the user changes their mind (eg selects 5x8), the two values are set again.
want to swap the contents of two textarea fields in my form when a hyperlink is clicked.i have the hyperlink and layout donw just want to know how i access and set the form fields to their new values,
I have 2 fields in a form, field1 is type hidden while field2 is type text. Both will have numbers in them. I need to compare these 2 in my form validation and having issues getting it to work right. If I do something similar to the following:if ((passForm.field1.value) < (passForm.field2.value) ) {alert.....It runs, but is running the validation, but is reading the values as text and literally left to right.
so for example If field1 = 12 and field2=3 it does not run the alert (wrong) If field1 = 12 and field2=100 it runs the alert (wrong)
I have a form that I am using to generate an email with several user selected fields being part of it. As part of this form, I have a select box which allows the user to select which email addresses it should be sent to. The box works great except that the CGI script I'm sending the values to can only parse a single line for each field in the form. The issue comes into play when someone selects more than one value in the select box, the output of the select box seems to separate each value on a separate line using a line feed (or carriage return, I can't tell). The format that the CGI script needs is for a single line with each of these values separated by a comma. I'm confident that a javascript can do this fairly easily, but unfortunately, I am not very well versed in javascript. I've found a few code snippets on the web that I've mangled together, but since I don't really know what I'm doing, it isn't working out so good. I've included what I have in the form right now below (note that I've removed all of the other form data but the select box code to save space). Code:
I have a form which is used to write recipes. I have a part of the form to list ingredients which uses 3 for fields, one for quantity one for measurement and one for the ingredient.Quantity is a text field and the other two are selects. The measurement select options are hard coded and the ingredients available are retrieved from a db and added with PHP. Under this I have a button that I would like to use to get the values of these form fields when clicked and apend to the value of a hidden form field which will be a multi dimensional array of those three values for each ingredient used. I would also like it to get the text values and print them to an empty element so the user can see what they are adding.
I have the perfect form for a client - but its missing one thing. She sells hair clips in various colors. A user can select a hair clip color and quantity quite easily (as seen in the code below). My issue is that she wants to be able to give the user a 'special price' based on the quantity ordered by the user. Contrary to simply adding the default price of $7 over and over again based on the quantity selected. The way I want it to work...
1 clip is $7 2 clips are $12 3 clips are $22 5 clips are....etc.
...however, with the way that the javascript is set up now I'm only able to select one default price. This means that whatever quantity is selected -- it's simply multiplied by the number 7 to provide a total.
1 clip is $7 2 clips are $14 3 clips are $21 5 clips are....etc.[code].....
i am developing a web application in which i have to retrieve the user browser and platform information. i am using javascript to get this information and tryin to pass these values to the html hidden form element. pasting a brief code from my application.
I am looking to build an expenditure calculator. What I am having problems with is I am using radio buttons to multiply form field values [radio1] = x 1 (week) [radio2] = x 4 (month) [radio3] = x 52 (year) So if you fill out a field and select [radio2] it multiplies the field by 4. If you then select [radio1] it reverts to the original value. Using JQuery what's the best way to do this. The issue I am having is I need to know the previous selected radio as well as the new one so I know whether to divide or multiply.
I have an ajax function which passes form field values to a PHP script which in turn saves the data to my database. all works great.
I now need to add a file input to my form and pass the file upload ot the same PHP script.
I have read an article [url] which explains how to do this but this would suggest it is a completely separate function.
My question is, is there anyway I can expand my existing function (below) to inlude the file upload process to save having 2 functions doing the same process?
I have 4 text boxes that are supposed to load 4 seperate values of data from one field in one table from a database. The field is called interface_cropsettings (from the interface table) and these values have been concatenated and comma seperated in this field.
Code:
Once the form is filled out and saved, the data is inserted into the database and the values from these 4 text boxes are concatenated, comma seperated and inserted into that one field correctly.
(Example)
If the 4 text boxes have the following values:
In the database field they become:
However, if the form is closed and then re-opened, each text box displays the entire database field rather then each value seperated in the corresponding text box.
(Example)
All 4 text boxes display this:
I already know why the data appears like this in the form, my problem is that I'm not sure how to write the javascript to seperate the values into the correct corresponding fields, assuming javascript is what I should be using!
Also, this is kind of irrelevant but just in case you're wondering, this form is part of a cold fusion application!
