JQuery :: Strange Incomplete Page Loaded?

May 18, 2011

We use WebSphere 6.1 as web server and the project is in ear file. After deployment, sometimes access server, the page was load incomplete, such as logo image (.gif) disappeared, and JavaScript error appeared. But after press on Refresh button from browser (IE), the page is loaded completed, all images are loaded and the JavaScript is gone.

[Code]...

We have tried to optimize the JSP page, however the page loaded is faster but this issue still occurred once in a while. Does anyone encounter the same issue before?

Incomplete Form Needs Mailto Function

Jul 11, 2011

I'm not aware of JS-Scripting, so I used phpform.org to create a contact form for my website. Now they give me the download link, but without the opportunity to send the data put in via mail (senseless demo-stuff). Now I count on you to find the area where to add the code for sending (all) the data to an emailadress. Here is the whole form in a zip file: [URL]

Asterisks Next To Incomplete Form Fields

Oct 4, 2010

I'm trying to make a site where when you click the submit button it puts an asterisk next to all of the incomplete fields while also displaying an alert box. I'm having no luck with it so far since I don't know how to get a script to print something to a specific part of a page. Here is what the whole thing looks like so far. I tried using page-jumping but that didn't work:

JQuery :: Triggering Click Event On Parent Page From A Page Being Loaded Via .html()

Jun 9, 2010

I am working on a page that will load in other pages using AJAX and the .html method. Something like this :

<span id = "edit">Edit</span>
<div id = "cont">
</div>
//the click edit script

[Code]....

Unfortunately this does not seem to work, entirely. It does trigger the click event but it messes up the post for some reason. I have played around with it for the last 45 minutes or so and it seems like the click event trigger is what is messing things up, if I comment it out it works fine. Could anyone tell me why they think this is? note this is an over simplified version of my actual code, but the structure is the same.

JQuery :: Can't Load A Page From A Loaded Page

I'm trying to load a page using the .load(url) from an already loaded page, but nothing responds. Below is a simple sample page created to show what I want to accomplish. Also, I'm using JQuery 1.3.

index.html

When the index.html page loads up, the page01.html loads into #mainview. And when I try to click on the <div id="clickme">Click Me!</div> inside page01.html to load page02.html, nothing works. Just can't figure out what's wrong...

JQuery :: Using Tabs In A Page Loaded With Ajax?

Aug 25, 2010

So, I'm working on a website that has tabs and nested tabs. So far they all work perfectly, there is just one thing I can't seem to figure out. There is a tab on the main site that is for members, so they click on it and it brings them to a login screen. Then when the user enters in the username and password, I want it to load another page with more tabs, but in the current tab. The page (with tabs) to be loaded is in a password protected part of the site.

JQuery :: Access From External Page Loaded In Div?

Jul 9, 2009

I have a main page with a folio div that is hidden. I'm using jQuery to unhide AND load that div with an external file (keeps the main page file size low). Now that I have the external file loaded into the div, there is a link to a jQuery lightbox image gallery.

However, that jQuery call is unable to access the code and launch the slideshow. I've tried placing the <script> tags on the loaded file as well to no avail. Are there any solutions, or can an external file not pass jQuery calls to its host page?

JQuery ::Possible To Load A Page After Website Has Fully Loaded?

Feb 16, 2011

I am pretty new to jQuery and my programming skills are almost non-existent.

But I was wondering; is it possible to create something which will load a page (or php include) when the website has been fully loaded with a loading bar?

The reason why I want this, is cause I am building a website and it will have a ping (to severs) script, but it takes a "long" time to load (depending on the servers that are being pinged). So it can take anywhere from 2 or 3 seconds to 10 seconds (or even more). So it would be nice that first the website would be loaded completely and when that's done, it should load the ping script and show that it's loading with a loading bar.

Is this possible and easy to do?

JQuery :: Images Have Opacity Value Immediately - Instead Of When The Page Is Loaded?

Jun 12, 2009

In my application I've the small line:

THis is very nice effect and more easy to use than the CSS method. I'll use this for some hover states.

Problem is that the opacity starts when the page is loaded. So you see the images 'flash' from normal to 'opacity: 25'.

Is there a method so the images have the opacity value immediatly, instead of when the page is loaded? Like a step before 'document.ready'. Or is the only way, the CSS way?

Dynamically Change The Font Family Of The Loaded Html Page Of The Main Page?

Nov 4, 2010

On my webpage, I dynamically create an iFrame when a button is pressed, then load a html page from within my own domain into the iframe, based on what html page is loaded into a variable. My question is, can I dynamically change the font family of the loaded html page from the javascript of the main page? My code to create the iframe is:

function setSubTxt(){
var par = document.getElementById('parentDiv');
par.innerHTML = '<iframe src="'+subTxt+'" style="width: 375px; position: fixed; height: 365px; left: 400px; top: 145px; border=none;" name="subIframe" frameBorder=0></iframe>';
frames['subIframe'].window.location=subTxt;
document.subIframe.document.body.style.fontFamily = "Arial";
[Code]....

the variable "subTxt" has the url of the html page to be loaded (always on the same domain). The code: document.subIframe.document.body.style.fontFamily = "Arial"; was my attempt to dynamically change the font, but it didn't work. Also, it should be noted that there is no font family set in the html pages which would override this.

JQuery :: Unable To Access The Raw CSS Code That Has Been Loaded For The Specific Page?

Feb 24, 2011

I would like to be able to access the raw CSS code that has been loaded for the specific page. I'm not looking to change the code (I know how to use jQuery for CSS manipulation etc...) I just want to parse through it and extract some useful information.I considered just loading the stylesheet references in the page, then placing a request to the server for the .css file, but this feels messy even if the browser happens to have the page cached from having just requested it.Has anyone got a clue as to how one would go about this? As always, I think its best if it uses jQuery XD, however, I just really want to get this done
