normally, this would work --

but the above formulation doesn't..... is there some diff way?
I was wondering if it is possible to put all the non null variables of an array into a string variable with spaces between each array value? For example, if array() is a text array and has 10 values, array(0) through array(9), with three of those values null, let's say array(3), array(5), and array(7) are null, is there a way to put the remaining seven values into a string variable with spaces between each array value?

Okay so looking at that you can probably get the feeling for what I want to do. why I want to do this, as obviously the above code makes no sense and can be done with arrays, but I assure you I have a purpose for doing what I want to do.
The question is, can I put a variable, like x, into a new variable's name? The idea is that the code above generates three new variables:
game0
game1
game2
I've tried using brackets and parentheses, I've tries so many things. I've even tried using the eval() function.
So, again, in short, can I place a variable into another variable's name?
I am trying to use a variable for a css like: tab_infocenter.css({position:relative;left:tempX;)where tempX is a variable. Its giving me error. So what is the correct way to do it?

I would like to create a function that will change the colour of a button when clicked then change it back at the end of the function. It works by capturing the backgroun color an then storing it as a variable. However it refuses to capture the original background color if the style is set via an external CSS style sheet. It only works if i set the style via the element markup. Am i doing something wrong and is there any way of capturing the style set by a external stylesheet?

I have found several sites that will give you stylesheet switches for HTML, XHTML, but not XML. When I search for an XML stylesheet switcher I'm getting information on XSLT. Which I do not want to use at this time. I want the stylesheet switcher to be a JavaScript function since I know how to evoke functions with XUL menu overlays the form of XML used to create Firefox extensions. I'm not looking for somebody here to know XUL. I would just like a function which you know would work with XML to try in my XUL form of XML to see if it will work. A link that would give me this function or information on how to write it would be good to. I am a newbie to both XML and Firefox extension writing. I spent all they reading about XML hoping it would give me the answer but it didn't. I have seen some information which seems to say that XML as similar stylesheet capabilities to HTML so I know that.

This seems to work perfectly across all browsers except for IE (latest version).
In IE the only problem is that the radio buttons have to lose focus before the span will change to visible. I would like the "specify" field to display immediately after the radio button changes to yes, rather than waiting for the buttons to lose focus.

I am using this javascript code to run 'onclick' to change my href class style. It works to change the style, but when I click on the next menu item, the previous one is not reverted back to how it was previously, but the formatting is stripped away leaving the link purple with no background image. How do I get it to revert to the original class which is set?
