Radio Buttons Change Html Display Style (IE)

In an html form, I want a certain field to be invisible when "no" is checked and visible when "yes" is checked.
This is my code:
html:

<input name="radioBool" type="radio" value="1" onchange="dispField('textInput');" />yes

This seems to work perfectly across all browsers except for IE (latest version).
In IE the only problem is that the radio buttons have to lose focus before the span will change to visible. I would like the "specify" field to display immediately after the radio button changes to yes, rather than waiting for the buttons to lose focus.

I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...
I've been testing using the code below but wondered if anyone had any ideas on how this could be done easily?

I am having trouble getting the following code to work. I just want to make the script in the head work, the html in the body is to stay as it is. I want to use an array. I can make it work very well without an array, using separate conditional statements for each radio button, but that is cumbersome. I am building an online store where the customer can select custom parts. I'm quite new to javascript, but I've managed to create a radio button list, where the price is added from each section. I would like a box to show all of the options selected, not just the sum total.
I've included the text with value and used parseInt. I have been told I can use value.split(" "), but I don't really know how to go about doing that. I've been fiddling for hours now and don't seem to be able to get anywhere.
I would also like to include a 3rd value, another number, and add that one in a separate calculation.
E.g. For "50 5850ati1gb 56" I would like one calculation which adds 50 to the total, another calculation adding 56 to a different total and 5850ati1gb added to a list of all of the components.

I don't know if it's appropriate to discuss a JS library here, but I'm wanting to use jQuery to toggle the display of content based on a selected radio button. Here's an example HTML

Obviously the idea is that only one block is displayed at a time. I'm happy to get the effect anyway possible, but I do want to use jQuery because I believe it will be easier in the long run.
What I don't know how to do is to use the value of a selected radio option to show a block with the same ID as the value. I'm also not sure if I'm correctly select a name when I use $("[name='toggler']").
EDIT: Actually, I don't seem to be able to select the radio buttons using any other method than $("input"). Even if I give each input the same class I can't select it using $(".toggler").

I have a page with two radiobuttons - 'Rent' and 'Buy'. I want the content below the buttons to change with respect to the radio button selected. I have a html form that uses javascript for validation, this is an assignment that consists of a form that sells hard drives from three different manufacturers, more specifically the part im stuck on is where if a manufacturer hoes have a number in the number of drives textbox, javascript needs to check to see that one of the radio buttons in that row is checked, if no radio button is checked
an alert is displayed, however when I do select a radio button I still get the alert I used a "if...else if...else" construction but my logic is not well structured and thereby I get those problems, I have included the code down below if anyone is interested in helping a newbie out code...

I'm trying to get a radio button validation for different sets of radio buttons that simply contains Yes & No buttons.
Here's what I'm trying to do:
Question 1: if Yes, then (Alert 1) if No, then (Alert 2) (if Yes, then Question 2 appears) *Up to here I'm happy- can't figure out the rest*
Question 2: if Yes, then (Alert 1) if No, then (Alert 2) (if Yes, then Question 3 appears)
I need the Alerts to be swapped from this point*
Question 3: if Yes, then (Alert 2) if No, then (Alert 1) (if NO, then Question 4 appears)
Identical for Question 5, and for Last Question 6 Alerts swapped back again.)

I have a set of radio buttons each with an onclick event that has a numeric value. When the button is clicked an input box called "Total" is updated with the new value. The problem I'm having is that if a radio button is checked and one clicks on it again then the onclick event is triggered.
Is there any way to prevent the onclick event from triggering if the radio button is already checked?

I want my radio buttons to become submit buttons as well. So when a user clicks on a radio button it submits the action and refreshes the page accordingly. As of now using only using onclick="this.form.submit()" the page only refreshes with no change. Here is a copy of the entire form. It is a custom shipping options form (I did not create it).

I just don't see any possibility to change the height of a button. I am developing an application to list many articles. The height of the collapsible buttons/select buttons is therefore to large, i want the buttons to be as small as possible.
