Oct 22, 2010I have a parent/child scenario where the child is a pop-up "control panel" with hyperlinks that control the parent page. The idea is to click a link and it changes the parent to whatever URL ...BUT... the kicker here is that the parent page is in PHP and is receiving a value from the javascript function.I have everything working EXCEPT that I can't get the value from the hyperlink that i need to pass to the PHP.Everything I fund about getting values in JS involves a "getElementby ID" type of command, but that isn't going to work here because there are several hyperlinks. I'm also trying to avoid using an array and looping through it.I know this must be a simple problem for veteran Javascripters!HTML FROM CHILD (I made the ID and Value both "2" just for testing purposes):

The problem is, that the links inside the table are not active. If i click them, the accordion is closing What do i have to do, to keep the links inside the open accordion as normal links, without closing the accordion?
Can't Link Out Of Link Inside Rotating Tabs?
Sep 5, 2009I cant link out of link inside rotating tabs. The rotation is working fine. I have no problem with it. Bellow is the index.html page with <script type="text/javascript" src="tabcontent.js"></script> wich ofcourse has the JScript that is making it work. You will see another small Jscript on the index.html page that I've been using to try to make the links work, but to no avail.

When admin chooses to delete a page from his site via this link:

Before this actually gets processed, i would like to alert admin, with a box, asking if he is sure or not, so he gets the option to regret his choise. onClick="(return confirm('Are you sure you want to delete the page?'))" Link Not Working Inside Popup Window?
Sep 15, 2010I am using JavaScript for popups in my OpenLayers map. All the html tags like <br> work in the popup window except for the link href tag. Everytime I put in a link in my popup window it doesnt work:

Also tried link without quotes and with ticks and nothing seems to work with the link not taking me anywhere.

Make Webpage Jump To Top When Link Inside Iframe Is Clicked?
Apr 6, 2007My website uses a very tall iframe to display catalog pages from an external website. I'm using iframes here to make it look like the external catalog pages are on my webpages.
The problem is that when a visitor goes to my page, scrolls down to view all the contents inside the iframe, and then clicks a link inside the bottom of the iframe to goto the next page, that next catalog page will load inside the iframe, but the visitor will still be looking at the bottom of the iframe on my website, and thus has to scroll up to the top of my website to see the top of the iframe's contents.

How can I make it so when someone clicks a link inside the iframe, that the page with the iframe automatically scrolls to the top appearing as if the whole website has refreshed?

I have come up with this so far but is wont allow me to let the user 'show more email fields' a second time. I dont know how to write the javascript to allow this? When I tried duplicating the divs and adding a 'show more' link inside the first hidden div it just showed both sets when I clicked.

Mar 7, 2011I'm having issues with jquery and the tabs I'm using. My tabs work but... I want some more functions and that seems to be a big problem for a Javascript and jquery newby.

I really don't know if this is correct but it works! What doesn't work is the active class. If you use one of the buttons in the first tab you go to the right tab but the tab itself has no class called active and that ruins the style.

I also have one other question: lets say that all the above is my second page and I have my frontpage in which I also have buttons. I want somebody to use the button and end up in the third tab of page 2. My link is something like

I read that using this should lead you the third tab but it's not working for me. You go to the first tab of page 2 instead.
