I have a web page where I want the user to click a button to see a pop
up window where they can browse files on their computer to upload and
then when they click the submit button have the popup close and the
form to be submitted to the main window.
I have this page where one enters statistics (Goals, Assists) and a function that sums the two and enters the value in a third field TP. I first implemented this function in a pop-up window only with the actual stats table, and it worked like a charm. When I tried to use the same functionality in a table that is placed inside another table and another <TD> tag, it does not work as designed. See problem description further down.

Problem: Instead of filling the TP field of the actual row, it fills all TP fields on the page, that is for all rows.
HOWEVER, if I remove the top row (<td width="817" bgcolor="white" valign="top">), so that the table is not inside that TD, it works fine.
How should I adjust the script to make it work inside the TD?
Im trying to submit a form , which holds another form tags inside (i must do it this way) the problem is that this doesn't work on IE, while it works perfect on Firefox
the button seems to have no effect on the page... its like it is not connected to the form....

I have a form that is in a popup window. I need the form to submit to the opener window. Is is possible to do that? The opener window is the main window so it is does not have a name and there are no framesets.

If I take the code out of the div=id"test" the form appears on the normal page and submits just fine. Inside the test div tho the modal window pops up with the form inside but the submit button does nothing.
Basically, I have a form with two submit buttons. One is called "Save", and the other is "Preview". I want the "Save" button to submit the form using normal means (replace the current window).. but the "Preview" button must submit the form into a new window.
Can this be done? I started a thread about this in the HTML forum, and some have said it can be done via javascript, so here I am.
Can I pass the form contents (input tags, etc..) to some kind of javascript function and then have the form submit into a new window? Will I still be able to have the "Save" button NOT open a new window?
