I've been trying to create an inline SVG document inside a div using javascript. I cannot seem to figure this out. What I want to do is create a <svg> element and apply some shapes and colors to it via javascript (or ecmascript if I need to). I have googled this and found that you need to have a valid XHTML+XML document in order for this to work.

I want to display a table with five images (tumbnails) per row with the name of the image (my code number for the image) under it. I want 4 rows of images for a total of 20 images (tumbnails).
I want when someone clicks on one of the tumbnail images a new window opens with the fullsize image displayed.
I have written an html page that does this but I have over 50 such pages that I need to create for my website. Here is the code that does this for each table image cell. Code:
I have an ASP.NET web-app that consists of a master page and several .aspx pages that use that master page.
1. problem: If I include the jQuery library in the master page at the bottom right before </body> (and after the content placeholder), then in my .aspx pages I am unable to use jQuery because it is included "below" all JS code defined in the pages.

Normally an SVG document is loaded/parsed/interpreted inside an HTML
document using an 'object' (or 'embed') element, although there are
supposedly other ways too. The problem is, the SVG document must be
static this way.
I want to use the DOM interface to build SVG dynamically inside an HTML
document. I am guessing I can build it inside HTML within an 'object' (or
maybe 'iframe'?) element.
My intentions/goals:
In Javascript, I construct an object 'embedSVG' which has properties and
methods for creating valid SVG elements and setting their attributes and
attribute values.
During construction, the SVG document is created with its root element.
During debugging in FF 2.0 (I'll work on an MSIE-compatible format later),
I am using the Mozilla DOM Inspector and comparing nodes when the
'object' element is loading a valid external SVG document, and when I am
appending the child representing the SVG document created by the DOM
functions.
However the child node (#document) does not specify 'svg' as the root
element, but instead 'HTML'. Something is not working.
Here is the relevant code in 'ScriptTest.html' which is the HTML in which
the SVG is supposed to be embedded. Below it is the relevant code for
'svglib.js' which is supposed to contain code for building the SVG
dynamically.
What this code is supposed to do is load the HTML page and execute the
anonymous script, and draw a navy blue-bordered yellow rectangle on a
blank page. This is similar to the example in the SVG 1.1 W3C
Recommendation on page 202 of the 719-page PDF.
I am getting an exception when embedSVG object placeInHTML() method is
called: NS_ERROR_DOM_HIERARCHY_REQUEST_ERR. I find in DOM Inspector in
spite of or after the exception that a document is placed as a child of
the object element, but it is HTML, with a default 'head', 'title',
'body' elements placed.
Where am I blowing it?
Im trying to set up a XML document object within a class declaration(mozilla only):

Somehow, the isLoaded property doesnt seem to be set to true when i
create an instance of the class. I tryied passing the object instance
through an argument

but i get even weirder results. Any ideas?
I'd like to do to do something similar as document.write() but instead of creating a new document,I would like to write inisde a div. What I have is a variable with the name of a url that the client has given me from a prompt. And now I want to write that as a link inside the div.

Apparently, when the browser renders a <table> tag and before it reaches the </table> end tag, any document.write actions in Javascript get deferred execution till closure of table instead of occuring at runtime as they are parsed. Code:
I'm trying to create a php form which is auto completed after onchange
action of a drop down.
I've created a js file and linked it to a PHP file, which is linked
with a XML file.
Inside the PHP - after i tried to print the response and got a blank
one:

I've tried to print after creating the DomDocument, but it probably
doesn't work, because it doesn't print anything:

If i put the print $q before the Dom creation: $xmlDoc=new
DomDocument(); it does print.
How can i create the DOM without an error? where is my mistake?

I have a webpage (on a Drupal website) which is currently using the jquery tabs javascript. Each tab dynamically loads content through an Ajax Call.Drupal has a javascript file called tabledrag.js which allows the users to order the elements of a table by dragging them up and down in the list and this will reflect the elements position when you submit the form. When the content of the Ajax tab loads, I need the document.ready code (or drupal.behaviours, the equivelent) to fire off.However, this code has already fired when the page first loaded, as opposed to the content inside the ajax tab. How can I force reload the tabledrag.js so that it will re-run its document.ready behaviour?

Obviously, I will need to do this using javascript and the onClick event. To make things even more complicated, I also want some DIV's inside of the dynamically created DIV. I'm trying to integrate PayPal's MiniCart on my site, and I don't have much javascript experience. I did however find that this little blip of code is what's used to position where the cart is placed on the HTML page that contains the script. Here's my problem - I want to be able to create this element inside a div that already exists on the HTML page. Is this possible?

I've posted several messages concerning a program I am working on which uses a webform to create a document at the end.
So far I am able to create the doc and copy to clipboard for pasting using the c[code]...
What I would like to do is create a new word doc and populate it with the created document. I've tried with no success using activeX etc. The best I could do was to open an existing word doc, but could not populate it. I need it to open a new blank word window, as it is not practical to have a specified word file already there.

I want to create an animation with this dots so each one will set its opacity from 0 to 1 a tenth of a second one after the other. I know this should be very simple to do with a loop but I don't know how to loop through the divs inside a master div.I have a few lines of code from jquery to set opacity but other than that I dont know how to do what I want.
