Adding the form action to users.php doesn't help 'cause the checkboxes don't retrieve the updated data.

I have a php form and it has 3 submit buttons namely "delete" , "update_quantity" and "place_order".They all work fine but I want to build in a check for each one just in case the user click one of the buttons by mistake.So Each one must have a different message like for delete it must be, "Are you sure you want to delete Record nr ......" OK or Cancle.
And for update " Are you sure you want to update Quantity to....." OK or Cancle.

The 10 digit code can be just numbers/letters (eg. 0123456789 or abcdefghij) or it can be a mixture (eg. 0a1b2c3d4e). What I would like is if the user enters a code which is a mixture of numbers and letters then the submit url goes to mixed.php If the user enters a code which just has letters or numbers then the submit url goes to sole.php change the url from selecting radio buttons.

I can tell which one was clicked after the form has been submitted but I need to check it client side. Here's why: I am doing form validation using the onSubmit event, but I only want to validate if one of the buttons was clicked and not the other.
What's the best way to do this? I thought about having a hidden form field that I set with the onClick of the button I don't want to validate. Is this the best way?

I tried checking myform.Submit.value in my form validation but it comes up "undefined". I guess it isn't defined until the values are actually posted to the server. Or am I missing something here?

I have a form where I click a button and it duplicates the inputs thus now having X of the same inputs. The input name looks like so:

Is there a way I can check the all values of the quantity before submitting the form? I want to make sure they've chosen a quantity other than 0.
I'm probably not writing this the proper way, but I have code that almost works.

The error message shows and hides properly based on whether the select menu value is "" or not, but if the value is not "" the form doesn't submit.

This script is a search engine, when you look for something say the word "titanic", it shows you a list of results with numbers, being the first link with the higher number (kinda like a score), and then after u click the link you want he goes to the respective page. Now I want him to skip the results page, and directly open the first link that he founds on the page.

i have a free js script for a search engine, pretty simple, i define the key words and the .html associated to them. But when i enter a word he starts listing the matches he found and rate them by number, being the highest number the most probable match!
Now what i want to is to SKIP the listing, and redirect automatically for the .html of the first match he finds .

I'm using the submit and ajax functions to check a form. When the form is submitted the submit event executes and within that event the data (a code the user has to fill in) is sent to the server to check if it's correct. If it is correct, the submit event supposes to return true (so the form submits), if it's incorrect the submit event supposes to return false (so submitting the form cancels).
Here's my code that should do this:

But here's the problem: While jQuery does the ajax request, the script continues. So it will return false - even if the code is validated - because the var submit has been set to false at line 4. When I submit the form again, the form is validated because 'submit' is true (but that's set to true the first time). How can I ensure the submit function waits for the ajax request to finish?

I'm working with spry validation but i guess i need to add some kind of onSubmit event, with javascript. I have some idea but not sure what to fill in by the "if statements" in the script.

I have a form script that is made up of Text boxes, radio buttons, and drop down boxes. What I am wanting to happen is upon clicking submit at bottom of form, it should run a check to make sure all questions have been answered. So far it catches all the text boxes, but it's not catching the radio buttons or drop down boxes.. I have all of this under 1 form name ( is this where my problem is located? do I need to seperate into different form names based on type?) I am not wanting the answer given too me ( at least not yet ). I have done a search for multiple types of validation. But nothing seemed to clcik... i have a list of checkboxes, the number of checkboxes is dynamic. All the checkboxes have same name. i am trying to get the length of selected checkboxes.

I am a php programmer and not a Javascript programmer and I am trying to help a friend out with his shopping cart. I have an .asp page for my customers which does just accepts e-mail information and passes this information to another .asp page. But before passing the info, a javascript checks whether the entered e-mail does match some certain rules. Rule1: If any input has been made at all, Rule2: If an "@" sign is there, if the"." is there and so on. upon pressing the submit button, the first rule works but the second rule does not. Could not figure it out why.

It is the function control() which validates the e-mail field. But it just validates whether the e-mail has been entered or not. The second check (with the @ sign) is not being made.
