I found his basic code online for a popup login but I don't know how to get the information from it either into php variables or whatever i need to do code...
I put the css on a separate page and just copied the login link and the javascripts. I don't know how to get the information into php variables so i can check it with the database.
I know I'm just asking for the answer but I don't know javascript and i don't want to spend a month learning it just for a login form. If your going to just say go learn javascript then don't post .

I have made a website that you need a password to get into. The following javascript code works in Internet Explorer but, I need it to work in Safari also. Can anyone please rewrite this code, as simple as possible, to work in both Safari and Internet Explorer?

works great! however, when someone views the source code, they're able to see what the password is. additionally they can see the url of the page it would take them if they entered the password. how do i protect against this vulnerability?

In Chrome, the login page on my schools educational online platform doesn't remember the login info. So i made a bookmark with this javascript injection, that fills in the info, and focusses on the 'aanmelden' button (='login' in dutch), so that i only have to press enter to continue. I want two buttons: one for login and another for logout. Initially login button is enabled and logout button is disabled. When I click on login button, the logout button should get enabled and the login button should get disabled. And after that, when i click on logout, the login button should get enabled and the logout button should get disable.

I've managed to open the login form in fancybox. When visitors login, the page opens in the i-frame itself. I am writing a script on a page that may or may not include a login form. For example-after a visitor logs in, the login form is no longer on the page, but other content is still there. I want to bring focus to the login form using the onLoad in the body tag.....but if the login form does not exist, I do not want to perform this function.

I'd like to have one form that has username and password at the top and if that is all the user supplies, then try to log him in. Otherwise, validate all fields for registration.
The problem then lies in the remainder of the form which has email, name and password confirmation. I still want to run validate on those fields but ONLY if the user has typed at least one character in any one of them.
Is there a way to do this? Or an example somewhere? Can validate for certain fields only be turned on IF a certain other condition is met?
I have this ajax login plugin. If login ok, reload the document, else diaplay an error message above the login form. It works fine, execpt if hit keyboard enter button instead of click the submit button, it has no response. How to make the default keyboard enter button work?

I work for a very large company that has zero communications between IT and the employees...so there is very little possibility of having any code changed.I need to use a web based system that submits orders for my department. The problem is i must order by "task number". I could have 20-30 task numbers so to complete the order I need to go to my company's page and fill out 15 form fields and submit for each task code. It is a terrible pain. 14 of the 15 fields are the same for each order... only the task code changes.
I'm doing 1 web-system, where login page in .jsp but other functional page in .html where I use javascript to do function. So if user knows any other html page's url then they can browse directly any of those page. But I've to prevent them & send to login page if they try to browse with out login. Very sad I can't do it
I have created my second Form to File Web Form but basically I took my First Web Form coding (with the Java Script) and manipulated it so that it suited my needs for my 2nd Form (both are very close to being the same).For some reason, I can't get my Java Script validation to take effect. I have a form with two basic radio buttons to confirm deleting a record from a database. But I also want to add an extra popup box to confirm a second time, just to be 100% sure this record should be removed from the database.
I followed a few articles I found from Google to get the code, but I have no expierence with JavaScript.I get a popup box when I click the button but it doesn't do anything. When the user clicks cancel on the popup box, I want nothing to happen at all. But when they click "Continue" I want the popup box to submit the form in its current state.
There is a lot of PHP and I'm not sure that I can even post all of it here, but this is the rendered page, so I think that is all that will be needed?Its ok the customer data is displayed on this code, its a sample database to test. The data isn't real.

To be clear:
1. The user presses DELETE on another page, and is directed to the delete_confirm.php 2. The customer information is displayed in a form. 3. The message is shown "Do you want to delete this record". 4. The user selects the "Yes" radio button and submits the form. 5. One additional security the user gets a popup box "ARE YOU REALLY SURE?" 6a. The user clicks "Continue" and the page is submitted. (PHP will handle accessing MySQL) 6b. The user clicks "Cancel" and nothing happens. They just stay on the delete_confirm.php page.
The form works fine with the submit button, but I wanted to add just one popup box as extra security.
