Why does this code work in IE and Firefox and the second example does
not work in IE. While these are just sample scripts, my actual scripts
will be transferring options from one multi-select list to another. I
want the most recently added one to scroll into view.

I am updating my web pages so that they work in FireFox but I have come across a problem with my divs. I am unable to scroll use the mouse wheel. The scroll bars are visible and I can manually move them up and down but it just doesnt seem to work using the mouse wheel. This feature works fine in IE. I have set the styles of my divs to overflow:auto.

Problem here is on the Mac the transition are jumpy and it seems to flash the first yellow div before sliding up or down. Testing on a PC it will slide down but won't slide up. How can I get the whole browser window to slide up and down with a smooth transition.
im searching for a plugin/code example for text scrolling. I got some text in a <div> if text is longer than for example 300px it gets cut and is scrolling from start to end, stops for a second and then scrolls back, stops and all over, and if its not long enough than 300px then just displays normaly. The problem is ie6 fires first change event right after any other event, like selecting again, clicking mouse, pressing a key etc. It is perfectly seen on [URL]... Just click any option in demo, nothing will happen.
If i put a handler using plain DOM, i.e. $("select").get(0).onchange = function() { ... } the problem dissapears. So, it's definitely a bug with jquery. JQuery version 1.4.2.

I have a web application which has two DIV, one is main and one is child. I am having problem in printing multiple pages. There is a lot of data in the child DIV and I am using JavaScript functions to control the print functionality. When i print using window.print(), only the data on the main page currently being showed is printed. I further researched and checked out the Style.Overflow property. Now I am using divMain.style.overflow = "visible". After this the complete print comes. But in Firefox, the scroll bar disappears and only single page is left with no scroll bar.
