Can JavaScript work with polygons image witch was created in Photoshop? I mean capture polygons coordinates and make these polygons interactive? I have a very simple task to be done - draw a map with thousands of polygons, each polygon must have its properties and be interactive. And there will be circle-shape objects that user can move through the polygons on a distance for instance two-three polygons in a round. And these circle objects must also have their properties. So I decided to draw polygon-map in Photoshop and do the rest in JavaScript. But I have doubts - can JavaScript "see" these polygons and operate with them or Photoshop-made image is not good for this.
The code below creates images based on a json feed, no problem. All images are created and the click function works perfectly, but... I can't access any of the images by their id's so I can't make thefunctionbehave as I wan't.
I first thought jQuery appended my image object as html and didn't insert it as a valid object in the dom, but as the click function is working that can't be it?
I found some other people had the same problem but they were using vanilla js, their solution was using .appendChild() but thatdoesn'twork in jQuery.
I need to know that is there any script available which allows me to upload an image and after uploading it will allow me to crop an image like we do in photoshop via pen tool. In photoshop when we use pen tool, it apply nodes against the images and user can easily change nodes via mouse to change the position of cropping. Is there any type of script available which provides this functionality?
Currently I have a range of images some portrait in size and some landscape, what I want to do is batch resize these images so they all fit the fixed dimensions of 180px x 120px.I understand that you can add .jsx files into the scripts folder of photoshop but right now I can only find scripts that resize the image based on 1 side which isnt that helpful.Does anyone know were I could find examples of the code I need or can anyone offer me some advice?
What I have at the moment is 8 images generated by WordPress Custom Fields; 4 thumbnails and their corresponding images. The 4 bigger images are all positioned absolutely so they sit on top of each other. The 4 thumbnails are just below and are floated <li>'s. When I click on the thumbnail, I want to add the class of "current", which sets the opacity of the image to 1.0, and remove the class of "current" from the currently visible image, which sets the opacity to 0.0.
What I'd like to do is remotely link the thumbnails (each of which have an anchor tag) to their corresponding images. Each set of 4 images is in its own <ul> and its own <div>, but all wrapped up in one wrapping div.
The jQuery that I'm trying to work out is:
jQuery("#contactThumb li a").click(function() { var jQueryThumbRel = jQuery(this).attr("rel"); var jQueryImageRel = jQuery("#contactImage li img").find(jQueryThumbRel); jQuery("#contactImage .current").removeClass("current");
I have a photo editing business with many people working in Photoshop. I am currently developing a web based application (joblist) using Javascript and PHP which should allow the photoshop designers to browse and open files/images directly from joblist/web browser into photoshop. The reason I want this instead of browsing folder is that I have a database where I store who worked on which file, when and how long it took. The concept is that, designers will select a file and click on start, as soon as they click on start the original file will open in Photoshop and there will be an entry into database (using PHP).
Once they finish the task they will close the file and click on Finish button. My joblist application will be published in a local server and the file will be open on a local network, so when they save the file it will be saved where the source file is located in (local server). The application should work in both PC and Mac. How to write the code (PHP or Javascript) which can open the file from browser (local server) directly into desktop application e.g. PHotoshop or Illustrator?
how to change images based on action. Even clicking changed images should do respective actions. and while displaying only one image at a time sholud get displayed. I am using three images for a single column of a table in Jsp. Code:
What I'm looking to do is have a folder of images that I have show up on my website.I'm also looking to pull from this folder up to 6 or 7 times on the same page w/ randomized pictures that do not repeat. Finally, I'm looking to be able to size and name these images based on which image randomly pulls. b/c it's not grabbing the images.
I have to do a slideshow with images of different widths... am using cycle plugin, which I like very much... I have a little test slideshow here, http:[url]....it's not centering imgs in containing div (I made div width of widest image.. this will work for my situation, in which imgs will be hard-coded..)if you inspect img element in firebug (#slideshow img), it shows that the plugin adds a style of position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px .to the img; why does the plugin do this.. how can I center the images in containing div...
I need to refresh multiple images on my site. So every time the page gets refreshed the images need to change. It worked fine with the script below, but this is only related to 1 image
I tried to copy the script and change the "ID's" but this does not do the job.
I am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.
Iīve just launch my website-portfolio, well itīs not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result Iīve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesnīt happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.
Follow the link to the page were the bug happens - [url]. I'm using jquery cycle plugin, check it out.
I am working on a small gadget which downloads a series of images from the web and displays the images in a loop. However i am having trouble saving the xmlhttprequest to a file to use later in an array. I have read that it should be easy to save the .png using Scripting.filesystemobject but have been unable to find any information on how to do it.
i used setTimeout() function in my image gallery to scroll images , i used setTimeout("myfunction()",1) in my script. Now my image gallery is working properly but problem is that the speed of scrolling images if normal in firefox, but in internet explorer it is slow, and in google chrome it is very fast , Sir how to resolve this problem
I prefer jQuery over flash and not sure how to tackle this, so please advise as best you can. Trying to create a site that allows for images to go full browser and then have the ability to have the other images slide in based on a click.
I also want to float a menu that will allow it to pull in other media (video, that would slide in the same way). The best example I can share is this: http://j.mp/5U79i1 What he is using is flash based (slideshowpro director and slideshow pro for flash). Not interested in flash for this personal project.
There is a slideshow on my website that reads in the address of local images and puts them in a slideshow rotation to be displayed on the page. I currently have to "hard code" the addresses in, similar to the JavaScript below:
However, I want to be able to place images in the Images directory without having to make sure the files are named the same as in the code. I would like JavaScript to go out to a local directory, see what's in there, grab anything in jpeg format (regardless of the name), and put it in the slideshow rotation.
I'm having difficulty loading images via Ajax on a site that I've been working on.I'm performing the ajax by using the Request.HTML object of the MooTools framework. Basically, I'm just passing some parameters to a php script which outputs some image tags and then I insert that HTML into a pre-defined content div. For some reason though, it seems that big images don't seem to load consistently when using this technique. Usually, they will just show up as broken images, but when I navigate to the url of the image that is 'broken', it displays just fine. Also, occasionally after navigating to the actual url of the image, my browser will cache the image and then it will display just fine when loading it through Ajax.
I am trying scrolling of images as like: [url]. I do want to set border for the images with border property as "2px solid #000" and i do want gap between the images so that the horizontal gap value is 20px.
I tried even with image border propoerty and image style properties both border and padding as 0 20px. Both not working properly. The style padding property is working fine in firefox and google chrome. But it is working in IE 6.0
I have a number of images placed on a map (the images are dots indicating a location)
When clicked, that displays different textual information somewhere on the page. View here and click the dots on the map for what I am trying to explain: [url]
What I want to do now is to toggle these dots so that when clicked, the dot turns white. This I could do with some code I found on the net. However, I need it to toggle all images. In that if one image has been clicked and turned white, and then the user clicks a different black ot, then that black dot should turn white, and the white dot should turn back clack.
When prefetching images, why do I need the "if (document.images)" statement?
if (document.images) { pic1on= new Image(300,300); pic1on.src="pic1.gif"; pic2on= new Image(); pic2on.src="pic2.gif"; picNon= new Image(); picNon.src="pic4.gif"; }
All I've been able to find everywhere for this is examples of changing images when rolling over them or clicking them, and I don't need that.
What I need is a bit of javascript that will recognise some image paths on a page and replace those image paths with other ones.
It's for an ecommerce website on a certain platform, using a customer reviews section which outputs star images based on the customer's rating. So, the images used (which look awful) are, for example, "sourcehere/stars_5.gif", "sourcehere//stars_4.gif", and so on. Just 5 of them.
I want to design my own 5 images, upload those images, and then have the javascript replace the rubbish looking ones on the page with my own images.
I thought I'd be able to find something quite easily, but so far all I can find is examples of mouseover events and so on, and I don't need any of that, just the entire image replaced with my own image.
I'm in the process of creating a portfolio site for my artwork and I'm requesting help. The website has a scalable JQuery background which changes depending on which thumbnail you click.
I've uploaded the progress here:[url]
I'm using this code at the moment to scroll through the background:
Unfortunately, the bottom code overwrites the top. Is it possible for each different background image to have their own "set" of images that could be scrolled through onclick?
i created this little script that creates dynamically a row. my problem is that when i want to delete a row it always deletes the last one, they way i have it mind that it will only delete the selected row. Code:
I have started off just with a simple table as you will see from the code linked below. The code allows you to click an Add button to add a row to the table. The rightmost cell contains a delete link, which when clicked should call the removeRowWithID function to delete that row from the table.
It is this delete link which I am having problems with. It works fine in Firefox, but not at all in IE6. The Add button works fine in both as you will see.
It seems that when clicking the delete button in IE6, it chooses to try the href="#" option instead of the I have pasted this link code in a static html doc and it works fine in both browsers, it is only when I use the DOM code to create the links that it fails in IE6.
I have coded a wee alert box to display the innerHTML of this cell for reference once a line is added, and apart from the order of the attributes within the a tag (which I do not seem to have any control over in IE), it appears fine. There is a second alert box which pops up on clicking the delete link if the function is called successfully Code:
