If I select one of the menu items the submenu appears just fine, my only problem is that If I point the mouse curser away from the whole menu the submenu is still shown, obviously if I click once with the mouse outside the menu the submenu disappears. So I need some kind of remove-submenu function when the mouse pointer is not pointing on menusubmenu....
I have this loop I run to retrieve wallposts with php. Within this loop, I want a link/button on every post that says "comment". When the user clicks the comment link I want a comment field and post button to appear on the post I clicked on. The problem is that when I've tried making a link that does this, it only drops down the comment field on the most recent wallpost regardless of which wallpost I click on.
I have some code to pick a wire size and conduit size from 2 separate drop down list. Then inside the js it is evaluated to decide how many wires. My problem is I can't figure out how to make the drop down options go into the JS. I just put in an error alert to test if they were for now.
Here is my code:
function fillcap(){ var wire = document.getElementById("wireSize"); var conduit = document.getElementById("conduitSize"); if (wire.option.length >= 10 && conduit.option.length == .5) { windows.alert("Wire Size exceeds conduit max fill!") }
Is there anyway to make a vertical super fish menu drop left? I have positioned the menu on the right side of the page so, I need sub-menus to drop left. Is this possible?
A page with drag/droppable images. When an image is dragged to a "cart" (a div), the script gets the value of that image (say $30) and saves it to that particular uses "cart".When they refresh, the image remains in the cart. Images need to be able to be removed.Also, the values are added together in the "cart" to give a total. When if this total exceeds a predefined limit within the script, no more images can be added and the gallery items "grey" out (maybe).Or at least pointing me in the correct direction?But the tutorial doesn't include a php file or the ability to save items to database per user.
everything is working nicely except I think it makes sense if after the form submits, the last option value clicked is still selected. Is there anyway to do this with some code that says something like: after submit, initially selected = last clicked?
I am having trouble with a simple image gallery with navigational buttons including "first", "next", "previous", and "last"; and making a drop-down archive menu.
1. For the most part, the image gallery works. The problem is that when a user clicks on "next", and then "prev", the last image is not displayed. On the other hand, if a user clicks "prev", and then "next" the last image is displayed(works normally).
2. The way I am displaying the last image, the function last(), is not efficient. It simply refreshes the page in order to display the last image.
Basic overview: The images follow a simple standard: page1, page2, page3,...page64; they are in a subfolder "img". The function changeImage() changes the image from the prev, to the next. The image gallery displays the last image in the gallery; when a user clicks on 'prev' it goes to the previous image, and go to the next image when clicked on 'next'. If the current image is the last image, and the user clicks on 'next', it goes to the very first image. Here is the code (in the
My guess is the code is not working properly due to the initial values of the counter.Last, is there a way to display the current image "myimage.src" using a dropdown menu with each option value as each image?I have done this with window. location, but this only redirects to the image location.
i'm having with a superfish menu i have tried to add to my wordpress site.The menu seems to work fine for the base-level (top parent pages) menu items.But the drop down menus seem to flash on screen for just a second and then disappear when the mouse hovers over the menu items.To see an example, please check out the top menu on this temporary development page: http:[url].....I have tried adjusting the z-index in superfish.css file but it doesn't seem to be having any effect.
I am implementing auto re-order drop down values in asp.net. My requirement is something: I have five drop down and each has populated using 1 to 5 values. when I changevalue from dropdown, other drop down values(numberordering)should change automatically.

I currently have a Drop-Down menu, which has headers you click on to show the links. This menu only allows one drop to be expanded at a time, and can be viewed here [url].
I would like the headers to be able to have 'sub-headers' inside, which also drop-down,to reveal the links. I want them to have a different header colour, and to have the same rule where only one can be open at a time. while keeping the rule with the main headers.
I have been searching for a long time but have been unsuccessful on how to develop a drop down menu but have the menu items show in a list above the main nav. Not below. I really like the way this functions:[URL].. But I would like the item in the list to appear above the main nav so it animates up not down. Can anyone help me on how to alter this js code to perform this task?
Here is the jQuery file link:[URl].. I tried going through this js file but it very complex. Can anyone tell me what I need to change to have the animation roll up instead of down?
So, what it does: You can successfully drag something anywhere, but when you click it again, it resets to its original position (I don't know why), and when you try to drag it again, as soon as your cursor touches the object it disappears (I don't know why). why it is happening and how to fix it!
// JavaScript Document var posX; var posY; var element;
[Code]....
the html is a simple (position is set to relative):
<p id="square" onmousedown="drag(event)">meep</p>
EDIT: This is the first time I've written javascript code and would like to learn the basics, which is why I am not using a library.
I'm currently redesigning my site, and I have a small quandary.[URL].. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same size monitor as me, therefore sometimes the drop-down menus get cut off. Is there a way with this script for it to auto-detect if it's going past the bottom edge, and when this happens it'll go upwards instead?
I am looking to put a drop down menu in my for i have the drop down set up but i am not sure how to do the make hidden text field pop up when "Other" is selected. I am guessing you use javascript to make this happen

I am trying to create a drop down list which depend to the value selected from the previous drop down list. I can add it without problem, but If I change again the value of the first drop down list I would like to remove the previous drop down list generated from the first value. If I try to remove it when I create the element, it even does not create the element, the remove element function seems to work because when you click on the remove link it works.
iam trying to use 5 drop downs in my form for user to select languages and each select drop down should not allow the user to select the same language again and all my drop downs are populating individually from the DB on the page so if "English" is selected for "dropdown 1" then again "drop down 2" should not allow "English" to be selected.
I want to try and make a menu using javascript and DHTML. I want the menu to be horizontaly placed on top of the webpage. When I move the cursor over it a popup menu comes up. Sort of like what you can find on the first page of Micrsoft.com near the top. But I want the menu to have a more transparent blue color. Is that possible? Also where would I go to find out how to do this?
I have a client who wants a gallery of images to pop up on her enter page similar to this site, http://bit.ly/mUscmo . It won't be identical, but she likes the way the images all pop up and then just stay there.I know how to function JavaScript, but I don't know how to write it from scratch. Is there any where I could find a code that does something similar to this?
I know how to make it so you click on a picture and a pop-up window appears with a picture inside. But i dont know how to put multiple pictures that are pop-ups...
