I have this loop I run to retrieve wallposts with php. Within this loop, I want a link/button on every post that says "comment". When the user clicks the comment link I want a comment field and post button to appear on the post I clicked on. The problem is that when I've tried making a link that does this, it only drops down the comment field on the most recent wallpost regardless of which wallpost I click on.

I'm trying to make a comment field that only appears once you've clicked the "Add comment link". I'd like it to replace the add comment link. I assume this is an onclick event of some sort, but I'm not sure quite how to go about doing it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cant really figure this out, the only thing i could see messing it up is the javascript:void(0) inside the anchor link but since there is a double click function and a click, it should only be one click.I put autoOpen which i think is also causing it, but i did that so theuser can open it, close it, and open it again so the delay "double click" is saying for the first time initialize and then the second click is opening?? if so how do i get around this?

If I select one of the menu items the submenu appears just fine, my only
problem is that If I point the mouse curser away from the whole menu the
submenu is still shown, obviously if I click once with the mouse outside the
menu the submenu disappears. So I need some kind of remove-submenu function
when the mouse pointer is not pointing on menusubmenu....
I have some code to pick a wire size and conduit size from 2 separate drop down list. Then inside the js it is evaluated to decide how many wires. My problem is I can't figure out how to make the drop down options go into the JS. I just put in an error alert to test if they were for now.

I am trying to get the title attribute of a link to be the same as the visible text of the link. That is, I want the little pop up that occurs when you hover your mouse over the link to read the same as what users would see in the menu.
The menu is written by Javascript, so there is no way to just put a title attribute on each link. Here is the code:

and it works in IE and FF but in Opera it still follows the link.

Currently, the script allows you to click on a piece of the accordion to open it, but it is set to close on mouseleave. When I set the mouseleave to .click, it gets confused and doesn't know what state it is in. I have a class hidden by default at the document ready state. I use the show() function when its parent has been clicked and I want to be able to apply a click function to this newly visible element - when I write it I am finding that it is overriding the initial hide(). How do I work around this? I should say that this element is just a bit of text that says "close x" and will be used to "close" its parent div down...

I want to call the click event of the link (anchor tag) on the click of the button. I used this code below in the click event of button to call links click event and it works fine in IE.

everything is working nicely except I think it makes sense if after the form submits, the last option value clicked is still selected. Is there anyway to do this with some code that says something like: after submit, initially selected = last clicked?

When I drag my link to my droppable area, an ajax request is supposed to triggred, but it seems like the whole page is beeing reloaded. This works fine with Chrome and Firefox. It works in IE if I have insert an alert in the drop function.
