I'm trying to make it so that when a user clicks on a radio button, the image that is related to the radio button is displayed next to it (without reloading the page). At the moment all it shows is the image related to the currently saved option, which I'd like to keep on page load. Is this possible?

Anyways this works...But here is where I'm stuck:
When I load or refresh the page it is defaulted(checked) on the first radio button which is Email...but the JS script won't work until I click on the other so when not interacted they are both writeable.....
How can I have it defaulted to email and have the mail grayed out at page load or refresh?

I recently added a section to my website that uses the Scrollable JQuery tool to load images from my Flickr account. When I initially load the page the "next" button requires two clicks before it will advance to the next set of images. This only happens on the first attempt following the page load. When I look at the code it appears that Scrollable fires an event on the first click that removes the "disabled" class on the "prev" anchor tag. I am trying to produce a web form to allow wedding guests to RSVP. The form allows them to enter a name and select from a radio button whether they will be attending or not. If they select the "yes" radio button then a further pair of radio buttons are displayed for their meal preference.
They can then click a submit button or they can click another button to add another line for another guest which operates in exactly the same way. I've almost got this working, but it seems that the checkbox change handler is lost for the current guest when a new guest is added and the checkbox value is reset. I've got a feeling I'm doing something stupid but can't for the life of me figure out what.

Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have it set up so that there are three frames (frames and the use of javascript are encourage for practice) "bar" on the left with navigational options, "main" in the center where the body of the drill is presented, and "feedback" along the bottom where the feedback will appear.
My issue is that I have everything working except the form! I'm not sure how to make it so that upon clicking the submit button the feedback is presented in the "feedback" frame. This was suggested to me but isn't working, maybe I have a mistake somewhere? Or is there another way I can do this?

I'm trying to do a show/hide on a radio button click and I do have it working, but I'd like to make it more...extensible/independent of hard- coding children elements to show hide.
My dummy html structure is:

I was trying to get the first ul (the children to show/hide) on "this" (the radio button clicked). I'd like this to be flexible to where you could add more radio button/children and as long as the structure stays the same, the show/hide functionality works.

On clicking 'OS' radio button I want to get the 1st form and hide second one and on clicking 'Platform' radio button I want the second form and hide the first one.

I have pretty much completed my script but now what I want it to do is to add more forms/field when the "Other" radio button is selected. So when the Other button is checked, I want the script to display more fields/forms below. Only when the "other" button is selected. When "other" selected the script should display fields like "cheque", "cash", "Payment" etc.
