I have been following a tutorial for an image gallery, i can upload images and use gd to create thumbnails that when clicked display the full sized image, but the full sized image is to big to fit in my design, i have managed to get the rel="lightbox" attached to the thumbnails as they are displayed but it wont load the full image, the loading ring just keeps going round, does anybody know how to fix this? is it even possible.
I got this working in chrome and was happy until I got to check out IE8! Enough said about that.The code I have now will work (in both chrome and IE8) if I manually set the height and width of the image but I cannot get them dynamically, for instance if images have different sizes, I've been trying for a while now but cannot get anywhere with it.The code I am currently using (of my own creation) is;
i,m trying to make an application with JS and html5 i have tryed to make a google map who loads my position and let me choose a target positioni got it to work but sudenly the map have stoped loading as it shud i need to tilt my phone to get it to load the full map and i can`t figure out what i have done wrong:(
I have an onClick event ( showEvent(event) - "ajax") which after a short delay calls another event ( showEvent2(event) - Iframe ). Can someone tell me if it is possible to code this that second event ( showEvent2(event) - Iframe) is shown only after it is fully ( 100% ) loaded.
function showEvent(event) { Lightview.show({ href: 'redirection-notice.php', rel: 'ajax',
I am using the Lightbox plugin for a gallery page. On the live site two of the images I added after I built the original gallery WILL NOT LOAD/SHOW on the lightbox! I cannot find any errors/discrepancies in my coding, and the previews (using Dreamweaver) in several browsers work FINE.
I have deleted and re-put the entire site from scratch, but still no success.
What am I missing?
Here is the page -- the uncooperative images are towards the end of the gallery (images 35 and 38): Cadogan Gardens - Creative Landscapes garden design landscaping in Melbourne Victoria
I have problem with loading lightbox image effects. I want to wait page to be loaded to apply lightbox effects on content images. My header code looks like this
I am loading a phph mysql result set into a div via jquery load. In ff, chrome, everything but ie7 it works fine. in ie7 it only returns one result when it should return many. This is the js im using:
I have built a website using a)MySQL b)HTML c)PHP and d)Javascript. My website consists of basic html pages/templates which have links to the left and point to another templates/pages. For example, i have 4 templates in my site
Each template consists of 1. a small menu with links,every link points to another page 2.space for the content/text of the html page 3. a form for searching in the website using php and a mysql database. Well, i'm thinking of adding some animation in my website using the jquery library.Let's say we have an accordion which has 4 choices and when the user clicks on the first choice the 1st template(NEWS) appears inside the slide of accordion,loads in the same slide, not in a new page!!!This is what i would like to do, place in each slide of the accordion one of my templates. CAn this be done? Which are the disadvantages of adding in each slide of the accordion a different template for my site and remain in the same slide when the user clicks in one of the links of the template? Consider that i'm using dynamic content and not static, i have a MySQL database behind.
Also,as i have seen in most examples the options of accordion usually contain an image, a content, a text or links which open in a new window or tab not inside the slide!!!These links do not load in the same slide!!i would like to have a template which loads in the slide each time the user clicks on a link of it.
I have this simple code here: var container = document.getElementById(con); var obj = container.getElementsByTagName('img'); And I want to get the full HTML image tag using the obj value, if you get what I mean. So I want to get this: <img src="images/image_209948045.jpg" /> by using this: obj[0];
I want the website to show a lighbox with video started as soon as it is loaded. I should also have an option to close the video. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"> </div>
I'm new to jQuery and I recently encounter this problem: ePC.html = contain an image with lightbox effect (work with IE, Chrome, Firefox). reviews.html = Our home page. connect to scripts/script.js.(Contain the .load() function, loading ePhone.html or ePC.html by clicking on one of those 3 links). Ignore "ePhone.html". Below is the scripts/script.js file:
However, the value only seems to include the filename - and not the full path (what I'm trying to achieve, is a "preview" feature - which will shrink the image down to a fixed size, and update an existing <img id="xxx"> bit in the HTML)
i'm making a clothing website and i was just wondering.. if i have a bunch of thumbnail sized images on the page atm, how would i go about so if people put their mouse over the thumbnail, it would load the full sized T-shirt? I obviously have the images on my computer and host for the Thumbnails and the Real-image sized shirts.
What I am trying to do: A full screen background image, that auto refreshes every 3 seconds. How I am doing it: I am using EvoCam for my camera software. It uploads the image to my server every 3 seconds, perfectly fine. I am using "Back Stretch" for my full screen capabilities, as I found it to work best is all browsers. BackStretch
My Problem: Using backstretch, applies the background image to the page through javascript, so I dont have an <img> tag to manipulate. A lot/all of the image refresh scripts I have found, use examples where there is an <img> tag. I had used another jQuery method of doing the background that had image tags but did not work in all browsers. When I was using this method, I ran into cache problems where the new image would not load.
Where do I go? I am feeling a bit lost, being relatively new to Javascript, I am unsure of how to go about clearing these problems I have. I feel that the eventual answer is to timestamp the photos, and include the timestamp into the image refresh, and somehow make it so that I am refreshing the Code: <pre><code><script type="text/javascript"> $.backstretch("images/myCam.gif", {speed: 1}); </script> </code></pre> that controls my background image. I have found scripts that include timestamp refreshes, but the way that EvoCam timestamps the image is of a different format than the way Javascript uses
EvoCam images look like: webcam2011-05-11-16-21-34.jpg and I thought Javascript looks relatively the same, but without the dashes. I have a test page set up, where you can see my surly, discouraged face [URL].
I need to have a page wait till the entire thing is loaded before the user interacts with it. I would like for it to do a lightbox styled grey box over it or even something like plesk does where it fades out the background (same effect really) until the page has loaded
im trying to make it so that when clicking thumbnails it will change the full screen background to its respective picture along with continuing its automatic slideshow
www.petpawfurry.com is the website in which im working on.
also, is there anyway to make the slider, slide to the right, instead of fading in and out?
I am to create 4 links on a html page that when the link is clicked it brings an image up in a certain position. When you click the second link it is to bring that image up in the same position as the first image and so on and so on. I can get the links to work but the image is full size and it is not in the position that I was expecting it to be in. Once the image is displayed it covers the links so they are not able to be used. I put all the code on one page just for testing purposes, I figred that if I could get it to work in one page splitting the code into a css page and a js page would be the easy part. I have rewritten the code with buttons instead of links and I get the same result.I think there is a problem with the css but I am not sure.
I so far have a scrollable image gallery of some thumbnails, I now wish to be able to click on the thumbnails and it load the corresponding full sized image with the website and everything else behind it being darkened/dimmed.the xhtml is structured like this so far, with no links to the full size images
I am looking for a plugin that will popup a full size image WITH HYPERLINK when user clicks the thumbnail image link. I found [url] is useful but I can't add the hyperlink to the full size popup image.
